Not true they have those qualitys as well but its just not attractive.

Indoor cats don’t stay out all night. And I know very few cats that want to be “left alone.” If by wanting to be left alone you mean rubbing up against people, purring, jumping in their lap, sleeping on their chest, etc. then okay that makes sense.

Cats don’t complain about everything. Cats let you watch whatever you want on TV and they also don’t steal the remote (usually; one of my cats likes to sleep on it). Cats actually take an interest in what you’re doing and want to help.
And cats are much, much tidier in the bathroom.
Cats want to “help” with what you’re doing? What activities are you taking part in? Batting at balls of yarn? Pouncing on mice?
If it’s what you really want in a housemate, I could sit on your keyboard while you’re trying to type.
plus, when you die alone they will start to eat your carcas so there is little cleanup!
The cat doesn’t leave dishes in the living room or pee on the toilet
It leaves it’s food bowl outside in a mess (sometimes) or inside depending on where you put the food, and when cats go to the bathroom you literally have to clean up after them by cleaning out the litter box.

What do cats help with? Mine help with the laundry, making up the bed (got to make sure the sheets are straight you know), sweeping the floors. Oh! And they don’t have to be asked to do these things, they just volunteer. LMAO
I have 2 very obedient cats, they DO come in when they’re called and they love attention and always greet me with meows when they see me. All cats are different, but they have very unique personalities. People tend to forget that.
Ewww don’t assume ALL women love cats. I’m a woman, and I HATE cats. And no, they aren’t tidy in the bathroom or adorable. My sister has a cat, and he always stinks like poop. He’s annoying and ruins things. Believe it or not, some of us women are dog people only. :/

Yeah, another +1 from over here. I hate how many of my friends have the stupid things. Pets should be in cages when you’re not playing with ‘em … give me a pair of rats or a guinea pig any day.
I agree. Dogs are the best, they beat cats in every category. I like a few individual cats… but the species as a whole? Forget about it. And cat people, puh-leaze. If you want to instantly add “frumpy” as a characteristic of yourself, describe yourself as a cat person.

I love this kind of elementary school logic. First of all, I know many men who love cats too and also some women who do not like cats. Second, my cats do not exhibit these so called cat-traits. My cats love my company and always want to cuddle and sleep with me. Also, this is not even remotely funny or creative.
Hm, I love men and hate cats. Cats are nasty, and at least men are capable of not being nasty, though not all of them choose to do so.

I’m a guy, I’ll take a cat over ANY dog. Not a dog fan. And I think girls who like cats seem friendlier and more “girly”. And I like that :3

My cats come when called,love to cuddle,and are in my bed every night. They don’t cheat on me,talk crap to me,lie to me,piss on the floor instead of in the toilet(you can aim a gun but you can’t get piss in the toilet?),leave dirty clothes on the floor…..should I go on? And dogs are too damn needy. I do not want a dog that has to be walked even when it’s snowing or I’m sick and have to pick up warm fresh poo with a plastic bag either. Gross. You can’t leave a dog at home to go away for the weekend either but I can with my cats. There are alot of stereotypes about cats,most of which aren’t true. It’s just people who don’t have cats repeating what others say,others who probably haven’t spent much time with cats or have had one bad experience with a cat and now they think they’re all bad.
We don’t pee on the floor; the pee splashes out. It’s mostly water. And of course we don’t come when called, because we’re not butlers. Also, cuddling sucks. And cats do cheat on you, but you don’t know because they lie about it. They may not leave dirty clothes on the floor, but which is harder to pick up, clothes or fur? Fur everywhere? Or dead mice?
