I now know where the person that puts up the signs at McDonald’s goes to school.
Actually LEAP is an educational program that stands for Los Angeles Education Partnership. So what is perceived as a misspelling was actually done on purpose.
The school in question is located in Ohio, near Cleveland.

Are you sure? cause that is not the mascot for Lakewood High School in Ohio.

There’s an underlying philosophical take on this. A transition from “A to B” (bad to good) Misspelled word of “Leaping” to correct lettering of “Literacy”

This wasn’t shopped at all. I pass by this school on a daily basis, and the sign truly reads “laeping”.

It is in St. Pete. I took a picture of it last weekend. I was shocked when I saw it here.
