  1. O_o says:

    Very crappy meme!

  2. Yeahbrah says:

    I hate TapouT douche bags.

    • mort goldman says:

yeah..everyone knows American Fighter shirts are cooler

    • greed says:

I don’t really get the TapouT thing.

I’m used to a tap-out meaning “uncle”, “I give up”, “stop”, “ouch”… you know, “I lost.”

Kinda like being pleased to come second in a two-horse race.

      • Sherlockian says:

        That’s still what it means.
It’s also a brand of clothing.

      • Nobody says:

You see, “TapouT” (with two capital T’s), is very similar to to “tap-out”.

They both refer to ‘surrender’, but one is specific to getting a high school diploma.

  3. PenfoldTheBrown says:

    Hahahaha…..just…..hahahahaha

  4. trueKvltBroSlayer666 says:

only the bravest cage fighters can wear tapout gear …duh kip everyone knows that….first one must acquire tanning skills, collar popping skills, annoying women skills….lolz

  5. Sieg67 says:

But my dad got me this shirt…

  6. MelissaG says:

I’m an athletic female. If I have more muscle than you, you should not be wearing a TapouT shirt. I could snap you in half with my thighs. Douchebag. Great Gene Wilder pic, love it!

  7. Kay says:

If you’re going to criticize people for wearing Tapout t-shirts when they aren’t fighters, then you better start making fun of guys who wear basketball shirts and don’t play basketball or wear football jerseys or hockey shirts or baseball hats. What a bunch of two faces.

    • Alwc says:

Agreed, I wear tapout shirts from time to time because I am a fan of the brand and the fighters they sponsor. Not because I think I can fight myself

    • Except basketball is a real sport and tapping out just means giving up.

    • El Roberto says:

I agree, we should make fun of people who wear sports jerseys. It is stupid to wear a shirt with another man’s name on it, especially one designed for a sport that you are not playing at the moment.

    • Bill Murray says:

It does mean you are a douche. Everyone that sees you thinks you’re a douche for liking the fighters and their clothes, and the only reason you wear it is because you want people to think you are cool, but it doesn’t make you look cool, it make’s you look like a poser

      • Sean says:

uuuuunnnnnless you have been training in MMA in a Gracie academy for years…and have been a fan of and student of combat sports since you were a child…oh, and you learned a lot of that stuff when you were a marine. but hey, thats just me. you after all are the expert on clothing oh mighty internetz lord! I shall burn all tapout, metal mulisha, and silver star shirts i own and all sports related clothing in general. thank you for opening my eyes, kind sir!

  8. At least the guy above me is honest. I used to wear skate and surf shirts but I’ve never done either one. A cool shirt is just a cool shirt, you shouldn’t have to defend your right to wear a shirt you own and like.

  9. M.A.D.MikE says:

So, by this logic – everyone wearing AC/DC t-shirt should either be an amazing guitarist or a professional electrician?

  10. leredson says:

I’m good at street fighter does that count?

  11. Ben says:

    Oh, a screenshot?
    You must be the OP.

  12. Chuck says:

I made this weeks ago as an inside joke between some friends and I. After I posted it to Facebook it made its way here apparently. Not that it matters. If you laughed great, if you didn’t that’s cool too. It was never meant to be funny to the general Cheezburger crowd.

  13. Ohsnap says:

Na bro see I train UFC and I got a TapouT shirt for every scrub I’ve ko’d. So far, I got three.

  14. Springely says:

Quality of picture, Y U NO higher?

  15. jerry says:

I hate hate hate this meme and all its variants! Y U attack our clothes? but seriously, I don’t even get these memes because they attempt to cover too broad of a scope…i dunno…maybe its me…I love me some memes, just not this one…

  16. Chris says:

Best meme ever. I am so sick of these morons running around with these shirts promoting the gayest sport ever, Brazilian Jujitsu. Their mantra is that 90% of all fights go to the ground, not knowing this was a marketing ploy started by the Gracies. In all the fights I have unfortunately had to be in, none have ever went to the ground. In all the fights I have seen in person none have ever went to the ground either.

    • Sean says:

actually broseph…they promote MMA as a whole unless you run around wearing your BJJ gi all the time. BJJ being only part of the multifaceted training needed to perform well in MMA. PS, ask James Toney how well his stand up worked for him in the UFC.

    • metalwright says:

A wrestler or good jiu jitsu fighter will take you to the ground against your will, and then pwn you.

      But good argument.

  17. Dave says:

I think tap out shirts have an implied meaning, while sports jerseys simply show support for the respective team. Tap out shirts imply that the person wearing belongs to a culture where fighting, submissions, beer, motocross, metal mulisha, black flys, dickies, half/full sleeves, Nickel Back, soul patches, wearing hat featuring various energy drink companies, overly large truck driving, desert living, etc. are totally acceptable and encouraged. Right?
