Except that it originally stood for World Wildlife Fund. When the wrestling people started up, they agreed not to go by “WWF”. When they violated this agreement, the Wildlife people sued, and won, and the wrestling people had to change to WWE (which I always felt was an incredibly lame name).

I don’t particularly care about wrestling one way or the other….but from what I understand the WWF sells hundreds of thousands of PPV buys per crack and regularly sells out live shows all around the world….so obviously a lot of people do enjoy it. Not really sure how one could be “fed up” with the “propaganda” for wrestling…where exactly are you that you’re getting ads for it crammed down your throat 24/7?
