Because it most likely IS a nursing manual.
Did you see at the bottom where it says “If birth appears imminent, the nurse should…”?
I’ve found worse things in some of my nursing texts, but most books assume that we have at least a little common sense…
Im a guy and yet I believe I experience all of these signs of impending birth right after my second cup of coffee, especially “I think the baby is coming”…. Could I be pregnant?
My sister in law walked into the hospital, yelled my baby is coming and was basically ignored. Babies head was all the way out when nurses finally did something… So… yeah this needs to be in the Manual unfortunately.
This reads more like a nursing manual to me. Still, fail.

They forgot my favourite – anal pouting ^_^
Mots obvious of them all?
“MY WATER BROKE!”
You’re welcome.

Waters don’t always break before birth though
Well, they usually do, but not 100% of the time.
That can be a sign of eventual birth, but not impending. My water “broke” 60 hours before my son was born.
Contrary to movies, most women do not experience that huge rush of fluid. Many have just a trickle for days, or weeks, before the birth.

I can think of one more. Accidentally selecting “try for baby” rather than “woohoo”.
I like that it implies women have more then one buttocks.
…..
Tell me I read your comment wrongly. Last I checked just about every woman I’ve known had two buttocks.
Maybe they just breed them differently around your neck of the woods?
