I’m not a chemist and it was the first thing I noticed!
If they really were chemical symbols, this would be quite funny when you consider the use of the word “chemistry” in romance. But it doesn’t really work. Nice try though.
Though this isn’t a fail, it’s on failblog because the majority of people who visit this site are idiots who are satisfied with unintelligent content. Many of them patronize failblog’s advertisers, which generates revenue. Failblog caters its content to the people who make them money, and those are the people who dictate the quality of this website’s content. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why failblog doesn’t even try anymore.
It’s a major fail cause it quotes one of the most overrated artist there has ever been. Everytime someone listens to a Lady Gaga song, admits to be a Lady Gaga fan.. well it’s a HUGE fail for Humanity.
Arsenic is As, not Ah
Radon is Rn, not Ro
Molybdenum is Mo, not Ma
So this “teacher” only got oxygen, gallium, and lanthanum correct.
Bad facts+bad joke+bad song=EPIC FAILURE. But not the funny failure that you can laugh at, the bad failure that make you request this dork’s teaching license be revoked and both School of Fail and Music Fails taken off the internet.
But most of us probably wanted Music Fails taken off Failblog already.
And it’s not possible that someone (teacher or otherwise) simply doctored the periodic table in this way just to spoof a Lady Gaga song for his own or others’ entertainment because…?
I suck at chemistry, but even I know that there aren’t elements such as some of those in the periodic table. Come on.
While I’m already b*tching, let that stupid song die already. It was grating when it first came out, and it’s even more grating that I hear it at least five to six times a day at work. Can’t she just coke out already?
::rolling eyes:: This one is just plain stupid. Total groaner. Come on editors… can’t you do better than this??
It was also featured on somebody’s status post in the failbook section several weeks ago.
The phrase “…found dead in a hotel room this morning” needs to be preceded by the words “Lady Gaga”.
No, just no.
Ha! You’re a Lady Gaga fan!
The like button, where is it
and why is this a fail?
Molybdenium = Ma?
Arsenic = Ah?
well, Ra Ra As As As and, Rn Mo Rn Mo Mo, just don’t make for catchy lyrics.
So you call Ra Ra Ah Ah Ah lyrics?
Do people actually listen to manlady gaga?
The first time I heard that song I felt embarrassed.
They’ve already made a song with Arsenic:
As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As [STOP!]
Leave it to a chemist to complain that the abbreviations don’t match the element names on more than half of these…
I’m not a chemist and it was the first thing I noticed!

He obviously isn’t a real chemist because the symbol for Arsenic is As not Ah.
Also, molybdenum = Mo and radon = Rn. Miserable fail…
Ra is radium though :p
Oh, you’re talking about the Ro obviously, my bad :p

No-one’s a bigger fan of Lady Gagbag than Lady Gagbag herself.
Every time an idiot stamps all over someone’s opinion because they don’t agree with it, it is also a HUGE fail for humanity.
Then wtf are you doing here?
c’est terrible! que est downvotee?
Arsenic is As, not Ah
