Perdy little Frenchie….:P I dunno, it only constitutes cruelty if it’s dangerous or discomforting to the dog. Same with “dressing them up”–it’s only bad if it somehow hurts or disadvantages them, restricts their freedom of movement, or what have you. This looks silly and humorous, but one needs to know how the lashes were applied in order to determine how advisable it was.
As someone who wears false eyelashes from time to time, I’m here to say that there’s only one way to apply: Glue. Its uncomfortable to peel them off and the glue often sticks to the lash causing further discomfort. Poor dog; this is taking it too far. Hopefully the owner has been shamed enough to think twice before doing such an crappy thing to an animal.
I hope this is ‘shopped but it doesn’t look like it. I wear false eyelashes all the time and have had glue in my eyes, definitely animal cruelty! I’d never EVER do that to my dog. Please don’t be stupid enough to copy this!
This is disturbing in so many ways..first of all, IF these false eyelashes are REALLY glued on this poor Frenchie…That is so horribly cruel and abusive, I don’t even know where to begin. And if they are you really shouldn’t own a dog until you learn what you should and shouldn’t do to it. There’s an epic failure here alight, but as a dog owner and a human being, but that’s about it.
Pet owner fail.
Can anyone say “animal cruelty”?
only with suspicious “quotation marks”
But it WAS a quote – of what “anyone” can say
I agree. That’s mean.
It’s OK. That stuff was rubbed into a lot of rabbits eyes to make sure that dog didnt suffer
It was rubbed into a lot of puppies’s eyes too … And variety of rodents
Suddenly, Disney.
lmao!!!! you made my day. sir, with only two words
Wtf possesses a person to want to do this to an animal? Here I thought dressing them up was bad enough.
thats not a very nice thing to call Snookie

…says the person who puts glue near her eyes? 0_0
Haha, that’s what I though. So you’d do it to yourself but not to your dog? What kind of masochist PETA freaks are these?
@3Frencies @maddy yet you admittedly and sadistically subject yourself to the same treatment?
I dunno…that hound looks disturbingly attractive for some reason.
am i the only one that this picture remind me Gloria from madagascar ?
Looks like the South Park veal calves.
This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. This picture is making me hate dogs, that’s how terrible it looks.
The poor dog’s eyes are turning red from irritation…
Sweet baby Jeebus. That is terrifying.
I have the weirdest boner right now…
Holy sh** that’s scary.
Cute dog, but this really isn’t a great idea. I’m going to assume that the false eyelashes are secured to the dog’s eyelids with glue.
looks like Oprah
WTF?
This is going on my desktop
Well, hello there….
I’m looking at my dog, and going, “What meds did she put the dog on to get it to put up with that?”
I hate dogs
It looks like Liza Minnelli.
