in fact, the Reminders app on the white one is from iOS 5, the black iPhone is still on iOS 4. So I suppose this is an iPhone 4S (white) next to an iPhone 4 (black)
Oh. I thought the white ones are the ladies model while black ones were the mens model. My older brother got a white one and so I constantly give him crap about having a woman’s iPhone while I have the men’s iPhone.
So to me that’s sexist!

FYI, white plastic is often more difficult to manufacture than black plastic. White plastic is usually more brittle, requiring more work.

The real fail is the number of people who’ll pay that much for a phone.
Yeah, for a phone that will be supported for two years instead dumped like that other handset you saved $20 on. Nexus One, anyone?
I highly doubt they’ll even own this phone that long. Soon as the iPhone 5 comes out, this one will be dumped faster than….*blinks* someone fill in the blank please!

Well, no. In the US, the 16, 32, and 64 GB iPhones are $199, $299, and $399, with a two year contract with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon. When you do that, the carriers pay Apple $450 on the spot, because over the two years, you will end up paying them thousands of dollars. If you want to buy the iPhone without a contract, so it’s unlocked and you can just put in any SIM, you pay $649, $749, or $849, depending on the model — so you are also paying the carrier’s share of the price.

white one is iPhone 4s, black one is iPhone 4. They’re different phones, thats why they have different prices.
Like with those laptops you can request in different colours are usually higher priced. People will pay a little bit more if its a different colour to what everyone else has.
Dont get a black one, those are LOUD AS HELL!
The bottom of the black one sticks out
FALSE! the White one is on the 5.1 iOS and the black one is on the 4.1 iOs. the reason ik is 1 i own an iPhone and have gone threw both those iOS’s and 2 they changed the “iPod” on 4.1 to “Music” on the 5.1 if you look in the bottom right corner on the doc you can see these differences also 3 5.1 has a seperate folder now marked “Videos” and “Newsstand” also not on the Right iPhone.
The black iPhones typically runs faster… but you’ll often need to jail-break them.
They are both iphone 4(s), they both have the iphone 4 antenna layout.
The price difference doesn’t really matter, anyone who pays that much for a phone is an imbecile..
