How can we make two things that suck most about sports (women’s sports and soccer) and make them suck worse? Women’s soccer. BRILLIANT!
At least when these players roll around on the ground, crying like girls, they’ll actually BE girls.
You must not have ever watched the US Woman’s National Soccer team before. Or really any woman’s soccer game. The falling on the ground crying is in men’s soccer only – the women actually play the game. They’re more athletic so lying on the ground to get a break doesn’t come in to play.
If you’re in the US, there’s no reason to hate our Women’s National Team. They’ve brought us two gold medals in the last two Olympics and they’re going for another in London with games 14-0 and 13-0 under their belts.
There’s no reason to be an ignorant American any longer…you should try harder.

For you Erin, thank you, I am a goalkeeper in women’s soccer. Everyone makes a mistake every once and a while, and as it happens the US team currently has the worlds best female goalkeeper.
I don’t know why, because women can play most sports to a fairly high level, but womens football (soccer) is very, very bad. I think its because the fact that soccer is thought of as a mens only game, and so women are very self concious playing football. But I also think for some reason women just can’t play football. Some sports they are almost as good as men, that swede women golfer could have got into the top 100 glofers in the world as a women for example.

Was that a Chinese team? I was reading recently about how terrible (and corrupt) Chinese soccer is. Apparently, not only do the players suck, but they’ll throw games and plays like this happen all the time when the team is told “lose by at least X points.” But, apparently, some teams are so bad that they can’t even do this right! The article I read talked about a team TRYING to do this three times in a row and messing up each time, thus failing to lose by as many points as they intended to lose by. But, maybe that’s not what’s happening here. It says CRC v. CAN, assuming the latter is Canada, but I’d think CRC would be Costa Rica, so maybe my Chinese theory is way off base. Nonetheless, it could be a similar tale of a team purposely trying to throw a game more so than a really terrible goalie.

It’s “Association Football” as opposed to “Rugby Football”. The Brits created the nickname “soccer” based on the “association” part of the name. American “Football” derived more from rugby, but the name “Football” stuck even as the game morphed into its current form. Soccer game along later in the US and we just used the nickname Brits came up with. Get past it; it’s an old trite argument that you need to just let go.

Football vs handegg. It is football. And you might not like it, but more people view it than people that view handegg. So even if it’s women playing and you don’t like the sport, don’t just be a douche about it. That is if it’s good by all standards.
But the fact is that women football sucks. Step it up, get it off the TV or make some retard youtube channel for it. Cause we don’t want sucky sports played by anyone, even men. It’s like women’s handegg, nobody watches that shiiiiit either.
