“Oh, hey, someone used the words ‘white’ and ‘power’ right next to each other! That’s funny because it seems racist out of context! This’ll be upvoted on FAIL Nation for sure!”
They are wall light switches and plates. Next to door knobs, light switches are probable one of the common surfaces in a home that is touched by everyone.
Oh lordy. Let me, as a WASP, take a photo of the sign that I feel sure is about six feet further down which says “black power accessories” and claim racism.
Oh wait, it’s not racism if it’s promoting a minority, right?
The “white power” and “black power” movements are not mirror images of each other.
They are not inverses.
Politics is not mathematics.
“White power” is almost exclusively used by rabid racists, who believe in social policies (complete national segregation etc) that are uncompromisingly racist.
“Black power” may be used by some racists, sure. There are more than a few “black power” activists who may have racist ideas, may even agree with elements of the “white power” peoples segregation, but it includes plenty of anti-racist people as well.
Third!!!
…Reich?
Comma, is implied.

Is the fail really the thought of something racist? Really?
In my opinion you must be racist to see anything racist in this.

I’ve heard of anti-bacterial surfaces being created for the kitchen, like counter tops, but I didn’t know it had extended to power outlets.

I haven’t encountered this before, either.
It almost sounds like a deliberate, concerted effort to create antibacterial-resistant household diseases.
I disagree. The conjunction of the two words together is funny. One does not need to be a racist to see that.
B&Q FTW.

I suspect they won’t have black ones, just chrome.
I’ve seen black outlets but they probably won’t give each color it’s own section just “white” and “non-white” (possibly “colored” or “misc”).
On their website they have “white” and “decorative”. I’ll have to check the store next time I’m in. http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/electrical/switches-sockets
Hmmm. I’ve got a power strip here. The master outlet is white and all the slave outlets are black. Never noticed that before…
Chrome Power!

These are pretty basic historical facts.
I think FAILBlog is under the misconception that this picture shows electrical supplies.

They are precious in his sight.
Jesus loves the little outlets of the world.
They’ve been selling white power and white power accessories for 20 years.
Oh my friend, they have been selling them for well over 400 years.
