AGREED!!! My twin and I grew up with the Power Rangers and we played it all the time, I was always the red and she was always the yellow. I showed her this and she is a fashion designer and will try and make them for use, We already have tattoos that are matching but the color but I cant wait!

I grew up in the 90s and I used to laugh at the power rangers and DBZ fans. It was always the kids with no friends and who were rubbish at everything who liked them, now they’re all on the internet and there is strength in numbers (I presume), since now it is widely accepted that they were always cool when they never actually were cool at all! It’s like people liking cancer and getting bullied about it then ten years later everybody and his dog loves cancer for some magical reason called “rose tinted glasses and an inability to think for one’s self”.

But 20 years ago, how many adults would say they enjoyed the Power Rangers without being made fun of? Riiiight. I mean, if this was geared toward children, I’d find this a little bit less contrived and “ironic”.
Its not aimed towards adults 20 years ago. its aimed towards adults that were kids 20 years ago.
No, it’s aimed at adults who are losers with no friends who were kids 20 years ago and were losers without friends back then as well.
Seriously, almost nobody liked the Power Rangers, it was forcibly pushed onto TV as a live-action alternative to Anime which was still viewed with suspicion by US Censors and Conservative Religious groups. When it horribly failed on TV, they made a last ditch effort to revive the franchise by making a movie which flopped even harder.
Sure, you feel nostalgia if you were alive back then. Just like I feel nostalgia when I see the Big Hair of the 80′s and the crap that was ‘popular’ back then. But it’s not because you enjoyed the show, it’s because the show triggers memories of other events which you associated with it.
Actually, the MMPR movie was a cash in, as most popular childrens franchises do, the Turbo movie however did flop.
The 5th Season was when it hit the lowest popularity, but a sudden surge in ratings during the 6th, and at the time considered last, season caused the Power Rangers brand to continue for a further 11 seasons until 2009 when Disney (Who bought it from Saban Brands in 2000?) decided to not continue the series with Shinkenger, which Saban did in 2010 after re-aqquiring the rights to Power Rangers from Disney. And in 2011 Power Rangers Samurai debuted, followed by Super Samurai which debuts this Feburary.

im getting the senSe you are either 10 and cant even have an opinion on this subject or are still angry bc all your friends made you be the pink ranger when you played in the school yard. either way to say no one enjoyed The Power Rangers in the 90′s is a complete understatement it was the most popuar kids show in the 90′s and sold over 150 million toys. when your a kid grand special effects dont matter so much.what does matter….chocolate milk,robots,ninja fights,and saturday morning cartoons…..SUCK IT!!!
Uh, no. Who’s to say who can like what? There are so many more lame shows now-a-days in my opinion than the power rangers back then anyways. Guess what? I never liked Sesame Street, ever, and seriously people never do shut up about how awesome it was. But again, seriously, your an adult telling other adults now that they were a loser when they were a kid. Didn’t we all learn to drop that sort of thing when we GREW UP!?

LOL I remember that too!! Nobody liked power rangers except for a select few, and somehow it seems to have been the coolest thing from the 90′s.
I don’t know what all you guys are talking about. When I was a kid? Power Rangers was the coolest ever. And all my friends as a kid loved the Power Rangers stuff. So I don’t know where YOU grew up, but we thought kids were kinda weird for NOT watching it.

Well, I’ll respond because I agree with this post AND loved Power Rangers.
Had almost no friends and was laughed upon/ made fun of every day of my school life.
But today, all those cool kids with their awesome parties and hundreds of friends are the real losers.
Instead of learning, they were to busy having fun, drinking and doing drugs. So while their jobless or angry at life because at work no one cares about popularity and whether you had the coolest birthday party when you were 13 or liked the power rangers.
Also you’re not very good at trolling. Your reasons are so random and unfitting.
Dont really understand the anger in this post. following reasons
1. you were a kid.
2. Power rangers were in the past/future.
3. what if people like it now. thats fine. As long as we/they arent shoving it in your face, why should you care?
4. Power rangers has always been popular. look at japan. it came from there, anyway.
