it says “Robert” at the top…obviously this person knew this number and it was in his/her address book. fail for not noticing that…

on iPhones, the green txt boxes show for you (the owner of the phone). So the screenshots were taking from the trollER’s phone, not the person who’s getting trolled.
The name at the top is the recipient of the msgs (the guy the toll is sending the msg TO). Make sense?
Keep that in mind next time you look at sms screenshots on failblog. Not to say that this wasn’t funny (it was), but most of the time, the screenshots of the sms msgs were taken from the person who sent the funny txt because they’re so full of themselves and they want everyone else to know how full of themselves they are. #justsayin
the person sending the texts had entered the other guy as robert. robert didn’t know who was sending the texts.
and you can’t block numbers on the iphone…
I think you can, you just have to do it on your carrier’s website. That is what I had to do with my android phone when this lady who did not speak English kept calling me 5 times a day.

You can block numbers using the parental settings on AT&T’s account settings, or you can jailbreak an iPhone and install the iBlacklist app that can block anything.

This was one of the best planned and funniest pranks I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t really qualify as a troll, but definitely off the charts for pranking. I wish I could think of something this epic.
