The full video is way down the comments, they obviously adore the stuff, see them licking the hell out of it, going back for more, pushing each other out of the way and getting quite hyper, someone says its frosting, I have no clue what it is, but they are severely enjoying it in full video, The particular gif just looks really… really… REALLY bad…

agreed. this is a total humanity fail. In Romania there are a lot of bears who come close to the cities and raid the trash cans.
I think it’s quicklime, but it might be something else just as well; if I am right, they suffered severe caustic reaction from it, and that can even result in death (quite painfully, too).

How terrible to film and then laugh at two animals in clear distress. WTF is wrong with you people? How is this funny?
Maybe they were doing so for evidence? Or they actually didn’t know the bears were in distress.

I honestly can’t tell what is happening here. They could be miserable, or they might be having fun with it like catnip or something. Until I see the full video I just don’t know.
Either way, I’m about 90% sure it’s really bad for them, but if they are enjoying it, it’s not as horrifying. It would be like laughing at a drugged hobo.
It looks like white paint to me. Paint pail on the right and the lid in the back. Not sure why it would stick it head in that stuff though.
1. Paint barrels don’t look like this.
2. Quicklime resembles thick white paint.
3. It also causes severe caustic damage.
Many animals of species without sweat glands (e.g. dogs) have to be put down because of falling into pits of quicklime in developing nations. It is a great shame… =(

I remember seeing the rest of this video somewhere, it is set somewhere in Eastern Europe (i dont remember which country) and they had to shoot one of the bears right afterwards. So they kind of did the right thing for one of the bears. The other one ran away into the woods.

That’s what I thought as well (quicklime); that’s a terrible shame. =( It’s really awful, because it causes severe caustic damage and even death.

Maybe you could take it (being a hunter you probably had to slit some throats or skin some animals), but i dont think most people could take the little one being shot on the floor, and its certainly not appropriate content for this site.
Just a fyi, would you want to go and help bears who are freaking the hell out like that. If you try to help odds are they will attack you, so to you people going “poor bears” I hope if you do help them they don’t attack out of fear and pain from the chems on their face.
