» 24 Failures in Communication

  1. Fatefinger says:

I had to read that a couple times to get it.

  2. John says:

Unfortunately IRL that is exactly how it is nowadays! :)

  3. MNM says:

You just hate me because I’m BLU

  4. but spies are the same color as my team… so… SHOOT THEM ALL!

  5. Cool Face says:

Personally I always prioritise the Demoman first, I’m not racist but he is the worst class.

    • Obligatory Terrible Joke Man says:

No. Demoman is a very good class, and very powerful, but if you’re presented with the choice:

      Shoot.
      The.
      Medic.
      First.

Spies are also high priority, because you might not get another chance to kill one before he turns invisible, disguises as one of your teammates, or backstabs you.

An engineer, either alone or with a sentry, should be killed before he can upgrade his sentry to level three. A well-placed level three sentry is extremely difficult to take down without a good spy or an ubercharge (and the pyros who hang around engineers can be a threat to both).

  6. kkm says:

Both statements are logically equivalent in the context of the game, but the supposedly incorrect one is more concise and easier to understand. The fail of the OP seems rather imaginary.

  7. negative pi says:

    Shoot ALL the Demomen!

  8. Muhanoid says:

Ok. I really do not get it. Sentences are equal and looking at your gloves before you start shooting everything around is a good idea.

    Then where is fail?

    • MostlyGreatMostOf The Time says:

It’s a bit contrived but the fail is that if someone took the second sentence out of context …

However, it’s no more of a fail than is saying “shoot anyone who comes into the room” in the context of a game in case someone applies the instruction to real life.

      • Muhanoid says:

Oh. Then second sentence is “Shoot every demoman you see”. Now i get it. Thanks =)
And if player is Demoman: Shoot everyone. Because 90% there is only 1 demoman in team.

  9. Mettan says:

As a Pyro, just burn everyone. They could be a Spy.

  10. John says:

Can’t you guys see? It’s a racist remark!

  11. asd says:

shoot people who try to be clever with contrived posts

  12. Franpa says:

Unless the game involves more then 2 teams, both sentences are valid.

  13. Obligatory Terrible Joke Man says:

    FAIL.

That poor guy probably went around shooting at the other team, getting backstabbed and being made fun of in YouTube videos about f2p n00bs who can’t spycheck.

    Here’s how to play tf2:

Shoot everyone, regardless of color. If they bleed, they’re the enemy. Keep shooting them until they die. If they’re shirt is a different color than yours and they don’t bleed anyway, then:
If they’re shiny and glowing, they’re ubercharged. Run the hell away for few seconds, eventually it will wear off and you can kill them.
If they’re blurry, they’re a scout using Bonk! Atomic Punch. Same thing as ubercharge, except that it’s really hard to run away from a scout.
    If they’re two-dimensional, stop shooting, you moron. That isn’t a player, that’s a spray.
Otherwise, you’ve either got a glitch or a hacker.

    • K says:

If they’re shiny and glowing and they have a different color shirt then it might mean that a friendly medic has ubercharged an enemy spy who just removed his disguise. Then, you shouldn’t run the hell away.

  14. Cargetter says:

    Spah sappin mah context!
    Mmmmph
    Spaspaspaspas

  15. Fatswimdude says:

    Poor Demoman…
