Official word from creators of Sesame Street is that Bert and Ernie are just friends and have no sexual orientation because THEY ARE CHARACTERS IN A CHILDREN’S SHOW therefore sex related content is not appropriate. Also, Ernie sometimes sings and has displayed affections of fondness twards women. My childhood remains unripped by warped minds of perverts. What next, you gonna tell me Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are an item?

Considering Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy have “been together” for as long as they have existed, they’re either stupid or a troll. Unless of course you’re wanting to say that they aren’t “together” which just means that Sesame Street has a character that is a stalking, molesting, psychotic. Personally, I’d rather Bert and Ernie come out of the closet, than have Miss Piggy be a molesting psychopath.
