if that’s a legal move, then why would anyone even go downfield when the goalie has possession of the ball? Shouldn’t they just mob the shit out of him and keep scoring over and over again?
Something tells me this goal didn’t count. If it did, I suddenly like soccbol a lot less.
It’s only considered off sides if the ball is in the position of the attacking team to begin with. This isn’t offsides, it’s poor defense….in the sense that the goalie didn’t have enough situational awareness to realize that an attacker was still behind him.
You’re only offside if a player on your own team passes the ball to you in an offside position.
If the ball is played by the opposing team, the rule is not applicable.
And you can’t take the ball out of the goalie’s hands. It’s only because he chose to put in on the floor that the player was able to take it.
And what do you suggest mankind should play ?? Golf ??? Or maybe PRO-Wrestling ??? How about swimming ???
No way, we should all get a ball shaped in the form of an egg, wear g@y-@$$ foam filled protectors on the shoulders, helmets and shoes and run around a rectangular field holding the ball and intermittently dry-humping your teammates and/or your opponents….
Let’s called THAT football….
Dumb@$$ American, srsly, go back to the White House and ask for change from the black man you think isn’t an American….
Futsal. Seriously. Fun to watch, fun to play, and more practical… overall just a much better version of the sport. Soccer/football… the hugeass field reduces the real action besides just being impractically large for most people to actually have access to. And the overall lack of scoring puts too much importance on the officiating and, when it comes down to it, luck, considering how often a shootout is required.
Gridiron football is a manager’s sport perhaps more than any other. If you’ve failed to recognize the intellectual aspect of the sport, then you’ve never really watched an American football game.
Maybe someone should do their math before opening their mouth. A Soccer field is about the same size as a football field, only fewer players. Football is basically the Americanized version of Soccer because Americans needed a game all their own so they coined someone else’s idea and changed a few things about it, as they always have through history.
Maybe if you got off your fat lazy American butt and learned a few things before trying to spew out your ethnocentric ideas and beliefs you’d save yourself the trouble of looking like exactly what you are; an ignorant, dumb, American.
That was absolutely not offside. If you know the rules, offside is when a player pass the ball to another player IN THE SAME TEAM. Since the goalie is on the oposite team than the scorer, then offside does not count.
Same rules goes to when a defender pass the ball back to goalie but attacker in the oposite team who is in offside position steal the ball. That is also not offside.
This is my city’s team and I will remember that night and the shame we suffered like…forever. My friends and I were watching the game in a bar and you could hear the screams calling names to our own players from every corner of the street.By the way, we started winning the game, so double shame on us.
Even the announcer is all, “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!” I don’t care what language you speak, that’s funny!
beat me to it ,lololololololololol
that’s spanish and it is GOLGOLGOLGOLGOLGOL
i am sure, he says “ololololololololololololol”
I’m crowning here……can I get some help please ?
This is a time when the goalie wasnt thinking,”Watch your back.”LOL

You can’t mob the goalie. That would be a foul. If you watch, you’ll see that he didn’t touch the goalie.
if no one goes downfield the goalie will just dropkick the ball to his players
Wasn’t the player off sides?
That’s what I was thinking … how is this not offsides?

AHOOOOOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Isn’t this a “Looking behind you fail” and not a “Coming from behind you fail”?
Wouldn’t that be Sanitorum fail?
Do you mean sanitarium or perhaps Santorum? Either way, you’re not really kind are you little troll?
Is shit like that even legal in soccer or football or futbal or whatever?
Yes, it is.
Hehehe, lolololol.
Lol, is that even game legal?
Sure it is, The communication between the goalie and his teammates sucks
Once the ball is on the ground, it’s fair game.
It’s not legal. The other player was offsides. If it’s counted it’s a ref fail.
It is not offside… Gollie passed the ball, so not an offside.. This is legal goal
Only ball passed by teammate can be offside
Coming up from behind WIN, you mean.
Knowing what’s coming up from behind you FAIL, is also an option.
Sure it’s legal in this situation.
Raul also did this last season for Schalke 04 <3
Ronaldo scored a similar goal at the very beginning of his career, when he used to play in Cruzeiro.
people still play this archaic game? if you ask me, it’s a fail of the human race.
Yeah, they should be posting comments about it on failblog!
no.

And even though only 1 country plays it we’ll claim that it is proper football!!
Two countries, though one of them has no idea the other exists.

Say what you will, I found this particular comment funny in its own, special way. Really calls for a “Not sure if …” Fry face.

In other news: RADADADADADADADADADA!
that was a disastrous day for goalie. 4 goals in 6 minutes and conceded couple more in 2nd half.
He says:
¡Ojo! ¡GOL-GOL-GOL-GOL-GOL…!
Which means:
Watch out! GOAL-GOAL-GOAL-GOAL-GOAL…!
PS: That was a very young and unexperienced goalkeeper. Horrible night for him.
offside, thats a spain fail
It’s not offside. Learn the rules before complaining.
This one was also legal, and the goalkeeper was even bouncing the ball:

Heres another cheeky one
You just know those 2 at the end faked injuries during their celebratory fall like usual. Drama class with a ball.
It was cool until they showed those f***ing stupid rage faces…
you wrong guys , he was
