If it’s at an intersection, then there should be two separate signs; One on each road. Not one for both roads. Otherwise, how are you supposed to know which road which sign applies to?

then again, if you were driving around looking for parking wouldn’t you like to know where you can park before you make a turn?
I think it just means that you can park only at that sign. You have to line it up with the middle of your vehicle.
