  1. I wonder if the Mex is any good ?

    • yourfukedmom says:

F U, is tastier than your mom’s ass and the greasy american food together PUTO

      • So that’s a yes or ?

        • schroedinger's lolcat says:

Aside from trolling, he is saying that american food sucks. This is funny in that he says ‘greasy’ american food, but I’ve had quite a bit of authentic mexican (no, not from so called authentic restaurants) and alot of it is very greasy, especially chorizo, which I love, and most american foods are not greasy. Except when prepared in a lousy way.

          • AllGreatAllTheTime says:

I enjoy Mexican food… and it’s usually great!

          • Bad News Larry says:

Actually I much prefer Americanized Mexican food found in So Cal, this is after trying more traditional Mexican food in southern Arizona. But regarding this poll, Chinese Mexican fusion is a real thing and they have it in Tucson AZ where I live now.

  2. Mexican food is made out of Chinese! That explains a lot.

  3. Avis: Goddess of Funny says:

Ironically sometimes the best regional food is found in a place that specializes in an entirely different regional food.

  4. hc says:

    Chexican!

  5. The Graphite says:

We have their sister restaurant right here in Denver, minutes away from where I love. “Madrid Restaurant” serves Chinese food!

Someone has a dream of someday opening a restaurant. They decide they will serve Chinese food. So they name it . . . Madrid???

  6. Nosehair says:

    so then
its mexican food , made out of chinese people O.o :D ……

  7. schrodinger's lolcat says:

Well, I guess turn about is fair play. I don’t know how many times I’ve been to a Chinese restaurant that was staffed almost entirely by those of Hispanic persuasion, thanking God I had the foresight to learn some Spanish in my life.

  8. Randy says:

There used to be a restaurant in Honolulu called Goldstein’s Mexican Restaurant.

  9. Duvey says:

    We call this Chexican!

    i guess i’m boring.

  11. Señor Tofu says:

There used to be a place in Menlo Park that made excellent Moo Shu Pork Burritos.

    • dRattman says:

Menlo Park, the mall, or Menlo Park Terrace, NJ?
(‘Cause I’m from there… but just don’t remember it).

      • dRattman says:

‘From’ meaning I lived there for a while.

      • Señor Tofu says:

Menlo Park, California. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I wish I could remember the name of that place. It was a small hotdog place that was run by a chinese husband & wife. When they added chinese food & burritos to the menu it did really well.

      • Sarge says:

You don’t remember where you grew up?

  12. Smith says:

There really is a Mexican-Chinese restaurant in Phoenix, AZ. Check out the website….
    http://chinobandido.com/

  13. Bluesummers says:

Go to Taco King in Hamden, Connecticut. Interesting teriyaki chicken quesadillas. And a buddha statue with a sombrero in the restaurant.

    • lowlypawn says:

Damn used to live in Wallingford CT, went to Eli’s, Sushi Palace, and East Melange (before it was shut down by the health dept) in Hamden. Never saw taco king. Sounds interesting. Is it on dixwell?

  14. KD says:

There are a lot of Chinese-Peruvian restaurants by me and their food is awesome.

Ah yes, that is in Carlsbad, NM hilarious.

  17. VolcanoTX says:

Reminds of a restaurant that used to be in San Antonio called Wok-a-Mole. It was a Chinese/Mexican buffet.

  22. Pelos says:

Just so that you know, the city of Mexicali, in Mexico, borders with Calexico, CA (remember the Easter earthquake), is a city known for its Chinese food and carne asada tacos. So in that particular instance, this picture would not be a fail, it would be a fact.

  23. trutheau says:

One of the best restaurants in the US is China Poblano: http://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/taste/restaurant-collection/china-poblano.aspx

It’s a wicked fusion menu. Chef Jose Andres is maybe the best working chef in the US right now.

  24. bill says:

There was a place… They did Mexican, Chinese, and Hot Dogs. Their “Mu shu pork burrito” was REALLY GOOD.
