My reason for asking was that I could send you a copy, I have a few of them for some reason. But it will only play if your player will accept disks from other countries, not all of them do.
My cupboard is bursting, we have hundreds of the things. I miss the days of VHS when the screen would flick between color and black n’ white because I’d watched my favourite film over and over again.
I’ve almost replaced all my favourite movies that I had on VHS as a kid with DVDs. I got Aladdin and An American Tail on DVD few years ago and recently got Beauty and the Beast on Blu-Ray. Our Blu-Ray collection (whilst not as big) is also starting to get out of hand.
Oh, I have plenty. I’m not sure how I ended up with multiple copies, but gimme a list of one’s you’d like (via fb2) and if I have more than one of ‘em, I’ll send them to you.
Montage.
Where can I get this on a t-shirt?
Hi Torch!
I NEVER see you these days!
I hardly see him either, so it is great when I do!
As it’s great to bump into you!!
AllGreat…
AllGreat ??
*sigh*
I love it when your bumps bump into me.
At last we meet!
How’s your hump day?
My hump day is going great! How is yours?
crossover much?
cross dresser much?
and what is supposed to be funny here?
I was afraid to ask the same question..
looks shopped
What does Flik from A Bug’s Life have anything to do with this?
That’s the point.
And the triceratops….
and the owl from Labrinth.
There’s just so much to love
You sure that’s not Hedwig?
Are we looking at the bird in flight that looks like an eagle?
Pheonix*
No, the owl over Harry’s head.
Got it.
Yes, I vote Hedvig.
That still doesn’t explain the Bugs Life ant.
p.s I’ve not seen Bugs Life in years. I must watch it. It was like one of my first DVDs we ever got. (Godzilla was the first).
Probably, but David Bowie was really good in Labrynth.
You remind me of the babe…
What babe?
The babe with the power.
What power?
The power of voo-doo!
Who do.
You do!!
*applause*
That’s all I know without having to look it up on the internets
Pssst, your next line is “Do what?”
And then my reply is
“Remind me of the babe!”
What baby?
This ends now. It does not go on adinfinitum.
Because that’s a word?
It is.
a great word
Look it up.
(I had to, to make sure I had spelled it correctly, spellchecker doesn’t seem to know it but google does)
means: to go on forever
I’m something of a word nerd.
It’s ad infinitum *troll face*
And it is a great word. If only David Bowie songs did last ‘ad infinitum’.
it’s from latin, right?
I found it listed as one word.
The babe in the movie!
^ Not getting the joke fail
But, the baby in the LAbyrinth movie.
We’re trading lines from that movie.
Oh!!!!
Victo no see da movie.
Victo live in da boonies of Quebec.
Does Victo have a DVD player that can play disks from anywhere in the world? An open region player as it were?
You like David Bowie though? Here, enjoy woundervul music.
victo has to go shopping on amazon.
and stop speaking in the 3rd person
*sugar hugz victo to comfort her*
Living in the middle of nowhere is not the end of the world *no pun intended*
Bowie is as great as F.Mercury!!
My reason for asking was that I could send you a copy, I have a few of them for some reason. But it will only play if your player will accept disks from other countries, not all of them do.
That was a good one, Sugar
Wow, thanks Avis!!
Ah…..I’m guessing I’m region 1.
Like the States.
Multi-region players seem to be commonplace. Just depends if you have a Dixons or Curry’s near you.
Then it should be no problem.
Have you seen City of Lost Children? I seem to have a few copies of that too.
Is that the one with Ron Perlman?
Wow!
No!
Very interested!!!
Funny, we never thought of talking dvds…..
Thank you Avis!!
My cupboard is bursting, we have hundreds of the things. I miss the days of VHS when the screen would flick between color and black n’ white because I’d watched my favourite film over and over again.
Yes, when there was a crinkle in the ribbon!
We still have a decent number of videos.
Mostly the Disney’s to be used for kid no 2

I can only assume that blurays will be replaced by yet something else……
Oh, I have plenty. I’m not sure how I ended up with multiple copies, but gimme a list of one’s you’d like (via fb2) and if I have more than one of ‘em, I’ll send them to you.
Done.
But tricky.
