I don’t think there’s anything remarkable about the video. Kids get frustrated and they very often respond physically. They throw something or stomp on something. I don’t see that the kid is being a brat. He’s just being a kid. Like I said, he’ll very likely grow out of it.
It is not good either though. His mom shouldn’t buy him another so he learns not to do that.
Fortunate to break it there rather than landing on it on a jump. I suspect the board was intentionally sawed to the near point of breaking so they could try to post a vid on such a site as this rather gullible one.
I suspect if that were the case there would have been a more dramatic reaction on the part of the kid.

I’ve actually done this sort of thing before. Obviously, you can’t think straight when you’re angry, so you do some things you might rather not do. I don’t really think this is much of a fail.
Obviously you can’t think straight when you’re angry? I didn’t realize that missing a landing on a skateboard could send people into a blind rage.
The point is…the camera is a still shot and there is no secondary reaction, which means, HE set up the camera, on a tripod, by himself, to try and get a good shot of something he’s obviously been practicing for a very long time. Chances are this was the 25th take in the last hour before he broke the board. It is also the last take of the whole day, meaning that not only did he did he break his board, but he also effectively did all the work for nothing. Most likely he was trying to prove something to a buddy who was out of town, got frustrated after repetitive failure, and finally got angry enough to falcon kick his skateboard. The reaction on the part of the kid is either 100% genuine, or this kid needs to be signed in Hollywood yesterday.
But having been a skateboarding kid, i guarantee he just made himself some epic wall art for his room.
The camera is clearly moving so it’s not tripod, sou you’re story dosen’t make sense.
