It was not so obvious for me.
First thought is normal one: paintings usually have dates and some other data at the back.
Took me time to understand that people think of looking at the front side of her chest.
I want to know about your WHOLE week end!
I would like to know what you DID.
What you ate.
Who you saw.
What you wish hadn’t happened and what you wish hadn’t stopped!!
Oh, a fav city of mine! Esp when they thought I was just a dymb American (by the way I tried to say “Allo”) but didn’t know I could understand their French perfectly. At the time they really hated Americansl. Do they still?
@Susan :Gee, I’m sorry they gave you the impression of hating Americans…. I don’t know when you were there….?
Allo was a good way to break ice, I’m sure a lot of people would enjoy hearing somebody try out their language They would have rapidly clued in that they must then switch to English.
I’m in Québec, but the province……I’m hours by car from Québec City, but it IS a lovely place!
Where’s the fail? Obviously checking for secret hidden safe or if Mr. Bean had replaced the real painting with a poster stuck together with gum and a glaze of eggs. Not happy Failblog.
Do you see any date, name, author… displayed around the painting?
Are they at the back?
Or catalog number and such things?
Back sides of more significant paintings usually also have authenticity confirmation stamps, reproductions have serial numbers and number of copies…
We are not all just trolls, you know.
He is obviously thinking about date of painting, painter’s name, or any useful info usually located at the back.
His style tells me that he has several original paintings at home.
It’s funny because he’s old and that is a painting
That is what makes this great! No fail here!
Yes he is checking to see if it is an Upper Canada Frame.
I’m sure it’s a great frame! No fail there!
You are a no fail here!.LOL hey Agatt.
Thanks Mastertorch! Did you have a great weekend!
I had a great weekend, no one ever asks me
thats because nobody cares. now get outta here before I smack you in the face with a stray cat.
Too obvious, obvious.
It was not so obvious for me.

Wasn’t obvious to me cause the “beautiful” painting looked like a guy or a transy

I am glad to hear you had a great weekend! I’ll try to ask you every Monday, okay?
A great policy in the making!
We should all adhere to this great policy! *kisses Victo on the cheek*
I live in Québec, so by habit I’ll kiss you on BOTH cheeks!!
Oh, a fav city of mine! Esp when they thought I was just a dymb American (by the way I tried to say “Allo”) but didn’t know I could understand their French perfectly. At the time they really hated Americansl. Do they still?
I think I like this great custom

@Great: it is a fun custom
*kiss, kiss*
I totally agree, i think its an AD.
perhaps a depth perception fail…
My dog did something similar to this. We all had a great laugh!
this is win,not fail
Totally a win, agree.
or a troll
I can tell by the pixels that this was obviously staged…
… having seen a few paintings in my time
You are correct sir.
Vogue. 1994. This is a channel comercial.
Offcourse it is not real, who would make a photo from that angle, when you see something like this.
But anyway it’s funny !
Right, that’s why it doesn’t belong on this site.
Fail fail.
so.. this seems to be the internet everyone is talking about?
wow, this pic is older than the guy in it!
Where’s the fail? Obviously checking for secret hidden safe or if Mr. Bean had replaced the real painting with a poster stuck together with gum and a glaze of eggs. Not happy Failblog.
Love Mr. Bean! Great folks on this site!!
What’s the fail here, again?
More like FAIL uppload… Not like it’s real
seriously? we need to explain?
No fail, but a great win!
Sense of humor fail.
Boils my blood. I would beat the crap out of him… Disrespectful old bum.
My troll sensor is about to explode.
Have you not upgraded to the newest model? It has Explosion Avoidance Technology, or EAT.
so thats where the word eat originated from

Not necessary Pacifix. Some of the old paintings are microchip in the edge of the canvas/frame now.
Hey it’s a win for the old guy to be even THINKING about naked women at his age lol.
We are not all just trolls, you know.
He is obviously thinking about date of painting, painter’s name, or any useful info usually located at the back.
His style tells me that he has several original paintings at home.
Learn to have fun on here Pacifix.LOL I do agree with you on that he does have original paintings.
I’m John Benjamin, and I have a van.
Why is this now the newest fail on Failblog?
1. Find old, and clearly set up, stock photo.
2. Post on Failblog
3. ????
4. Profit!
3. Safety
The general demeanor of his post and his amnesia pertaining to “safety third” suggests that Phredd is jealous of the old man.
Jealousy is a horrible thing.
So is this painting apparently.
Oh wait, you said “horrible.”
*squeeze*
*Squeezes back*
This was an ad for a french ISP (Wanadoo, now Orange). Absolutely no fail there…
This is clearly a win.
Stupid submission. Not a real life fail. It was obviously staged.
not a fail. While very amusing, it is obviously staged. Clearly not fail.
Did you know, there are paintings like that, where the artist did the front of the girl on the other side of the painting?
and you know because…
