either way he seems really hurt at which point it is no longer funny. he is motionless on the ground so even if this could qualify as a lol, the last bit totally disqualifies it.

I posted this here. The carrier got out of the truck but never fully put it in Park, or put the parking brake on. He got knocked down but not run over. All letter carriers had to watch this for an example of what NOT to do! I believe the carrier was suspended for this. I still don’t know how the hell the truck made it between the tree and the car the first time around! BTW-I added the Benny Hill Theme…it was not on the original instruction video…but it somehow fit perfectly! Thanks for watching!!!

Geez, if only he could’ve gotten to it in the first revolution it would’ve been cool sh*t. Gott admit though, this could’ve been a hell of a lot worse. At worst now a car has bender. No prob, company pays for that and worker gets chewed out, at worst, fire. At least no people were seriously injured. At least, from our view of the footage.
No, he definitely got fired. Rollaway/runaway accidents are automatic dismissals, and the Union won’t even bother trying to grieve them.
The NRLCA will at least make a go of it, I know that much for a fact. City carriers’ union might be less tenacious (or at just less optimistic).

Hey, they cut off the end, where the truck smacks into the parked car and stops, and the frantic owner runs outside, and the fire trucks and the cops show up!
Not kidding — they showed us that video the other morning at the post office where I work. District management sent it to all the supervisors!

There’s something to learn about steering gear here: if you release the steering wheel, the steering will automatically return to center – that’s if you’re driving forward. Of course, when reversing, the opposite happpens. I see this as a great educational movie for mechanical engineers.

Another site showed more, as always some sites only show what there want! He got up and the police arrived the truck stopped after another go around. Wasn’t his fault, the truck was probably put in to park and fell out! How do I know, I worked in the Post Office for 46+ years, worse things than that happened before everyone had webcams all over the place.
