» 25 Failures in Communication

  1. Brian-M says:

    No Smoking
    No Dogs
    No Comments

Damn, just ruined that last one.

  2. dennett316 says:

Hmmm, does the one huge NO cost less than two normal size NO’s? Either way, not a fail or oddly specific.

    • Matt says:

It is a fail, because they didn’t want us to picture a dog walking in with a cig in its gob. Or a man walking in with a dog in his mouth, breathing in through its anus with its face on fire. But we are doing now…

      • jaymze says:

but…but… i love the warm rich flavorful taste of an all natural dog anus stogy. just sucks when you get the little bits from the tail end in your mouth..

  3. Argus says:

    Failblog fails AGAIN!

  4. punto says:

i’ll take a piece of that vomit pie though.

  5. Gojira says:

The sign obviously reads No Smoking and No Dogs, but their choice to combine them into a list next to a large No also reads No Smoking Dogs.

I feel bad for everyone who can’t giggle at that and feels the need to write that this is not a fail. Please remove your head from your own ass and develop a sense of humor….oh wait, my bad, I forgot. This is the internet, you’re only allowed to have a sense of humor ironically here.

    • ok says:

I’m sure most people who say this isn’t a fail saw why it’s funny. A fail implies that the business made a sign that clearly read “No Smoking Dogs.” It can easily be read as both, but the only fail is thinking they don’t like dogs who smoke.

      • tor2ga says:

No, people who claim that it’s not a fail just want others to believe that their humour is just too sophisticated to even see the smallest bit of humour in smoking dogs not being allowed in.

        • IceColdTroll says:

Any man who allows there dog to smoke should be arrested for animal cruelty! Tobacco is bad for all kinds of animals! Especially little dogs like pugs and Bostin Terriers have breathing issues to begin with, and your going to complicate it by giving them Black Lung Disaese? Shame on you!

        • derp says:

I don’t have sophisticated humor at all, and this isn’t funny. It’s also obviously not a fail, because everyone knows what it means. If it read, “No smoking dogs” all on one line, then yes, that’s a fail. But signs like this exist everywhere; I’ve seen 5 things listed vertically after a “No” sign before. They’re clearly not meant to be read as one item.

  6. Boyd says:

The fail is to the right of the picture.. the reflection of the dude taking the pic

  7. LizA says:

Will they make an exception if the dog just had sex?

  8. Cheese says:

Does that mean smoking dogs are not allowed or am i not allowed to smoke dogs?

  9. Aldebaran says:

    ooooh, what a cute fail :) )

  10. Joe Soap says:

In Portmarnock Golf Club in Dublin there is a sign at the door “No dogs or women allowed”

  11. zoffski says:

pukka-pies? you puke yr own pies?… that was really lame
    *hangs himself*

    • Neoqueto says:

Lol I don’t actually remember, but I heard that I was drunk once on a friend’s party and I puked on his dog.

      Dog = pies, Polish.

    • Viverra says:

Am I the only one who has read enough old Agatha Christie novels to know the term “pukka sahib”, meaning “proper gentleman” and think of that first instead of puking? I’m going to hazard a guess that’s probably what was intended anyway…

  12. Mez says:

    Ok.

This is weird – I live right next to a shop that has the exact same thing… and attempted to take a picture, but due to the bright writing, it didn’t come out right.. It’s a different shop though – at mine it actually says “No smoking dogs”
