Honestly, the stupidity isn’t if this is shopped or not but that everyone but me doesn’t seem to know a skull used to be a common medical symbol a long time ago.
So it may be a tad archaic and of course it’s an advertisement anyways but it wasn’t actually a fail either.
Well… I tried to find the skull as a medical symbol.. all I find is the aesculape, and the skull as a sign of either something being toxic or really dangerous.
Well given how much US medical care costs I vote that we bring back the skull and crossbones to use as a symbol
They are perhaps the most vicious pirates in the world afterall, accounting for more deaths, robbery and looting than every other pirate in the world combined
Shut up all of you now. West wood medical is right by UCLA I go there every half year or less and they always are advertising the latest movie on that wall every time. So shut it.
Yeah people in the comments sections here are such major tools. EVERYTHING is a photoshop to them. They think they’re experts on photoshop detection or something but they clearly have no idea.
I actually took a picture of this back on March 25th- and posted on my FB page because I thought it was a little brazen. I was on my way to Cedars. This is a real advertisement… The placement is obviously in bad taste… I found it more comical than offensive, but absolutely silly nonetheless.
Note the picture of an “alice in wonderland” ad on the building. Those who can actually read might be amused by the text of the article, which describes how one rich guy wants to build a tall building that would block the supposedly “fake” building’s supergraphic. The developer of the new building might need to pay the owner of the other building for lost revenue from ugly posters. But I guess if it is fake, it wouldn’t matter if someone blocked the view, right?
Guys this is literally 5 minutes from my house. Google Maps: Westwood Medical Plaza. Westwood, CA. The ad is for the new Pirates of the Carribean movie.
I live 20 minutes from here.Westwood, CA on the corner of Santa Monica blvd. and Westwood Blvd. Google Maps if you dont believe me. The ad is for the new Pirates of the Carribean movie. The words were never added because it began to rain and the workers putting it up had to come down. NOT SHOOPED
Im sorry but the sign MAY BE real but this image IS SHOPPED (and its not the FAIL or the failblog.org watermark that i mean) you can CLEARLY see a very big difference between the sign and the rest of the picture….either this or whoever took this picture had a very weird camera and was in very weird conditions (weather wise)
Fail*st

……..not working, I’m way too literal I think
Use the carats, the same keys that your comma and period are on.
Like (pre) words go here (/pre) with the pointy things instead of parentheses.
there seems to be a great lack of words in my comment…
>is it this?<
crap.
Look at the comment you replied to. The carats need to go in the same directions as you see the parentheses.
kno’ wh’ m sayin’?
cool!
Don’t forget to close your tags when you use them!
Sorry, I don’t explain as well as Avis the Great! (see below)
Actuall, above… Avis the Great’s instructions are much clearer!

FAKE the “WESTWOOD MEDICAL” is photoshoped
Still, I wish someone had the stones to do that for real. Would be a guaranteed way of getting the ad noticed!
If anything was shopped, it was the ad. Here’s the building:

Funny, if it wasn’t an obvious fake.

Yeah. Sorry, Gert, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Also, this is a photoshop so your point is moot.
Think of poison labels. They likely STILL have a skull and cross bones on them.
Well given how much US medical care costs I vote that we bring back the skull and crossbones to use as a symbol

Shut up all of you now. West wood medical is right by UCLA I go there every half year or less and they always are advertising the latest movie on that wall every time. So shut it.
This is not a photoshop, drive by it everyday going to UCLA…

Watch out, I think that hospital might be poisonous.

Come on it’s not fake. Here’s a great article about the area:

Um, sorry to disagree, but I think it WAS shooped. If you look closely, you can see Salt-n-Pepa in the corner of the picture.
corner of wilshire and gayley, but same area…. not shopped, passed it about 20 mins ago….

Not photoshopped. I drive by that stupid poster everyday on my way to UCLA. I have plenty of time to ponder it as I sit in traffic on Wilshire Blvd.
Yea, I go to UCLA. Me and my friend laughed at it earlier today
