Not being familiar with fashion/theater lingo is hardly a fail. Why is it that no one can offer a gracious correction without acting all pompous? The interwebs has made us all feel we have to know exactly the same things as everyone else.

Yes and I lol’d more before I watched the video, wondering what a catwalk had to do with a belly face, than at the actual video, although I did think the model looked silly, especially when I re-watched it after reading Saixan’s comment.

Catwalks are a pain to modern society.
I’d say first and foremost, catwalks are a pain to that particular model.
One of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen was during last winter. A girl in high heeled boots ( well stiletto heeled would be a more accurate description ) trying to walk on an icy path that had not been salted / gritted with arms outstretched trying trying to keep herself balanced.Talk about a broken ankle waiting to happen!

This isn’t too funny… I mostly feel bad for her. She could have broken both her ankles, and probably sprained them. The shoes look ridiculous to begin with, plus the products put on runway shows are all “standard” sizes and don’t fit all the models.
And we are expected to like them and wear them.
I hate what these fashion people try to do to women.

ugh, why do designers make the models wear shoes THAT hard to walk in? I mean, yeah, I get the artistry part of it, but they shouldn’t risk sprained & broken ankles for it!
(& yes, the models have a choice to wear them or not, but then they’re out of a job if they won’t do the job. whatever, I still think it’s stupid.)
I like how they all edge forward and then start clapping as shes falling ;D haha!
