Erm, I just compared my photo to this photo more carefully, and, well, this is not my picture. Mine was more in the evening and taken with poor light, so it is fuzzier. Unless someone did some nice CSI-like photo editing, someone else took a pic of the same soda fountain in brighter light (up to the same curly bit on the “new flavor”) and posted here.

My 12 year old son, Evan, sent this and is a regular reader. He found it at the McDonalds in Pleasanton, CA. Not a fake. Would love to see him get credit – he’s incredibly psyched to see it posted.
…and, I take it partially back. This is very similar to our pic, but isn’t ours. I’m going to guess this is a mass fail on McDonalds side, and multiple submissions have been sent in from different restaurants. Viva la fail!
