» 64 Failures in Communication

  1. Theevilpplz says:

Last time I checked, Jesus was a legitimate mexican name.

    • Darty says:

The failure is: “Jesus is the abbreviated form of the original Hebrew Yehoshuáh, or whatever it is, Joshua”, it is not a mexican name so far, it is an hebrew name.

  2. Snake says:

Specify the failure in this picture.

    • randomdude666 says:

      Jesus.

    • brettski says:

specify the failure in this comment

    • Hmm says:

Are people really that stupid, i mean seriously?

      • gretchen82 says:

        Apparently, incredibly stupid.

Jesus is a popular hispanic name, not only in Mexico, but in most contries with a strong catholic formation, since God/Jesus/Holy Ghost is the most important religious icon (The Holy Trinity).

And, by the way, that’s what we celebrate on Christmas night… the birth of Jesus… TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO! (Get it, now? America was discovered only FIVE HUNDRED years ago).

        • Magnet says:

Well, if Jesus has a Mexican name and America was discovered only 500 years ago, then it shows that the Mormons were right all along and America is in fact where Christianity all started. How else would Jesus have a Mexican name?

        • some dude says:

holy ghost??? wtf, btw, there is evidence that vikings arrived at america before columbus, btw, there is evidence that men arrived at america when it was still connected to russia by alaska, when, either, the sea level was very low or during one of the many ice ages that we had, so the term “discovered” its not what we’d call “accurate”, more like “re-discovered” or “just told the world the fing truth”

    • Petruza says:

The biblical Jesus was Jewish (from Judea) and hence had a hebrew name, which is “yeshu’a” written in the Roman alphabet.
Almost every language has a version of translation of that name. Spanish just happens to have a very common male name which is Jesús, but the biblical Jesus did not have a spanish name, basically because the spanish language was inveted a thousand years after his death.
Moreover, there aren’t Mexican names, Mexican is not a language, Spanish is the official language in Mexico, so mexicans usually have spanish names, or from other origins.
You could consider names from aboriginal languages such as Nahuatl as true Mexican names, but certainly not Jesus.

      • commander epic says:

so there are ‘juan’s and ‘pedro’s in spain? those sound pretty mexican to me.

        • hymenoxis says:

King Juan Carlos and Pedro Almodovar come to mind…

        • BaconSupremeLulz says:

Well, Juan, Pedro, Jesus, Jose, all those are SPANISH names. When ppl finally understand that Mexico speaks Spanish and that Spanish comes from Spain, which is a country in Europe… then less problems would arise due to ignorance. As said before, Mexican is not a language, there are many many many indigenous languages and sub-dialects in Mexico though; Europeans didnt “discover” America, they came to conquer, steal and rape the ppl that were already here.

Commander Epic, you are an idiot.

        • Beth says:

          Oh my God…

  3. Shortstock24 says:

i like ‘why does jesus have to be god’.
    sounds like a 5 year olds question…

  4. Riddle says:

It is, but it’s pronounced like Hay-zoos or something isn’t it?

  5. HaCkeR says:

Jesus’s Name Was Before Mexico Was Founded.

  6. AaA says:

How people can search those stupid questions?

“why does Jesus have a long hair”
“why does Jesus have blue eyes”

  7. Tobi says:

The mexican is not a failure, since Jesus is a common name there, though the origin of the name Jesus is hebrew. The Spanish one, is a fail, though.. SO FAIL TO THE ONE THAT UPLOADED THIS, AND THE ONES WHO THUMBED IT UP..!

  8. Alan says:

But I don’t even believe in Jebus!

  9. Aaron says:

Let’s explain it clearly since some people still don’t get it. Jesus Christ was about 2000 years ago, Mexico was founded about 200 years ago, so the name Jesus was around long before Mexico even existed. Jesus certainly does not have a Mexican name, Mexicans have a Christian name – Jesus.

The Mexicans got the name from Christianity, however they pronounce it differently than us English speakers do because in the Spanish language “J” sounds like “H”, hence the name “Hay-sus”, or the American city “San Ho-zay” (San Jose).

    • nojesus says:

anyways, jesus hasn’t been anywhere near mexico this last couple years

    • Medardus says:

The Spanish refer to Christ as “Cristo” or “Immanuel.”

Jesus (Hey, Zeus) has nothing to do with Christianity.

“Jesus” is from the greek translation of “Yeshua,” which translates from Hebrew to “Joshua.”

Frankly, I’m more of a fan of the last autocomplete, “why does Jesus have two different genealogies.”

      • Aaron says:

You can’t translate a name, what you mean is transliterate. The frequency of the name “Jesus” in Latin America has everything to do with religion, it comes from Jesus Christ.

        • sas says:

But it’s still not a Christian name, since he was Jewish.

          • Con Man says:

Actually that is a common misconception. Jesus wasn’t really Jewish. Jewish people don’t believe that Jesus was their Messiah, yet Jesus knew that he was. Therefore, he can’t be Jewish.

    • keithybabes says:

Since God is omnipotent, he can see into the future, so he could easily give Jesus a Mexican name, by travelling back in time. Don’t you know ANYTHING?

  10. Santa says:

But Jesus is a Puerto Rican name…………

  11. MexicanCurious says:

Its a common latino and spanish name…XD

  12. deedee says:

First of all, Mexicans are Spanish, and Spain existed 1400 years after the birth of Jesus, so whoever looked for that answer is a complete moron and deserves to die

  13. paradox boy says:

it might be a fail because of the question itself, is something that a 5 year old redneck christian kid would ask

  14. rkwebs says:

hmmmmmm that is bad need search relevant

  15. SanJecinto says:

    Jesus isn’t a Mexican name, it’s a gardener’s name, so that means……. *gasp*

  16. Ryan 1579 says:

Because Mexicans are mostly Catholic and name there children after Jesus Christ. people are so stupid sometimes its sad.

  17. Ryan 1579 says:

America was not founded 500 years or discovered people have always lived here they are called Native Americans… People name there children after Jesus Christ!

  18. Gregory Goldmark says:

    Wasn’t it Yeshua

  19. Eleanor (undeadgoat) says:

The answer to most of those questions is “Because God isn’t real.” Or else “Your premises are false,” one of the two.

  20. Eleanor (undeadgoat) says:

And wow, unlike most supposed “Autocomplete fails,” this is not from comedy routine, television show, advertisement, or humor website the op has never heard of. After doing that search for myself, I actually weep for the human race for a change.

  21. Jibble says:

THESE COMMENTS HAVE TURNED ME GHEY!!!

  22. Lee says:

The answer: ’cause Jesus is THE MAN!

Or else: ’cause Jesus is Chingon!

    lololololol

    eat this Eleanor olo

  23. Sven says:

Machete to Jesus: Are you a mexican or a mexican’t?
    Jesus: I’M A MEXICAAAN

  24. BaconSupremeLulz says:

After reading so many comments I have to say this… Spain came and conquer many lands which later on became countries… these countries had Spanish culture along with other cultures as well but Spanish on the top… Is not a Mexican name, not a Puerto Rican Name, not a Dominican Name, not Cuban, Not Ecuadorian… IS SPANISH. And then Americans wonder why they are called idiots abroad… I’m American too btw, just saying.

  25. Lathon says:

blue eyes? there is absolutely NOTHING in the bible that says that he has blue eyes nor that he is god
