» 83 Failures in Communication

  1. thedicemaster says:

    seems fine to me.
exhibitionists need a place to change their clothes too right?

  2. blitzkrieg29 says:

When someone is in their and locked it blurs out so you cant see anything.

    • bob says:

Unless it fails when you’re half-naked of course.
Basic rule of electronics: they will always fail eventually.

      • Herb says:

very smart, the idea is that these windows become clear when elektricity is turned on so the molekules line up.
If they its turned of (locked) the mulekules become random => no lookilooki

        • Enuffings says:

When the electricity is turned off, the molecules stop moving. So if it’s white, it stays white.

But if someone with a strong magnet comes along … they can make the white go transparent. That’s called peeping btw.

  3. Anon says:

This isn’t a fail. The window fogs up and you can’t see through it when you lock the door. Pretty awesome in person

  4. Shipoopi says:

    voyeurism win

  5. Erica says:

Yeah, it’s not a fail. Your body heat makes it opaque once you step inside. I was in one once. It makes you very self conscious. I had to have my sister outside the dressing room assuring me that she couldn’t see me.

    • bencott says:

actually, it’s made of electrochromic glass, and the shift is triggered by a low voltage electrical charge applied to the window when the door is locked.

  6. Mel says:

I’m not sexy enough to change my clothes in there :-(

  7. RNb says:

I love these doors. Frosts when you enter for privacy, and clears back to transparent when you leave so the store people can see the booths are free and clean. WIN for retail, fail for poster.

  8. Boopkins says:

I have seen this setup in a bar, its pretty entertaining- as the night wears on, people don’t lock the door properly and the door doesnt frost over….ooops.

  9. Jefferson says:

    Pervert WIN!

  10. Esprix says:

WTF Failblog? This is LAME. The door doesn’t stay transparent. For a trendy website, you sure don’t know much about the world you live in and the technology in it. Again, LAME. (Who lets these things get posted?)

  11. the_strange_cat says:

It looks like a FAIL, but Aeropostale would have been sued long before now if they didn’t fog up…

  12. deedee says:

What if the window doesn`t change and everyone takes a peek at your cheeks?

  13. dexter says:

Aeropostale has these.. and they sure get opaque once its in use.. Who approved this for upload??!!!

  14. Me says:

We have ones like that in our mall…It changes the color of the glass when you come in.soo…Failblog Fail?

  15. yugypeerca says:

No worries, there is mirror on the other side so you don’t feel watched.

  16. steve says:

This site is getting retarded. Too many clips where people are getting seriously hurt. Not in this case though… in this case people just don’t realize that there are two panes of glass with a blind between. Failblog fail.

    • Britishism says:

Actually, noooo. It’s not a double pane window. It fogs up when you go inside and lock it. But, you’re sorta right. And also, it LOOKS funny. If you don’t think it looks funny, well okay.

  17. . says:

The real fail? That’s from Areopostal. When you open the doors the glass automaticly fogs so you can’t see in. Dumbass.

  18. B-ron says:

I have been in one of these they have them in aeropostale. It was kinda weird at first but after the chick locked the room it was kinda cool.

  19. whut. says:

That certainly is a clothing shop for kids, and certainly the owner is pedobear.

  20. BlahBBlah says:

This is the company I work for. Not my store, but I know how these doors work. This isn’t a fail. It’s actually really good shrink awareness. It’s exactly how the fitting room should be. Door locked, number flipped.

  21. Margot says:

I actually have been in one of these; at American Eagle. They turn white when the door locks, but it really confused me at first. :p

  22. valerie says:

that’s from aeropostale…. they fog up so you cant see inside…. your the FAIL.

  23. Darby says:

these are the dressing rooms at aeropostel or something , when i saw them i was like wtf too , i asked the sales lady ,and as soon as your inside , the window gets dark so no one can see you from the outside , pretty cool if you ask me .

  24. Joel says:

Failblog: Stop posting submissions out of the order! When I get to the submission I saw last time I visited the site, there should not be new ones after it!

  25. LISTEN says:

People, thisi is from Aeropostale. When you go in and close the door lights in the door come on and ITS NOT SEE THROUGH when someone’s in. :|

  26. SL says:

Has anyone mentioned that these become opaque when you lock the door? I just wondered if maybe someone has brought that up. It’s possible that not everyone knows that when you go inside and lock the door, the glass fogs and no one can see inside. Just in case nobody has said this, I thought I’d post. I would sure hate it if not everybody realized that this isn’t a fail, it’s high technology that lets you have privacy when you are inside and the door is locked, but lets you see that the stall is empty and clean when nobody is in it. It also might have applications in bar settings so that people may or may not have privacy for sex acts in the restroom, but possibly the management has ways to still see in, which of course was never possible before this new technology. You see, the glass in the door fogs up if someone is in there and locks it for privacy. At that time, nobody can see in.

    I could go on….

  27. Andy SIMON says:

This isn’t fail. The window fogs up and you can’t see through it when you lock the door. Pretty awesome in person

  28. Jenn says:

This isn’t a fail, it just looks like one. They have these dressing rooms at Aeropostal and once you turn the lock the glass becomes opaque (you can’t see through them). They’re actually pretty cool.

  29. If I wanted to read I'd go to the library says:

Does anyone know where this is???

  30. SpankedOIl says:

    TSA to much?

  31. Mandy says:

OK, glad multiple people pointed out that these are at Aeropostale, I was about to. I find it interesting that the majority all added, “It’s actually pretty cool.” unbeknownst to each other. :)

  32. laptop says:

    (*_*) —————____________

  33. games says:

    It really confused ……

  34. Huak says:

    shopping brothel?

  35. solarfary says:

this is not in fact a fail, but the coolest thing ever. when someone goes into the rooms, the clear doors become solid white where you cannot see through them. who ever posted this fail is the real FAIL.

  36. YOULOSTTHEGAME says:

Not a fail..Its at Aero, it fogs up when you go in…

  37. says:

Actually the doors fog up when you close them, so you can’t see inside.

  38. lucy says:

lol,They do that so they know whose in what change room-they blurr out the door when someone goes inside.Nothing really failing here.:/

  39. qwop says:

actually the aero at the mall looks like that
when the door closes the class turns white

  40. KATIE says:

everyone: this isnt a fail! they have dressing rooms like this where once, you walk in, there is a button you can press so that the window is not clear anymore!

  41. Ashley says:

I saw these at Old Navy. :3

  42. Grace says:

Uh those windows fog up or tint when someone is using them

  43. elmoluvsballs says:

if the windows didn’t fog up, than that would be a win for the guys!
