Because it’s just not a very effective way to control a game. Unless it’s a learning program for dancing/fighting or working out. And then only if you have lots and lots of space so you don’t break all things around you (children included)
Not effective? Seems to work just fine whenever I play the Kinect. I do see some games don’t control very well but Kinect Sports and Dance Central seem quite accurate. I do admit the Playstation Move is more accurate but the fail comments by everyone here about the kinect are unwarranted.

Meanwhile, on our Wii or PS with move, there’s 4 of us (read: the whole family) playing together, instead of two playing and two waitin on the couch, oh wait a minute not on the couch or the (Wii)Kinect(too) might fail and respond to the wrong people. Which was an extra reason to get rid of the s**t and trade it back for a couple (6) Wii and PS games!

Well, this isn’t really a problem with the Kinect, so much as a problem with motion controls in general. The Kinect is an interesting idea, it’s just that it has been done before, and this version is only slightly better. Could you imagine if they combined the Move and the Kinect though? The Move’s superior motion controls with the Kinects superior camera? Out of all the Motion controlers though, I enjoyed the Move the most and the Kinect the least.
I kind of prefer the games from the Move as well. But the Kinect has an advantage in that you don’t have to buy extra controllers. Honestly I think both are fun in the end and its just a matter of your own personal preference.
No extra controllers, if you want to play a party game with 4 people, you will have to buy a Wii or Move system so you can, with Kinect: that’s a fail…. M$ thinks there’s only 2 people in any family!
So if you get in a car crash, the car is a piece ****. Grow up people, just grow the F up!!

Just sold 2.5 million units in 25 days…..SOLD UNITS TO CUSTOMERS, NOT SHIPPED OR SOLD TO RETAILED. Sony could only whimper and mumble some not so clear number of units in first 30 days (most likely shipped units).
