Genuine spelling?
?
I’m a fake genuine!
genuinely counterfeit
Have to ask, why can’t something be a genuine fake?
Better than them trying to pass off some non-genuine real watches on you.
It’s like the fiji mermaid.
Reminds me of “genuine diamels”
there’s probably a brand called “fake”…
But are these truly real genuine fake watches?
I wouldnt be surprised if I bought a fake fake watches there.
This is no fail……….this is actually a WIN…………haha, I lol’d anyway
This is apparently a, um, genuine sign, advertising knockoffs of Rolexes, etc., that is posted outside a souvenir shop in Ephesus, Turkey
It is, indeed. My husband showed me the shot, and I said, “Hey! That’s the sign we saw in Turkey!”
I was just there too! these signs were EVERYWHERE!
BOGUS!!
Life is unfair sometimes.
… from the Inception of time …
The only fake watch would be something which is cosmetically but not functionally a watch. A fake Rolex (or Timex) what keeps time is still a real watch.
… a real genuine fake Rolex watch, in other words.
^this
Preferable to fake genuine watches
It’s a sign that appears all over in Turkey. Almost every souvenir shop has it.
For real?
I took a photo of this (or similar) sign just outside Ephesus, Turkey earlier this summer. Funny stuff.

Efes? Pretty sure I saw it there.
No way… I think this is a great WIN
bought A fake DG watch in Ephesus, Turkey
It was fake leather and not Dolce 7 Gabanna but looked classy. Broke on the trip home, but I knew what I was in for.
Genuine fake watches
Person who put this (shop owner) is true person, he dont lie!! Great shop sign! Must be WIN
Repeat fail these Genuine Fake Watches signs have been on Fail Blog before. Come up with new fails.
what would you expect of a sign mounted on a clothes hanger?
There’s a marketing opportunity, a brand called FAKE. It’ll be the next FCUK.
I saw this shop in Ephessus, Turkey about an hour from Izmir. It’s right across the street from the archaeological ruins to attract all the tourists. Good memories…
So it would seem, then, that Ephessus is the Turkish version of Gatlinburg, TN.
Maybe this should be an Honesty Win lol
Ahaha… this is from Turkey
I saw it everywhere, in all Bazaars in Kusadasi and Istanbul, ah Turkey
)
i’d call this a win!
I use to sell watches but they where all trick out..after 1 or 2 hours of use..they had low batteries and other had like a mechanism that used to boot out the maquinary..and they used to come back for another fake watch lol
I recognize that from my Turkey trip! or it is just the same printing
Another WIN! Why is this a FAIL?
It’s a FAIL because of the cognitive dissonance of the two contradictory adjectives. There is no way to interpret this noun clause which makes any sense in English. This would suggest that the the sign poster is ignorant of its meaning.
(Okay, I went a little far with “cognitive dissonance,” since these are simply words, not concepts. Sue me.)
Do they wear real imitation fur?
Maybe it is pronounced fah-kae!
That’s at a place called Niagara on the Lake in Ontario.
I went to this store and i was tricked! Turns out that what i thought was a genuinely fake watch was in fact real! I have been had!
