I once saw a billboard advertising internet safety by showing a picture of what was supposed to be a “creepy stalker” model. Who would sign up for that job? “NOW HIRING: CREEPY GUY TO SCARE PEOPLE ABOUT THE INTERNET.” Billboard FAIL!!!!!

Yes, and how unfortunate that business name would be for a funeral home. But, that’s just where my mind is today.
100yo sheesh.. No wonder America is in so much debt. This womans been getting a state and military pension for half her adult life.

Yeah, don’t blame the politicians who should have seen it coming a long time ago. Don’t blame top-level financial decision-makers who actually had their hands in it. Don’t blame the millions of Americans who believed they can sustain spending way more than they earn through the magic of mortgages, long-term loans, refinancing etc. – no, it’s this woman’s fault who didn’t have the decency to die as soon as she finished serving her country.
And don’t blame the dozens of Republican Senators, Representatives, and Presidential Appointees who worked so tirelessly for decades to reverse the banking industry regulations which had been put in place after the Great Depression and which had been preventing this sort of collapse since then.
Besides, who says you can’t have endless growth and endless inflation and endless pay raises and endless job growth? All it takes is magic!

She could have started out enlisted, then 14 years later went to OTS and got her commissioning. That’s actually pretty common, for all we know. So 16+4=20 which is usually how many years before people retire from the military.
I wonder if they regret coffin up all that cash for this billboard.
