If I see funny repeats I laugh again, if I see dumb repeats I move on, not waste time complaining.
If I see comments regarding complaints about repeats, I nod in agreement and move on – not waste time commenting.
If I see comments about comments regarding complaints about repeats, I just don’t like to waste my time replying.
sometimes, i see comments that i disagree with.
other times, i see comments that i agree with.
most times, nobody cares on my opinion –

yes this is an old OLD one its not even labeled “classic fail” to attempt to make up for the fact that its a repost i mean come on ur being lazy and just digging back through failblog and dragging something up from last year
All fails are user submitted. Sometimes things get submitted more than once. And sometimes (like when a site gets some new employees) things get re-posted. Get over it. Treat it like those annoying trolls that say “first”. Ignore it.
Well…to be fair, for those who actually come to this site for the fails, pics and vids, and not necessarily for the comments, reposts would be incredibly annoying. “Ignoring it” would basically mean “leaving entirely” since there have been so many recently. It’s not good business to chase your audience away like that.
Good point. Is there a way to fix it? I have the feeling that if we could the quality of fails would improve a hundredfold.
Before I blog I rub lavendar oil on my body and chant in a special part of the garden, then when I approach my special laptop that sits in my FailBlog shrine, I move the marigolds off the keyboard, press F5 and hope that all is well.
(they’ll see it in their click-though stats. Click-throughs equal revenue potential. Changes will be made if or when revenue drops. Maybe it’s a benevolent society, but sadly I think cheezburger is a dollar thang)
