  1. beep says:

    wow nice

  2. oggologgo says:

“get a tetris”????? Love note FAIL!

  3. Huh says:

    How cute…

  4. Divine Goddess of the Cuddle Puddle says:

    I think it’s sweet!

  5. duder says:

this is just stupid, seems this sites gone down hill since that bag of misfits site been up,tainted the whole thing with its unfunny crap

    • ElemWiz says:

I think you need a hug.

    • loler27 says:

I think the site is still hilarious, and we should not take it for granted. It is still the best Fail destination on the internet, and we should appreciate that. Thank you FailBlog, for giving me something to laugh at. Because I’ll take what you give me. Anything that makes me laugh.

  6. DEEDEE says:

    First time being THIRD!

  7. the shakezula says:

u can see someone erased the two L bricks, making a purposeful fail. this does not belong on fail blog

  8. Wolfgang says:

Also, looking at that, I don’t think that would result in a tetris. (is that honestly what it’s called when that happens?) The only one that could complete is the top one, but that’s five bricks high and the long brick only looks to be four.

  9. hojo says:

FAIL, there is no “tetris” in sight. Perhaps the writer is saying they were excited about their “love” but ultimately found it empty. Tetris/Love fail.

  10. Aaron says:

Looks like a fail to me. He’s not even going to complete one line with that piece.

  11. beep says:

It’s a simple but clever love note. Gosh you guys.

  12. bananna says:

FAIL! if you look closely, the straight 4-block doesn’t even make a teris.

  13. Eric says:

    i don’t get it.

  14. ReadytoDie says:

Sorry to say, but that picture would not be a tetris.

  15. hebrewzzi says:

That joke was totally stolen from Family Guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TwVO734AW4

  16. Ogey says:

Those two L blocks aren’t empty, they’re just in a light marker. It is a 4-level tetris – open vertical space on right.

  17. Greg says:

Dang noobs with their monitor’s low-ass contrast ratio. The white space account for grey pieces, not white. Look closely.

  18. Aja says:

You know, I don’t think this is a tetris. *fills glasses*

  19. Ptv987 says:

The places that look white and doesnt seem to have any bricks, actually are pinkish(?) blocks that have dots on them. Seriously, check your eyesight. Anyways, i`m gonna steal this idea :3

  20. Phail Pail says:

This is mild compared to the feeling you get when you finally blow up that stinkin’ heart in Contra…just sayin’

  21. gasafdsdfsdg says:

Failure because he’s not going to get a tetris, count the nbocks.

  22. Starky says:

    Ohh…with you, I’ll get my high score…

  23. saglikshoop says:

You know, I don’t think this is a tetris. *fills glasses

  24. Cloral says:

I’ll bet that later, the two of them… *ahem* made a tetris.

  25. Marius says:

    Arrgh!
Who is blinder than he that will not see?

*Sits in comfy chair with a bottle of Jack*
*Raises a glass to the kid with class*
Yes, it has been that kind of day.

  26. Cedany says:

I wonder, why are there markers in that color to begin with?

  27. lipservice says:

No time to read all these comments; but I hope someone has noticed there is no possible way to get “a tetris” in this most disappointing of WINs.

  28. Acies says:

I noticed many people saying there is no “tetris” here while others saying there is because the 2 seemingly empty spaces are actually light pink pokadots…. But if that L shape is light pink… then how did the purple wavy blocks happen?

  29. failers says:

    M-M-M-MultiFAIL!

    1) Labeling this FAIL as WIN: FAIL!

    2) Tick marks along the bottom to align columns: good idea. Making the tick marks unevenly spaced: FAIL!

    3) Failure to follow the uneven tick marks on row above the bottom two: FAIL!

    4) Bottom four rows all have more than one empty space. Only the fifth row has one column remaining to be filled. Assertion that dropping a bar vertically (four block tall) will complete any lines: FAIL!

    – OR — (for those who thing the two L shape gaps with faint dots might be filled)

    4) Using color and pattern to indicate shapes: Good idea. Drawing the L with purple waves in one orientation, and with near invisible dots in another orientation: FAIL! (Changing orientation doesn’t change the color/pattern in-game)

    5) Writing a love note on paper for someone that is gamer: FAIL! (Like, make a custom wallpaper and send it by email, this is the 21st century FFS)

    • Arthur Eld says:

      You fail epicly.

    • Wut says:

You idiot, there are two different types of L blocks in tetris. One is mirrored. Rotating a mirrored L can never turn it into a normal L.

POINTING OUT FAIL FAIL. Is that Fail^2?

      • CounterWut says:

SIR – may I suggest a reconsideration of your utterances.

The guy used brownish diagonal lines for each ‘inverted L’ shape, and also kept a consistent color scheme for all other shapes, except for the ‘normal L’ shape: he used purple waves for the ‘normal L’ at the bottom, and light pink dots for the other two ‘normal Ls’.

        • failers says:

Thank you for having more clue than the other three replies. They fail as hard as the guy that drew it and thought there are three Ls.

  30. Me123 says:

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who noticed a rather epic fail on the part of failblog… shameful.

  31. wow says:

does anyone else notice that the block is only four high and therefore is not big enough to get a tetris?

  32. oggologgo says:

    1 – It’s not called “get a tetris”.

2 – I feel absolutely nothing before such event. If you do, it must be your first time playing tetris.

  33. Mike says:

    Love note win, Tetris Fail

  34. fubr says:

I’m a Tetris fan and I love romance but… I don’t find this sweet nor witty.
    plus,
I think that the “wins” aren’t supposed to be everything that’s done well. I felt the same way about the natural colors advertisement they posted here, with the sun setting and changing the girl’s hair color.
In my eyes failblog is not a place for good commercials, or funny comic strips or stuff like that. I like the wins every once in a while, but mostly when they’re unintentional or something more than a nice gesture. This love note could go on fffound or something like that. Not failblog.
plus how pompous a guy has be for posting his own love note for everyone to see how witty he is. ew.

  35. hackcomic says:

    I have never felt this>!!
you make me feel the opposite!!!!!
I hate myself when around you!

  36. Graham says:

I remember back when failblog was posted fails, not just random cute pics. Good times…

  37. maskredd says:

This should totally be a hallmark card.

  38. DaSam says:

    But… she won’t get a Tetris oO

  39. spudgee says:

Hey… you idiot, who wrote the sign, a tetris is where u get four rows in order. It’s not just one row. U nneed 2 get 4 and not mess up. There can”t be any spaces in the lines.

  40. ryan says:

a tetris is actually when you eliminate 4 lines in a row. removing one line isnt considered a tetris

  41. grond says:

I don’t think he will tell his friends that he is constantly making her feel like being *right before* a tetris as this leads to the question whether she cannot get a tetris with him…

  42. Iva says:

Please, for the love of all things fail would someone stop these lame fails. This has been the worst week in Failblog history.

  43. KissMy says:

FAIL!.. that line blocks still doesn’t make a tetris.. 5 rows in the bottom, only the top would make a tetris, but the line block is only 4 blocks.. i say FAIL.

  44. gar says:

this is actually a fail because he didn’t get a tetris, he’s going to lose…… FAIL

  45. Bob says:

    passes out.

  46. Fez says:

Love note win, but color choice FAIL. I had to look back at the picture a couple times to realize that those were blocks and not empty spaces…

  47. Brian says:

I thought it was a Counting Fail at first because if you count, it wouldn’t be a tetris. Then I saw the comments and looked up again and saw the bottom is pink, not blank. So it’s a Color Choice Fail, Idea Win, though.

  48. whammersbach says:

    nerd love.

  49. supitza says:

Although it’s irrelevant, the love note being extremely cute as it is, she didn’t “fail” at Tetris. The 2 pieces you thought were missing are actually drawn in a light pink, if you look carefully. So the 4 block line does make a Tetris.
In my opinion, it’s the guys who saw the supposed Tetris error before the cuteness who failed.

  50. Nola says:

that’s not even going to result in a tetris… there are holes in all of the rows except the top one.. which is five rows from the bottom… the long piece is only FOUR squares tall!!!
    nooooooooooooo!!!!
    otherwise awesome note… <333

  51. Nola says:

    my bad… supitza is right…
    WIN

  52. chandlerj333 says:

    LINNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE PPPPPIEEECCCCEEEEEEEEE!1!!!!!!!!!!

  53. Andrew says:

    OK… here’s my version…

    http://twitpic.com/2czakn

  54. Slicer says:

What this note is really saying is that the author wants to put his long piece in the receiver’s available hole for maximum win.

  55. Whitechapel says:

I know this is probably the most fail comment yet, but…don’t all the colors have to be the same for a row to match?

  56. Acey says:

that is the most adorable thing I have EVER seen.

  57. Roy says:

Tetris = Boner, ha ha ha

  58. meep says:

this is stupid. theres no win about a 12 yr old girl writing a lesbian love note to justin beiber.

  59. Tetris Master says:

Looks like your not going to be getting a tetris anytime soon. They have some tips and tricks at

    May help i guess.

  60. Tetris fail says:

This is a fail, a tetris is a line break of four solid lines..look at all the gaps :P

  61. mark says:

actually, it is a fail… that block wouldn’t have gotten rid of any rows, look closely.

  62. @CaioMGA says:

If you pay attention, he painted the , aparently, holes with dots.

    Genius!

  63. Austin Doubt says:

your line piece is too short, the tetris god is displeased.
