Actually you here the director in the back saying: “Cops come out”
*sigh* You can see the cop cars parked in the background before the whole thing starts… turn up your audio… and listen… “queue the cars”…. “run by the perps”…. “cops come out, action”..
You can clearly see the cop cars in the background as the ‘criminals’ are jumping into the car and you can hear someone on a megaphone yell ‘Cops come out’ at the end
it was a commercial…
watch it again and you’ll see the cop cars are just idling in the background and speed in when the dudes get in their car. somebody (director?) then says “action, boys” and the car drives away…
it was staged. you can hear a director calling out “action paused, cops come out, and action”.

Clearly this is for some kind of film or movie. As Einstine pointed out there are two cop cars that can be seen waiting on the same street before the “thieves” run out. As soon as the cops pull up and run into the building, leaving the thieves in their car, you can hear a director yell “Act surprised” and then he hells “cops come out” as the thieves drive away. This was merely someone recording the filming of a show or movie. FAILBLOG FAIL.

No it’s not. Look at the guy getting into the front passenger seat, in your video he like rolls on the ground, but on this one he just slides across the hood and lands fine. Maybe they got the idea from the commercial.
Dave – really dude? You don’t think that maybe it wasn’t the same take used in the commercial. Lets think this through… it was clearly someone recording the filming of that commercial. Notice the cop cars waiting in the background…it’s fake. FAILBLOG FAIL.
Sorry, Dave, but I agree with Shaggs. I think it’s a good call to Id the actual commercial. There are just too many similarities. I would guess that the changes you noticed between this video and the link are because the commercial was cut from a different take. I doubt they were able to get the commercial perfect in a single take.
In fact, I’d guess this video is at least the second take. Probably some bystander saw the first take and decided to whip out his camera phone or something and record the next take.

Two police cars wait discreetly parked in the background. A dirt-brown sedan is parked in the foreground. BP headquarters is off camera to the right.
Three BP executives dressed as urban ninjas run to the dirt-brown car, throwing duffel bags of money in with them. As they start to pull away from the curb, the cops put down their Dunkin Donuts and burn out the 20 feet from where they were parked to almost pin the BP executives…. but there’s a twist.
High on sugar, the cops get out of their cars and go for a jog. Maybe they heard that BP was giving away duffel bags of money and wanted to get in on that before they were all gone. They run past the get-away car into the off-camera BP headquarters.
The stench of excrement wafts from the car from all the pant-crapping that was done when they thought they would have to part with some of their duffel-prizes to bribe their way out of this, but instead they casually pull away and drive around the pigmobiles.
A director yells, “Okay, you can come out now!” and all the cops return to the frame to look like they just missed out on free Carl’s Jr $6 burgers. None of them have any duffel bags.
“Apparently this type of thing doesn’t only happen in sitcoms” leads into the Art of Trolling ad, followed by Zigi powering the fail with “Is there a problem officers?” Then we get a silent film version of the bicycle guy’s demise.

Because clearly there is a bystander watching the filming and taping it with a cell phone, or some other such videoing device. The official cameras would, I think, be angled more to the left so that they wouldn’t pickup the police cars just idling in the background for the first few seconds of the shot.

It was probably done by an onlooker that recorded it on their phone. This happens in Los Angeles all the time where they buy the street for a day to shoot a commercial.

Sorry guys, but I think this might be from a movie set. If you turn your speakers up, you can hear the set director calling out the action seconds before it happens. In particular, after the bank robbers leave the bank, you hear a voice say, “and now the cops come out…” almost as if he is giving direction. On top of that, police officers would not rush a building like that, or do some sort of Starsky and Hutch drift maneuver in unison with each other – it just doesn’t happen. In fact, they would clear an area at least a block or two wide and evacuate all of the bystanders in the area; they certainly would not allow civilians to be mulling about while a bank robbery in in progress. Funny concept though.

the fail is a commercial for this past model Chevrolet Malibu… the whole idea being that past Malibu’s are bland and unnoticeable and that the new ones are “hard to ignore”… hence, the robbers drive away in their “ignorable Malibu”… this video was probably taken from someone on the street as the actual commercial is from different angles than the one shown
