When I was young, I used to play a game called Dizzy in which you controlled an egg with boxing gloves for hands. (Seemed perfectly reasonable at the time, and still does).
You had a bag in which you could items to use, and one of the items you could pick up was a hole. Then the message came up “you have a hole in your bag, all your items fall out”. So I had to pick-up all the items again, including the hole.
Took me the longest time to figure out what was going on
End of reminiscing.
Hahaha! I once saw a truck that was transporting holes and the truck hit a bump and one of the holes fell off. So the driver noticed it in his rear view mirror, he hit the brakes, backed and guess what? He drove in the hole!

That so reminds me of the novel “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. It was pretty freaky to see how and what kids were taught to do and think. It was a great book though, pretty interesting.
