Richard
Stt this is his secret identity
And his wife’s name is… is…
Nah. It’s too easy.
Ivanna? lawl
Mary?
Fanny.
Winona?
Tiny?
Fanny!? ha what a stupid name
hey. that was my grandmothers name. she died last month.
Alotta???
Sharon?
Now what shall I butcher him with fire or cold?
You need a longer name?
Go for fire!
.cum
I wonder…
Manna Kock?
Badda Bing!
Wanna kock!
2nd not bad – i’ve been trying this 4 months
You still have 4 more moths to go!
So they are in their second trimester?
I’d rather have butterflies.
NO WAY!
your perspicacity amazes me. NAGH, don’t feed the troll…
someone give this guy a Nobel prize or something
darwin award?
They also spelled the word “nieces” wrong…
I hate those neices to peices.
Well, aren’t you so full of niceties.
just thought you should know your comment made me giggle+snort+choke on smoke + project liquid from my nose.
Isn’t that what this whole fail picture was about in the first place or am I missing something?
Don’t answer!It’s a trap!*coughs*
He either hasn’t had a photo taken for about 30 years, or has learned the secret of vitality and not patented it.
A fail in both cases.
If I live to see my 90th bithday I’ll laugh about everyone who laughed about my name (and probably died in between).
Yup.
I’m more concerned about the spelling of “neices” on there.
Probably of Dutch or Belgian origin. Nothing special about the name Kock over here (means cook).
That might be the secret of his longevity. Surviving the Dutch cuisine ain’t easy.
I don’t know if you’re American? Because I already suffer gastric cramps when just looking at the kind of food that is eaten daily throughout the U.S. I’ll never glorify the Dutch cuisine, but I do think we in general eat at least héalthy.
There certainly is a difference between the food that you see as a visitor in erstaurants and the meals that the locals eat at home.
I do remember some deep fried bars of meaty emulsion sold lukewarm from a vending machine, and that gave me the shivers.
He is also well known for growing orchids. The name orchid comes from the Greek word for testicles. What else can he come up with? Studying penal laws? Owner of a sausage factory?
It’s the manliest man name ever.
Too bad he’s from Sarnia. All the petrochemicals in the water would have long ago shrunken his balls into little raisins.
Though perhaps that’s how he made it to 90.
I’ve got a bottle of youth elixer to sell you…
That certainly ain’t a Dutch name…
(btw, nothing wrong with Dutch cuisine, easy to survive!)
looks shopped
I was going to say the same thing.
It’s not, it’s on the online version of the Toronto Star’s page and a friend who works there sent it to me with glee that they’d made it onto FailBlog XD
has anyone pointed out that he is an orchid grower, Orchids meaning testicle, the flowers being named for their scrotal appearance.
Maybe, I’m to lazy to read through all the comments.
Argh! Bukkit!
oh yea, apparently Private_Danza did.
well everyone gets to enjoy that tidbit twice.
poorly pressed humor.
Know what’s worse? I live in Sarnia.
Everyone loves the Kock!
DeKock is a common last name in South Africa while Sakkie (pronounced suckie) is a popular first name.
*considers*
oh my!
*faints*
When you’re a well-known orchid grower and traveler, nobody laughs at your name. Respect, that’s what you get.
it does get worse, there’s a dutch politician named Tiny Kox.
http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiny_Kox
Interesting article. He also had to leave the KUT prematurely? Which loosely translates to
Catholic University Netherlands, Tilburg.
i’m in Sarnia
me two
Sick! whereabouts?
I’m by lambton mall
Hey from sarnia to, probaly no u RyanWyrz, not that hard to guess than to spell
Where is this taken from?
Even worse when one takes into account that “orchid” is the medical root word for…certain male parts…
exactly what i was going to say
damn, wheres the fail about it? this name is an epic win!
passing off kocky children since 1920.
No way. This is totally a WIN!
i’d have given up after 10…
In Holland -where I live- it’s a very normal name. Not joking!
wonder if there was a sitcom about him. Everybody loves..err.
Joanie loves jawjee.
He must have been teased something rotten at school – kids calling him TickTock. Oh the horror.
My fourth grade teacher was Richard Schwartz. Yeah, he used the nickname too.
Then again, I know a Peter Johnson *and* a Peter Wang…
Seeing as I’m from Sarnia, it’s not terribly suprising that I actually know this man!
The last name is pronounced “coke” like coke-a-cola.
I’m surprised no one pointed out the misspelling of “nieces”…
I was about to.Double fail, they spelt nieces wrong. < how's that?
Double fail, they spelt nieces wrong.
ITS A FUKIN WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mmmmmm…90 year-old Kock…
And the irony continues: Orchid seems like the Greek word “όρχης” that means testicle!!!
WINWINWINWINWIN!
