  1. BlackBox98 says:

    that’s racist

    • hey guys says:

      I come for you #1!

      • poindexte|2 says:

it is rascit, but its also very hilarious if you think about it. They got mad cause someone said their donation wasn’t enough and so Thailand is like, “Oh so $20,000 isn’t enough? Ok, let us throw in some white skin cream to make ya fit in.”

LOL! Thailand must of been pissed, unless its not real. but still funny

        • Blub The Fish says:

This is funny, but obviously fake……nice try…

          • wial says:

Yup. I think this qualifies as a “Fail fail”. Notthenation is a Thai self-parody site but their humor went over the heads of the editors of failblog. This post should be retracted, or repurposed into self-parody on the part of failblog.

As it stands, clearly too many people are ready to believe the Thais could be that stupid, when in real life they’re generous with food aid. Leaving this one up as is abets soft racism against a sweet and kind people.

            • Ben says:

Agreed. You guys suck for putting this up.

            • Mad says:

You just had to ruin it for everyone else. What is your problem? I had a bad day, I read this entry, found it awesome, and then you just have to come along and ruin my fun by saying it’s fake. Who do you think you are? And I did not see anyone asking you if it was fake or not! I hope you get banned from here.

              • Xenon says:

Future tip: if you’ve had a bad day, never EVER read the comments. Something, somewhere WILL piss you off.

              • Mitchka says:

just get a life and it’ll get better.

              • egbjf says:

coz u believe in wrong things idiot!!! That’s why he should ruin it for u and tell it’s FAKE!!! I almost believe it myself…If I thought this was true, what do u think would be my view of Thailand then, huh?

            • SomeGuy says:

Agreed. I myself believed this for a while. I can see a lot of people believing this is real news and hating Thai people for no reason.

            • LInoge says:

I am ready to believe any government can be this stupid.

        • greendragoness says:

The funniest part is, the Thai actually DO think that if you have lighter skin, you’re better off financially. A lot of women have been disfigured from using creams like that to whiten their skin. I doubt the Thai government is THAT stupid, or racist, but this is still freaking HILARIOUS given the culture.

    • fraud_the_troll says:

It’d only be racist if it were real. As it is, it’s only embarassing that it made it this far.

      • Wilbo says:

The real fail is that it made it on this site.

Probably Bad News once had an Onion article. It was taken down really quickly.

        • loladahl10 says:

“With lighter skin they could be more succesful”

Not real… Or funny, for that matter.

          • loladahl10 says:

            Ok. A little funny, maybe.

          • jigga says:

Actually, it is real. That’s the sad part. It’s funny because it’s satirical.

            • Tim says:

Jigga, it’s NOT real, it’s an article published by “NotTheNation.com”, which does nothing but write “fake” news articles to make fun of real political events (in that case the small aid Thailand supplied for Haiti).

          • maggie says:

actually, this is kinda funny if you understand thai culture.

In Thailand, people use these skin whitening creams all the time, because fair skin is prized in thailand. The company donating probably didn’t think this would be read as raciest. I assume it was innocent, but definitely a fail.

            • kyasarin says:

It’s not just Thailand. Those creams are all over Asia–including India and Japan. My ultra-white skin has gotten favorable attention. Guess all those years of avoiding the sun like a vampire have finally paid off.

Still, it’s a little sad. Asian girls whiten their skin. White girls turn themselves into Oompa-Loompas with bronzer and spray-on tans. What’s it all for?

        • bantab says:

Satire is wasted on the dumb.

          • retards says:

50% of people have below-average intelligence. what did you expect?

            • Maulkin says:

Not necessarily; if humanity has a predilection to extreme intelligence or extreme stupidity, the outliers would shift the average and increase the number of people on the opposite side. Indeed, since the low side has a limit (0 IQ) and the high side has no limit, there may well be a significant number of high-outliers, skewing the average so that there are more people below the average than above it.

Unless you’re talking about the Median. Then yes, there are an equal number of people above the median than there are people below the median.

              • Cato says:

If you’re going to go hard-ass technical, then do it right!

Taking “average” to mean median still doesn’t ensure than half will be below average. Someone could be right at the median, in which case, necessarily, fewer than 50% would be below the median, and fewer than 50% would be above it.

                • Maulkin says:

Only if IQ is a discrete measure. If it is continuous, then it is impossible for any individual’s IQ to exactly equal another – so there *will* be an exact middle individual.

              • Box says:

You have no idea what you are talking about.
IQ scales are made so that the average always falls on 100 and the Standard Deviation be 15. They just modify the raw scale to a new scale. Whatever the average on the raw scale, the average will always be placed at 100 on the modified scale.
That’s because we can’t measure what 1 unit of intelligence is. We can only compare the IQ of people to the average IQ of the population.

So if you had outliers, they would not make a difference at all: the scale would be modified again so that the average be 100. Those IQ scales are not a score that truly measure your abilities, they only tell you how well you scored compared to the rest of the population.

If all human beings suddenly became twice as intelligent, the IQ scale would be changed so that the average remained 100. We would be twice as smart as before, yet our IQ would not have changed since the scale changes along with the population’s abilities.

There are as many people who have an IQ above 100 than there are people who have an IQ below. That’s because we modify the scale when needed to keep the average at 100.

You could only argue that IQ scales are made with a sample from the population, and therefore if the entire population was tested, the average could actually turn out to be 99 or 101 and not 100, but that doesn’t really matter actually.

It should also be noted that IQs between 85-115 are considered average, but psychologists also speak of “Low Average” and “High Average” (i.e. 86 would be considered a low average IQ, while 113 would be considered to be in the high average and 100 would be just average). 116 is considered above average (because the standard deviation is 15, therefore at 116 you are 1 SD above the mean).

                • Leah says:

“There are as many people who have an IQ above 100 than there are people who have an IQ below. That’s because we modify the scale when needed to keep the average at 100.”

                  But if it’s an average…
To keep the math simple, say the IQ testees consisted of five people. Three have an IQ of 80 while one has an IQ of 125, and the last with 140. This still averages out to 101, yet there’s an uneven amount of people on each side of the “average”.

              • Anonymous says:

The iq scale has a midpoint of 100 and every 15 points is one standard deviation. A iq below zero is possible but like an iq over 200 difficult to measure, though believing this article is a good start…

            • Ahetma Vaakenjaab says:

87% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

        • New_on_everything says:

The REAL Fail is, that somebody wrote that fake article just to cause even more trouble about racism. Like the world didn’t already have enough of that…

          • Bia says:

You fail to understand the concept of mocking a bad way of thinking for the sake of gathering more people to realize that racism is bad.

Criticizing racism isn’t “causing even more trouble”, it’s actually positive to fight racism, you numbnut.

            • mom says:

Bia- I agree with you completely.

            • Sompong says:

But why would they use my country name for the case? What Thailand donates are hundreds matric tons of rice and foods.

              • Pingpong says:

So does your goverment classify you as white enought to have an opinion and post it on the interwebs?

              • dobber says:

The original story was from a Thai website, Sompong. If you go to the website in question (notthenation.com) you will see that it is a parody (not real) news site, written by Thais for Thais.

        • sajal says:

this post is from the fake news site notthenation.com. It makes fun on thais obsession with whiteness… Sry dont hv full url .. Typing from phone

      • zackrobbin says:

        it’s racist because it’s fake. if “Thai” is a race . . .

    • gusna says:

      it is racist.

    • I'm Magically Delicious says:

This is not racist! Americans are too quick to pull the race card for everything that does not involve Caucasians

    • xana98 says:

      huh?

  2. hey guys says:

    omg ima second!

  3. Katie says:

    WOW, just WOW

  4. jamar says:

Say what you will about the last prime minister of Thailand, but at least he wasn’t THIS dumb. Way to make the whole country look shallower than a kiddie pool.

    • jamar says:

Since there’s no edit- Thank goodness it’s a joke.

    • BAReFOOt says:

Obvious FAKE is OBVIOUS! Just read the wannabe “article”. In reality, they would backpedal, not make such quotes. And Unilever would never join them on it.

      • jamar says:

Someone didn’t read my reply to myself. And you should have seeing as how it was posted three whole hours before yours.

    • LvM says:

It is more shallow judging an entire people by the actions of it’s government. It’s also shallow to *expect* a donation. ‘Some’ don’t need to buy off their conscience.

    • MarkFL says:

Perhaps the Thais should go back to a monarchy. I recall hearing somewhere that the prince was upset that stray dogs in his country were euthanized, so he arranged to have them trained in search and rescue. This was a year or two before the tsunami, so when the Thais were trying to locate thousands of bodies, they had what would otherwise be an absurdly large number of dogs trained for the task.

(And yeah, I KNOW the story was a gag.)

  5. TK-299 says:

    LOL!!!!

  6. Dan says:

However funny this is, sad it’s fake

  7. The Goat says:

From notthenation.com – it’s a spoof, like everything on the site.

  8. Not the troll you're looking for says:

How did a Notthenation.com parody piece get into failblog? More like a humor win.

    • Michelle says:

I was wondering the same thing. Hope they don’t start failing Onion articles here too. Xp

      • arimareiji says:

Kudos to the guys for leaving this up. It would be hypocritical if they cheerfully posted everyone else’s fails, but took down their own fail after they realized they’d been had by an Onion-esque “article”.

  9. Tom says:

7th! Blimmin Hell!! This can’t really be in a newspaper. That’s rraather racist.

  10. Shadow says:

Hmm, let me check my earthquake survival kit…

    ☑ Food

  11. MysteryGall says:

    This just can’t be real?

  12. Tom says:

    Damn I was 10th :( Aah well. That’s kinda a round number. I like it. :)

  13. nk says:

    More like a WIN :D

  14. nerdrage says:

Is it the fact that this was posted here the Fail? Or was it the fact that is wasn’t very funny?

  15. adv2k1 says:

The rest of the world is so racist. This is why having Obama as President is such a big deal.

    • ThatsRight says:

America is more racist than any other Western Country by far. This is why having Obama as President is such a big deal.

      • ambermonk says:

There’s racism in ALL countries. It’s the individual, not the nation, that’s racist.

      • CawkKnuckle says:

Sweden, Australia, and Israel (just to name a few) have us beat in racism for sure. So does Japan and China, but you limited it to ‘Western’ countries for some reason. Why do racist eastern countries not count?

        • ThatsRight says:

Sweden and Australia? Explain that one! And to be honest I actually agree with ambermonk. I just didn’t like adv2k1′s initial comment and I was trying to wind him/her up.

  16. TheRealWazzar says:

While the trustworthiness of the article may be in question, it’s a fact that Anti-Tan is popular in Thailand (or at least with the dumbfounded tourists).

I lol’d the first time I heard about the stuff, and I lol’d even harder when I found out it was for real.

  17. hsarvell says:

This is probably just a screen dump from Not the Nation, a satirical website, ie. this shit is likely not real.

  18. Nippy says:

This is NOT a fail. It’s a spoof article from notthenation.com.

  19. Xenocles says:

It puts the lotion on its skin.

  20. Johann says:

Epic fail from fail blog. Falling for a spoof from the nation.

  29. mehahaho says:

Hmm rather good advertising for nothenation.com me thinks!

  30. Anonymous says:

Um, guys, I’m pretty sure this is from a Thailand-based satire news site NotTheNation.com.

  31. dduuddee says:

Just so you know: This is a FAKE article from a “fun”-website.
Thailand never donated whitening skin cream to thailand, dont believe all the stuff in the internet…

  32. noone says:

    FAILblog FAIL!

  33. jumpinjack says:

why do people keep repeating stuff here?

  34. jh says:

It will make make them brighter.

  35. ogoboso says:

It puts the lotion on its skin unless it wants the quake again.

  36. ZombieQueen says:

    thank god its fake. lol

  37. CelestialFae says:

It always amazes me how people don’t understand what a parody is! Especially on sites like the Onion and notthenation which are entirely farsical!

  38. Pang says:

    OMG พณฯ Abhisit.
    Il useless item.

  39. DM says:

C’mon, Failblog–seriously?! Take this fake down. It’s satire, but for people not in on the joke, it only perpetuates stereotypes and, yeah, racism *against Thais*. You might as well go to Snopes.com and pick any random discredited urban legend and post that as “fact,” with the FAIL tagline.

I love love this site, and I’m as snarky and schadenfreude-prone (big word, look it up) as anyone, but posting this is epic BS. Next time, take 10 seconds to fact-check this sort of thing. There’s this awesome new invention called The Google that makes

  40. Strikerx17 says:

    Thailand Fail or Racism Win?

  41. Josh says:

This was an article published on NotTheNation.com… a fake news site, like The Onion. If you read the article, it’s fairly obvious that it’s not real.

  42. Sgt Doodoh says:

Looks like they got less than they bargained for.

  43. loranto says:

it seems that they are trying to dump products that thailand might have screwd up in their production process and can’t sell it anymore so they are giving it to haiti

  44. doodie says:

    FAIL Blog Fail

  45. fire-fingers says:

Might be fake but still funny stuff

  46. Random Hero says:

    Its a joke!
    #FailBlogFail!

  47. Not Funny says:

    Absolutely NOT FUNNY!
Especially with what’s happening in Thailand right now. This could be used to discredit whoever mentioned in this fake news.

People believes things so easy these days.
And remember, hoax news spreads fast and wide.

  48. w00t says:

I thought it was real for a second :O

  49. Colekrieger69 says:

    This is mega lulzy

I live in thailand and if the local thais were in charge of the government this could actually happen
They think having black skin is like bad juju and associated with evil.

Even the more modern thais use massive ammounts of skin whitener because of it. Dark skin is like evil thar, and they are ridiculously supersticious.
    Here is an example

    http://www.phuketgazette.net/queernews/index.asp?id=8416

  50. roro says:

This is a FAIL for failblog!

    It’s fake!!

    • Michelle says:

Everyone knows earthquakes are caused by women dressing immodestly. If only women would cover up their bodies, these things would never happen.

  51. captain repetition says:

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but I think this is fake…

  52. BurnEdOut says:

    Stop posting onion articles. >:|

  53. Joel says:

Ehm, this has to be a joke. It’s too stupid to be true.

  54. Joel says:

One google search later confirms it, what’s the point of uploading fake4fun newsstories.

  55. Eric says:

This should totally be a win…

  56. Azkyroth says:

Yeah, really; I can see this coming from Japan or Texas, but Thailand?

  57. chez says:

Pop quiz: how do you say “F@$% you” in Thai?

    • Critter Rhode says:

Well, first I would take a flight to Thai.
Then once out of the airport you say, “F@$% you” .
      3. Safety
Then take a plane back to your home. Hopefully the plane lands at the airport and not on your home.

    • LvM says:

      I don’t even know what F@$% means in english. Google translate says % f @ $ คุณ

    • Jae says:

      it’s “เย็ด” or “เย็ดแม่” (it’s mean mother f$#%er)

      and yes i’m thai :D

  58. starrison says:

*facepalms* I now officially feel ashamed to be half thai.

  59. Nxu5 says:

It’s definitely real, I’ve lived in Thailand for 3 years. Made me facepalm at how stupid the government actually is.

  60. Your God says:

A donation of $20 grand is insufficient? How much is Haiti willing to donate if that happens somewhere else… O right probably nothing as long is it isn’t them.

  61. Icanhascheezburgernewbie says:

If this was real, it would make Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NY times, everywhere. The whole country would know about this stupid article :P

  62. Blue says:

Is this a fail at failing? Does that make a win, mathematically?

  63. mike says:

Is the editor of Failblog really this dumb?
Some of the people commenting believe it’s real so who knows.

  64. rich says:

HOAX!!! Hey I got a epic fail about a guy that ate pop rocks and coca cola and he exploded. Lets post that.

  65. SilentBob says:

I believe Failblog should start to state sources for articles such as this one especially sins this one looks like a hoax. Please consider us as rational being and avoid spreading hoaxes!

  66. Bia says:

This site is getting more and more trouble to have good submission, huh?

Not only you mock dead old ladies and post their photos (I still hope you get sued for it), and now you fall for fake news and post it as true? How low can you get, Failblog?? I gotta stop checking this crap site…

  67. AiBing says:

For sakes! This was from a joke news site! It’s not true.

  68. RWW says:

I’m glad this is fake; it would be a real shame for the Thai government to mistake correlation (no matter how strong) for causation.

  69. Istra says:

This is in such poor taste to post this here, I don’t even have words. The fact that it IS a joke article, makes the point of putting its worthless content even more meaningless and offensive. I genuinely think it should be removed.

I am nauseated enough at this to boycott Failblog altogether.

  70. kk says:

FYI, Citra Ultra Whitening is an Indonesian brand.

  71. inari says:

Fake news should not be Failblog material. What the hell are you guys thinking? You’re not that thick, are you?

  72. mike says:

/sigh.. the world we live in..

  73. The White says:

This is really funny;)) One of the best jokes i have heard for months;)) You made my day…

  74. Sin says:

    What the f*ck?

  75. Aidan says:

Failblog should have “possibly intentional/fake” as a voting option.

  76. rich says:

This site has seriously gone to crap. The editors need to lay off the weed and maybe they would not only be able to see through obvious bulls#!t stories but not find every photo of someone falling down or someone moving the letters around on a sign funny.

  77. uma says:

how wud u kno?….lol….if u secretly want them to donate to u….just say so…

  78. I’ve decided to add a new phrase just for this comments page. It’s “Repetition is the mother of stupidity”. Seriously, will it take that much effort to read what others have said before?

  79. microwavspam says:

From my experience in Thailand “whitening skin cream” is the english translation of sunscreen. Typically high SPF such as 50 or higher. It’s more of an Engrish translation. I did find the title of this article funny however.

    • DrB says:
      (repost...for the moderators)

From my experience in Thailand (and elsewhere in Asia) “whitening skin cream” can be nasty sh!t, that actively lightens skin tone, not just blocking UV.

I found this fail funny too…but only because it reminded me of anal bleaching.

  80. Joanne says:

Funniest newspaper article I’ve seen in years.

  81. Swikity says:

This is from a satire news website, much like The Onion.
    This post is a fail.

  82. Anon! says:

Wow, this is a pretty big “FAIL fail”…
I’m not sure what would be worse here:
1.) Somebody was stupid enough to read the whole article without realizing it _must_ be parody

2.) The person wasn’t that stupid, instead the level of journalism and common sense in the world has dropped so low, that even somebody intelligent might think this is real…

  83. lookitup says:

This is partly plagiarized from a real story: the Thai government _did_ send $20,000, followed by 20,000 tons of rice (not skin bleach), and another $900,000 in aid. If this is a parody, what’s it parodying, exactly? The racism of Thai people? Pretty tasteless.

  84. mathd says:

I agree : this is a fail for FailBlog. How could this end up here? We are waiting for REAL fail; not for some racist hoax that could easily be taken seriously by naive people.

  85. xjcsa says:

Failblog fail. Seriously, this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen here – posting satire as a “fail”? Lame.

    • poindexte|2 says:

your only saying that cause your dark-skin andfeel offended.
Besides it says Thailand did it. Not failblog

      • xjcsa says:

Wow. You are an incoherent moron.

        • ShadowQuest says:

xjcsa – That’s my new favorite insult!

I might have to use that in a story some time.

*adds “Wow. You are an incoherent moron” to random quotes page, right below “Joss…is a fruit basket in a world of cheese platters,” and “Don’t tangent – it makes me dizzy.”*

      • Nana says:

        poindextel,you so an incoherent moron!!!

Thank for xjcsa inventing this insult!

        Totally the fail of failblog!

  86. weaselboy246 says:

    That isn’t racist at all…

  87. Popanator says:

Sad, because even if you bleach their skin, they would still be black an lazy on the inside.

  88. Polywhatene says:

It’s from ‘Not The Nation’ which is the fake version of ‘The Nation’ newspaper published in Thailand.

    • hteb says:

Glad someone else figured it out. Not the Nation is up there with The Onion, “America’s Finest News Source.” Today they have a headline up that says Kim Jong Il’s pancreas has been sent to a labor camp.

The FAIL might be on FailBlog for posting a Fail that was a spoof anyway?

  89. Rachel says:

    ..go on

  90. yeppers says:

If it were real, I’d say it was a Thailand epic WIN.

  91. And in a related story, Sammy Sosa just returned from his 6th trip to Taiwan.

  92. Worldsack says:

America is pretty much the only place that has people with darker skin hues and a belief that skin whiteners are racist. The majority of the world sees skin bleaching agents as a beauty product, so even though this is a fake story, giving someone a gift of skin lightener isn’t as insulting or racist as an American might view it.

    • Istra says:

No the insult and racism had nothing to do with the beauty of lighter skin, but the outright statement, that darker skinned people would be more successful and less likely to live in poverty if they used a whitening cream. It was just stupid and lame for FailBlog to post that at all in my opinion. Definitely a FailBlog FAIL.

  93. Kefka says:

Please tell me this is fake. My faith in humanity was at an all-time low before coming here, and this…I can’t come up with words for this. Please let the following suffice:

    ewffdssdsdfdsjdssweuewfgr,cvmx

Yes, I just banged on the keyboard. Why are you looking at me like that?

  94. Liz says:

Yes, this is fake. This is the source of the article, it looks like a valid website but if you take a closer look you can see its fake, not the mention if you scroll to the bottom is says “For entertainment purposes only.”

  95. Gage says:

this is really funny. i know it is a fake. i read some of the comments. it still makes me laugh though. XD

  96. squelzy says:

    RAAAAAACIIIIIIISSSSSST

  97. McBeff says:

Obviously fake. But hilarious. You people need to take a chill pill. I don’t care who you are, that’s funny stuff.

  98. be radical says:

I wonder how much Haiti donated to Thailand after the tsunami. They should be happy with their new found potential to achieve whiteness.

  99. jared says:

    lame and fake not funny

  100. Jonathan says:

This has got to be from the Onion. Seriously, this can’t be real.

  101. Rick Bradford says:

It’s not real. It’s from a hoax publication called Not The Nation, named after a daily newspaper called The Nation.

  102. Darryl says:

    Fail blog FAIL!!

  103. Rugby says:

I know it’s fake but this is especially funny for me because I come from the Philippines where most people spend tons of money on skin whiteners and glutathione, and refuse to be exposed to the sun. I’ve heard countless statements that start like this: “Yeah, that girl is pretty…if only she didn’t have dark skin.”

I guess Thailand has the same idea that white skin is much better than dark skin. It’s sad, really.

  104. WHITENING CREAM says:

LAWLZZZZZ fake or not this is flipping hilarious.

  105. zing says:

    They need those.

But they have lots of skin bleaching cream that they aren’t using.

  106. LIa says:

SERIOUSLY! THIS IS FAKE PEOPLE! JUST GOOGLE IT! You honestly think outlets like NYtimes and Washington Post wouldn’t jump on a story like this?! Sheesh. I see people talk about how racist Thailand is on other forums. FAILBLOG FAIL!

  107. John Galt says:

OMFG!!! LMFAO!!! ROFL!!! I AM LAUGHING SO HARD I AM CRYING!!! CANT BREATHE CANT BREATHE!!!!!

  108. dom Kaos says:

It just goes to show you can’t be too careful!

  109. TB Tabby says:

I wish I’d found out it was satire sooner. I submitted it to RSTDT!

  110. Carley says:

And just think they were able to be so generous amidst their own internal security issues…

  111. swian says:

    could be worse.

    vigra for the rapist

  112. DikMa says:

    I agree with you completely.

  113. Hello from Ukraine !

    Very interesting article !

I am in a shock to read this, even our people and Russia would not do such a thing !

    Sincerely to you,

    Marina.

    UKR.

  114. Gellner says:

The only fail is all the people that think this is a real news story.

  115. myhaitianguys says:

you have got to be kidding me!!!!

  116. Bernd says:

send saws to cut the bread

  117. bunnybread says:

hahahaha. this isn’t real people. funny stuff though.

  118. Fake says:

This comes from Not the Nation–Thailand’s version of The Onion. The fail is that someone posted this believing it to be true. Fact-checking fail….

  119. ITS TRUE says:

I dont know if the article is real or not ( i doubt it is) but either way its very true……………. the darker your skin the lazier and less educated you are. Hence, the less succesful you are.

OK…………. IM JOKING. WELL…………. IM SORTA JOKING.

  120. bococalady says:

i was going to comment on this, but i pass now.

  121. Pablo says:

Guys… this article isn’t real, it was made by a website that is as reliable as TheOnion.com, i was meant as a JOKE.

  122. kevin says:

The ‘lighter is more successful’ attitude isn’t necessarily race related. Many asians darken slightly with age. This is just one of their ways of looking younger (albiet a stupid one) that predates asian contact with crackers.

  123. PNG says:

I think all of you guys totally missed the point. The fail is that the file is in JPG format.

  124. willi03 says:

I lookz at da website, i thinks iz fake newz like the onion

  125. gawi says:

It’s a spoof. Why is this thing still on?

Is this the end of it’s-funny-because-it’s-true?

  126. nobody says:

fake. let’s remove this. anyone can fake a “funny” fail. failblog is not The Onion.

  127. clearbrite says:

…well,yes..I guess some people must believe that the amount of pigment in a persons skin(or lack thereof) just makes you more successful in life..

    Wow

  128. geomark says:

I was going to say that posting this is a fail because it isn’t a real fail it’s a joke. But then I see some of the comments and the epic fail are the commenters that think it’s a real store.

  129. BigNagger says:

This is from a parody website of an English language Thai newspaper called “The Nation”, not a real news website. http://www.notthenation.com A Thai version of “The Onion” http://www.onion.com

  130. J. Andrews says:

Please take this down. It appearing here takes it out of its original context. And certainly makes it seem real, when it’s not.

    http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/skincream.asp

  131. Fourmile says:

I agree with Geomark. It looks like something from the Onion satirical newspaper, and since I don’t see a source attributed, I assume it probably is.

  132. N-Joint says:

The spirit of Jacko is alive!

  133. Cynaps says:

I can’t believe there are people dumb enough to believe this was a real article. UBER FAIL

  134. Kcmconnect says:

WOW, that was some OFF COLOR humor right ther ;) hehehe

  135. Jeff says:

Fakitty-fake-fake-fake. It would be funny if it was from The Onion, but the whole reason I come to this site is for REAL Fails…not fake crap like this. Please pay attention in the future guys. kthx.

  136. Igetstabby says:

What? The cream doesn’t moisturize? They didn’t donate the good stuff? So what if it ”Whitens,” you think it’ll actually work?
If you’ve just lost some loved ones the last thing you want is dry skin.

  137. ton says:

This is totally untrue!! Pople might misunderstood and thought this is real. Are you sure you want to keep this on your website? If this is a joke, I tell you it’s not funny AT ALL!! I thought Failblog was suppose to be about REAL fails you found in life not something to can just made up.

  138. mikailus says:

No wonder they have a monarchy.

  139. Todd says:

This is completely untrue. It’s an urban myth.

    http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/skincream.asp

  140. *gr* says:

    FAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILfail!

  141. Julia says:

    it cant be serious.

  142. Redazrael says:

I am concerned that anyone still thought this was real by the time they got to the end of the article.

    • Xenon says:

I am concerned tha anyone still thought this was real by the time they got to Failblog’s editor note…

  143. kalita says:

I just hope this is not a belated April fool joke!

  144. kart says:

Man, fake like so many other failblog pics. At least this one was corrected

  145. Mr. Wong says:

wow, that is the most racist thing i have seen from ANY government…EVER!!!

  146. nanomanz says:

it’s just a parody dude. Don’t be too serious about that

  147. Syn says:

i’m thai but this is FAIL!!

  148. This page is of great help for me to select the viable product.

  149. it’s racist because it’s fake. if “Thai” is a race . .

  150. Nemo-kun says:

    I didn’t know my PM is a racist !!!

I even haven’t ever heard this news !!!!!!!!

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!

    • Xenon says:

You also didn’t see this: “Editor’s Note: Thanks to all of the FAILers who commented and wrote in saying that this fail is not for real and is actually from Not The Nation, a news parody website.”

  151. you aLso don’t chanqe niqqa :D
