So when a Self dies and is being buried do they have a sign that says “Self Burial, this way”? And when they get their picture taken, is it always a “Self-portrait”? And when they have children, do they call them “Self-made”? I’ll stop right now.
It’s actually a wine, but neither a grape wine nor straw-bury wine.
It’s actually made out of maple syrup (calling it “mead-like” would almost be mort-ruin a sense.)

The little oak tree says “She never loved you. They say hanging is painless…”
The little cabin says “The pills are in the nightstand. He can’t hurt you anymore if you’re dead…”
The Heritage Trail says “I’ve got a cliff, 1500′ straight down. It’s like flying…”
Actually, for many years when I got on an elevator anywhere in South Florida, when I looked at the inspection certificate it was always signed by “I.M. Self.” I always wondered if that was the actual name of the elevator inspector, or just someone faking the inspections.
You know what they say…if you want to get something done…do it yourself … it now applies to burying yourself (and hope that the weight of the dirt will kill you and dont let you suffocate to death…)
There is a large family in the area of Florien, right outside of Fort Polk named Self. The Self family cemetery is located on the Heritage Trail. For more information regarding the history of the family and the history of Self Cemetery, click here:http://www.self-family.com/

(Look it up.)
In all fairness, ‘Self’ IS an actual last name…
Note to Self: Consider changing last name to avoid confusion.
Actually, for many years when I got on an elevator anywhere in South Florida, when I looked at the inspection certificate it was always signed by “I.M. Self.” I always wondered if that was the actual name of the elevator inspector, or just someone faking the inspections.
They could have easily averted this Fail by simply saying “Self Family” cemetery, but alas that too would have been fail.
how are you suppose to bury yourself when your dead
Not a fail as long as you plan to die in a cave in.
i used to live near there, it’s a last name. as in Thomas Self, or Mary Ann Self. still looks crazy.
So I can bury my achy breaky heart here?
Across the street is a self mortuary.
This whole thing is making me self-conscious…
I don’t want to be buried in a self cemetary…
Putting “you dug your own grave” into realism.
I actually like this, Abby (from NCIS) would probably agree.
Actually…for my family it sorta makes sense. Last name Self and all.
Please check out my new fail video!!
More like “Drive-thru fail”, amirite?
Rest in Peace
For those who prefer to dig their own grave, as some actually did in the past.
You know what they say…if you want to get something done…do it yourself … it now applies to burying yourself (and hope that the weight of the dirt will kill you and dont let you suffocate to death…)
It means you have to dig your own grave and then die all by yourself!!!:)
