the seams around the acrylic panels are compromised. The pressure of the water is finding its way around the seams, causing a significant leak. At this point a pnumatic calking gun and dive gear are necessary. …As well as a call to Rynolds polimer, the contractor that probably installed it.

Not sure, but the seals could fail a number of ways. Poor maintenance, earthquake. It would depend where this was.

This is actually one of the biggest aquarium waterfronts in the world. This is in the Dubai Mall and they evacuated the mall because the whole mall would have flooded but they managed to stop the whole thing from breaking. Shoddy workmanship.

I wonder how they replace it? Do they have an oen ended box with a valve they can place on the inside surface of the tank where the window is so they can replace it and the seal from the outside of the tank, or do they have to drain the whole tank?
dive gear, compressor, air hose to an air powered caulking gun, and about 5 cases of 795 caulking applied from inside the tank. …still full of water. And yes, I do it for a living.
