this lookes like my next door neigbor lol

  10. VeggieTart says:

That’s just wrong on so many levels.

  11. I once saw an actual wheelchair user dress as Superman for Halloween one year… but if he’s not a chair user, then this is in very bad taste.

  12. bernaive says:

so not funny. it’s like mocking christopher reeves, rip. big fail.

  13. Third Planet says:

I don’t care what everyone else says. Costume Win.

  14. Chanceler says:

Reminds me of the best page in the universe, I say it’s a win :)

  15. biscuit says:

Wow…..this is one of the most offensive things I’ve ever seen. I hope that wherever this guy was headed in that outfit and wheelchair, someone beat the holy crap out of him! He deserves it.

It’s only a fail if you trying to do something and FAILED at it….this is supreme, flaming idiocy.

    • fluff your shit says:

Welcome to the internet! failblorg will use anything to get attention so get used to the inappropriate big fail text in the corner.

    • Tempest says:

Wow, if this is one of the most offensive things you’ve ever seen, I recommend that you finally emerge from whatever rock you’ve been sheltering under and buck up.

      • gia pet says:

Agree, the nightly news is way more full of offensive things and don’t get me started on commercials during football games during which my son has to cover his eyes.

    • Jinny says:

Ok, so if he’s really handicapped, he’s not allowed to go dressed as his favorite superhero because that offends you?

    • Outback Jon says:

Well, since most of the folks who would be offended, would also be confined to wheelchairs, the guy is probably safe.

  16. Boutros Boutros Boutros Surprise says:

Win. Albeit not the most tasteful win.

  17. Huck says:

Very wrong. I vote very bad taste!! No tack.

  18. ah0ld says:

I think this is a FAIL

If this guy REALLY needs a wheelchair, then I consider this a costume win.

All together now “They see me rolling, they hating”

  22. Bender says:

    It’s WIN!

  23. tha_dude says:

The trach is supposed to allow him to breath indicating that he is unable to breath on his own. However if that WAS his injury, he would have a powerchair. He is obviously healthy. this is just sick.

  24. -tk- says:

    the flexible tube is wrong
but if he’s really sitting in a wheel chair, the rest is rather a win :)

  25. neuescoon says:

    This should be a WIN!

  26. hexapyro says:

    That’s not even a fail. That’s being a dumb-ass jerk.

  27. Alaor says:

It seems a WIN to me.

  28. Aayin says:

I think you guys are too sensitive. Unless Christopher Reeves was your uncle of something, just get over it. This is a win to me.

    • ~Yeah, because it’s hilarious to make fun of quadripalegics~

      • Hambone says:

Yeah, because making a costume that references a famous person, if he is a quadriplegic, is automatically mocking him, and not just him but all quadriplegics everywhere. You can’t have humor without disparaging everyone associated with the topic of your humor.

This thread is oversensitivity fail. The costume is win.

        • MadManPirate says:

Good point! Also how else would you show it was Reeve that you where paying tribute to in your superman Outfit and not one of the many other people who have played superman or just a tribute the the Character of superman its self?

      • Havoc says:

maybe he’s saying quadriplegics are super?

  29. Bob says:

    Christopher Reeves WIN!!

  30. Koki says:

You kidding? This is a major win right here!

  31. dan2lisa says:

Reeves wanted to kill babies to steal their stem cells without their consent (while we now know that fetus stem cells are useless in healing). I vote WIN!

    • ^Probably someone who voted in Bush twice.

      • MadManPirate says:

        General BondFan4518

No he didn’t vote for Bush twice, No one did.

Most people didn’t vote for once!

        • Avis says:

I know plenty of folks who voted for him twice. He wasn’t elected twice, sure, but some folks voted for him twice. I know some people who would have voted for him a third time if they had been given the chance!
Now, those folks are not friends of mine, but they are related to me.

          • MadManPirate says:

Meh you can choose your friends ………………………

          • nerdygirl says:

We must share relatives. They’re still convinced he was a fabulous president who did everything right.

            • Avis says:

Yeah, my father’s side of the family thinks exactly the same thing. This makes for awkward family gatherings. I’ve finally convinced them that there are some topics best avoided when we all get together. Not that that stops them all the time.

              • MadManPirate says:

He Was and is a Giant jack ass he also was a giant Corporate puppet after money and Daddy’s approval! As Eminem said “strap him with an AK- 47 let him go let him impress daddy that way!”

I believe it is the duty of all politicians to lie cheat steal double cross and be puppets once they have any power at all! or is it just me?

                • Avis says:

There is the possibility that it’s just you. But, politicians are a tricksy breed, so who knows? I like to think there are a few good ones still out there. Somewhere.

                  • MadManPirate says:

There are good ones you know the one the one that at the moment has no power but oh so great are his or her standards and ethics

Then they get in and its all no i never said id do that and i never made those promises and oh that quote is out of context!

It seems to be the rule not the exception for politicians to go corrupt with in minutes of being sworn/signed in!

                  • raelalt says:

That’s what I love about you Avis, always so optimistic. Delusional maybe but still optimistic.
                    .
I am so happy to see you still post here.

                • styx says:

bush was my hero, remember in 1st grade when they said anyone could be president? well he proved that retards could :) plus he was great to make fun of

          • Alaor says:

In fact, he wasn’t elected once, either.

    • Freddie says:

LOL, it’s amazing how remarkably uninformed (read: STUPID) people can be.

    • CER says:

Please tell me you are joking. You OBVIOUSLY just listen to what your pastor tells you instead of actually researching it yourself. You should be sterilized.

      • MadManPirate says:

Stem cell research is one of the most forward fields there is. As for wanting to kill babies your a retard, He was for the use of the stem cells from babies that where to be aborted anyway. So what he was for was that so that Fetus didn’t die in vain!

Stupid Uneducated people who just don’t think or don’t care that they don’t know sweet f all about something

        • Overlord says:

LOL, obviously MadManPirate is not a South Park fan. TV reference fail for you!

          • MadManPirate says:

I am in fact a a south park fan and if the original comment had shown even the slightest reference to the show I wouldnt have commented the way i did but………

And I do think this Picture is funny as i did the reeve’s episode so…….

        • Lizzy says:

There’s a big difference between being aborted and never being implanted. We’re talking about clusters of 16 cells here. An embryo is not a human being just as an acorn is not an oak tree. In any case, it ought to be up to the couple who created the embryos to decide what is done with them. Stem cell research is cutting edge, potentially life-changing science that is being squashed by knee jerk emotionally-based religious dogma that doesn’t understand the science involved, and that is the biggest fail I know.

          • Jinny says:

An embryo is like an acorn that has sprouted, though. In order to get an embryo, you must first plant a seed so that it can grow, otherwise you just have a random egg. If you’re going to spout science like you know it, use the proper terminology in the correct way.

          • Majestic-Marcus says:

Plus, the main thing christians have against the use of research into stem cells is that it can be taken from the ambilical (spelling fail?) cord and not the foetus, eliminating any need for an abortion.

Also just because you believe an embryo isn’t a human doesn’t mean your right.

I do love how people complain about how dogmatic Christians are without realising their own blind almost ‘religious’ belief in an ideal whereby they leave no room for anyone elses opinion.

            • Malfeasant says:

see, that’s the problem- religious people are anti-abortion. stem cells can be harvested from abortions. stem cells can also be harvested from other sources. but until they stop harvesting from abortions, _all_ stem cell research must be looked at with scorn? that makes no sense.
and there generally is a difference in the dogma- yes, each side wants to limit the others behavior, but it’s one side wanting to make it’s own choices free of interference, versus the other side wanting the state to uphold its desire to interfere with other people’s choices.

        • Fred says:

Actually, embryonic stem cell research has yet to product any viable therapies. Meanwhile, adult stem cell research has consistently proven useful. I’ve also read about a case where the skin cells of mice’s tails has been turned into neurons, eliminating the need for stem cells entirely. The only reason companies are so interested in embryonic stem cell research is because they can patent the results, unlike with adult stem cell research where the results can’t be patented.

          • Scythelord says:

Finally someone actually knowledgeable on the subject instead of those who just parrot what they’ve been told.

      • Havoc says:

I’m pretty sure that he never mentioned his pastor, so by definition that is not obvious. Maybe he did research it himself, and this is what he came up with. Sure, he’d be wrong (not to mention retarded for expressing a view like that on Failblog), but at least he’s only being presumptuous and not inserting random information he doesn’t have, declaring it “obvious” AND showing the world a hateful prejudice against an entire religion (that would be YOU).

  32. BazNitch says:

    Poor taste? On FAILBLOG?! NEVER!

  33. Juniper Jupiter says:

    Irony win.
I’ll bet Christopher Reeve’s getting a kick out of this from the astral plateau.

  34. David says:

I’m pretty sure this is win.

  35. Christopher Reeve. says:

    Hi, That’s Me.

I was indeed Christopher Reeve. It was purposefully done in bad taste. The wheel chair was an extra one my neighbor had in his garage.

    That costume SWEPT costume contests.

It was only awkward when a gentleman who actually used a wheel chair showed up to a party that I was attending. I froze, and felt awful. He told me “That’s a funny as hell costume man”.

If anyone had a right to be pissed or ” beat the holy crap out of [me]! Because ….. He deserves it.” It would have been him.

The costume is a joke, if you’re offended, I apologize.

    • hexapyro says:

      Ever heard about Political Correctness?

      • fireblix says:

Jesus Christ, get over it. You make it seem like became a quadriplegic or died yesterday. Honestly if you feel the need to be offended by something that doesn’t involve you in the very least, then by all means do so in private, but don’t go around and tell people how awful they are for having a sense of humor.

      • Russell Miller says:

        f@#$ political correctness.

Seriously. Good going. That’s the kind of costume I’d do if I’d thought of it.

      • gia pet says:

Yep, and I am sick to death of hearing about it!

      • raelalt says:

<2nd try, forgot about the failblog censors)

        F**k political correctness

      • Scythelord says:

I would just like to take this time to ask that all people who prefer to have Political Correctness in society please go DIE IN A FIRE. BURN TO A PILE OF ASHES AND QUIT RUINING MODERN SOCIETY. Thank you for your time.

        • Malfeasant says:

agreed. what’s funny is, things that are considered “offensive” by the PC nazis are the same terms that were once considered safe, even clinical- retarded is a perfect example. the word simply means delayed, it’s been used in many contexts – internal combustion engine ignition timing for example- so it would seem to make sense to apply it to a person whose mental capacities developed more slowly than most. but now, it’s considered a rude insult.
african american is one pc term that bugs me greatly- for one, the obvious, it’s a joke to apply the term to anyone outside of america- but more subtly, what do you call a visiting nigerian? on the other hand, if a person’s family has been here for hundreds of years, how meaningful is the continent their ancestors came from? i don’t have any desire to be called a “european american”… and of course, “native american” is a misnomer as well, native simply means born here, so in that sense, i am a native american…

    • Dani says:

I say EPIC WIN. It’s funny and your clever for thinking of it. People who are offended have no sense of humor.

    • gia pet says:

You win. I used to work with “quads”. Most of them would have either laughed hysterically or at least grinned widely.

    • MadManPirate says:

Never Apologize its pointless the message never gets to those who deserve it and to many others think its owed to them I’d have a guess that Reeve would have found it funny he was known to make cripple jokes about himself more than once so screw em!

    • Jenna Talia says:

If you’re the kip man, I miss you bro, long time since VJing together

      • byron says:

OH! That totally is kipper! I think he’s near the airport lounge! I wasn’t sure at first but now that you said it, I’m convinced.

  36. Krusty says:

Win – If you can’t laugh at other people’s misfortunes, what can you laugh at?

  37. keke says:

    last…i’m original :D

  38. outrofulano says:

Seth MacFarlane sense of humor EPIC WIN!!!

  39. zed77 says:

I’d curb stomp this prick if i saw this. Not even remotely funny.

    • Hambone says:

Oh yeah, well, I’d shoot your entire family if I ever saw you, and all their pets! Then I’d burn down every city your family ever considered living in!

Man, pretending to be an internet tough guy is so much fun. Tell me, Hulk, how many people in your life have you actually curb stomped? (now, as an internet tough guy, you make up a number larger than zero and proudly crow it at us to show us how big your epeen is. Then you challenge me to doubt you with threats against my person if we ever met)

    • oldersister says:

Let me guess: you’re white, male, 14, live in the suburbs, and are usually picked last for teams in gym class.

    • Majestic-Marcus says:

hmm, yes that seems to be an appropriate level of punishment…douche

    • John M says:

HAHAHAHA! I laugh at you, internet tough guy! I break wind in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!

      Now go f–k yourself.

  40. Duke244 says:

You guys are all wrong… the right costume for this boy is stephan hawkings (Y)

  41. KrazyKain says:

wow people are waay too sensitive.. this costume is hillarious

  42. Hollowcaust says:

    This isn’t funny. :/

    • Hambone says:

Yeah, I love that you find it in poor taste to make a costume of Christopher Reeve–which you find to be mocking him, and you make this proclamation under the failblog login Hollowcaust–which of course MUST be making fun of the Holocaust. So it’s ok to mock the killing of millions in gruesome ways, but it’s terrible to mock one celebrity who suffered from a debilitating injury. Unless neither is mocking anything, in which case, where’s the poor taste exactly?

  43. Smitty Wermonhymerjensin says:

Anyone else notice that he looks like a young Tourretes Guy?

  44. Kerilas says:

Not funny. Very offensive. Bad taste. Fail.

  45. Janet says:

Aww… this is effed up man…

  46. TheNevii says:

This is a costume win (or offensive fail) because the man who played superman in many of the early movies broke his neck and became paralyzed.

  47. Jack says:

    Its Christopher Reeve!!!!!!!!!!

  48. Tb323 says:

Just go with the Germans and remember the remarkable word “Shadenfreude” which, in lamen’s terms means, “You fall down and I laugh at you.” Its similar to killjoy, but better because it means you CAN laugh about this kind of stuff. A highly doubt Christopher Reeve looks down and says “I feel violated” when he sees someone wearing this costume. In a sense, its a round about way of showing respect for the man. IMO.

    • highschoolgrad says:

      Wow, aren’t you the scholar?!

Schadenfreude means taking enjoyment from someone else’s pain or troubles.

A killjoy is someone who messes with other people’s enjoyment (whether intentional or not).

      Oh, and it’s “layman.”

  49. Ruyvaert says:

    Sure win!

  50. kyle says:

as far as i’m concerned, no fail has taken place. if anything, this is an epic costume win!

  51. Freyja says:

wonder if he can still fly

  52. Robert says:

i think this is a win, made me laugh very hard

  53. Massadonious says:

Looks like a douchebag regardless of the costume.

  54. zyzzx says:

Its a WIN, he was dressing up as Christopher Reeve, not superman.

  55. miuniu says:

This is a win… failblog makes me sad sometimes

  56. Gone2thedogs says:

That is insensitive (to Chris Reeves) and not at all funny.

  57. supyrman says:

How is this a fail? So what if he’s in a wheel chair? It’s stupid of you people to call it a fail just because of that. Now if it were an Ironman costume, yeah… that would be a fail. This is totally a WIN.

  58. supyrman says:

Wait… I get it now… it’s a fail, because he has brown eyes. Never mind.

  59. ajnds says:

    He met Chuck Norris

  60. Frozenc says:

I sure hope this guy is actually disabled, otherwise my guess is he will be soon.

  61. OCV says:

looks like Captain Hero in Drawn Together where he gives up his super powers and ends up in the wheelchair

  62. ThatGuy says:

Not so super NOW are ya!

  63. Chris says:

christopher reeve was an ass hole
    this is hilarious
    WIN

  64. Vladimir says:

    FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  65. FranktheTank says:

What if this guy is seriously handicapped and just wanted to be superman for halloween?

  66. Jacob654951 says:

That’s a huge win if you ask me. I’d go around and if people siad anything about it I’d tell them I’m really paralyzed.

  67. Schmitt says:

    Costume fail or reality win?

  68. Gabe says:

this is a win for me

  69. uvulu says:

Looks like this is treading on the really thin line between FAIL and WIN

  70. CattOfTheGarage says:

Why can’t I see any of these pictures? It’s been like this all week! FailBlog is failing me.

  71. Summer says:

If the chair is part of the costume- huge fail for gross insensitivity.
If the chair is real, then its a great big win.
There’s no way to know from the picture alone.

I would have said it shouldnt have been posted at all because that key information is unknown, but no one asked me.

  72. bee says:

clearly a christopher reeve joke WIN, not a superman fail..

  73. ww1flyingace says:

    This is a super fail

  74. RichMahogany says:

    Too soon…

  75. tommy49er says:

clearly this is win. and thats the joke of the costume.

    so we have a WINRAR!!!

    /thread

  76. Mega says:

    Jee-zus….

  77. rizzo says:

    Its Christopher reeve total win!!

  78. Brian says:

Lot of hypocrisy in these comments. This is hardly the first photo that was in questionable taste, and now because people loved Superman and Christopher Reeve, its a horrible thing? It was ok to laugh at the misfortune of others but not this time around?

    Get over yourselves, people.

    • icwatudid says:

I knew that someone had to have already said exactly what I was thinking… we’ve laughed at obesity, racism, special needs people, and the homeless, just to name a few…

  79. getoveryourself says:

Christopher REEVE (for you nitpickers) was an arrogant ass. Not that he deserved what happened to him. But he never cared a bit about the plight of the disabled until he became disabled. Then he was a whining, sniveling baby. The costume was funny. Those of you that are offened need to get over yourselves.

  80. Leslie says:

What’s wrong with the costume, he’s just trying to be Christopher Reeve.

  81. Jance says:

Yeah, I don’t see what the big deal is. He’s clearly Christopher Reeves.

  82. Anne says:

This is offensive. The fact that a fan wearing Christopher Reeve’s costume in a wheelchair is considered a fail is disheartening. In my opinion this is a win! Christopher Reeve was an amazing man, a great actor and did many great things in his lifetime. This picture with the caption “fail” should be taken down.

  83. travis says:

There was a skit a comedian did about this

  84. helenabucket says:

Okay, let’s see. To sum up:

    1. Offensive? Definitely. Really, really poor taste.
    2. Funny? Pretty much.
    3. Clever? Yeah. Who sits around and thinks, “I have a Superman costume, a neckbrace, some tubing and my neighbor has a wheelchair. Hmmmm…”?

The man who’s in the photo already said that another handicapped person he met thought this was funny. That doesn’t excuse it, but I’m just sayin’.

OTOH, NOBODY seems to think it’s in bad taste to dress up as Freddy Krueger. The character was a burn victim and CHILD MOLESTOR!!!!!

    But that’s okay, right?

    • 3dham says:

They never said in the movies the Fred Kruger molested children, only that he murdered him. One might argue that they implied tht he did other things to them first, but it is only implied , never actually stated.

Or perhaps it’s not even implied, but simply inferred by people who watch the movie, or, more likely, have merely heard about it, since most people who denounce Freddy as merely a child molester or slasher have never actually seen any of the movies in their entirety.

    • The Moomin says:

On the other hand, Christopher Reeve did actually break his neck and end up in a wheelchair while Freddy Krueger didn’t actually kill any children as he is fictional, and so were the children.

    • helenabucket says:

      I writed:
“The character was a burn victim and CHILD MOLESTOR!!!!!”

Oh, Jeez. Did i misspell “molester?” Really, it doesn’t help to be someone schooling people on how dumb they are if you don’t bother to proofread your comments. Maybe I should’ve thrown a random “1″ into those exclamation points for good measure.

Personal facepalm. Mea culpa. I’m a dumbass.

  85. Dave says:

This is the most tasteless and offensive things I’ve ever seen on the site. Not only it insults Christopher Reeve, but to an extent, it also offends the man who played Superman in the original TV series, George Reeves.

  86. Buster says:

i think this photo is offensive

  87. Bob says:

should’ve stayed away from that kryptonite mhmm..

  88. insertCoin says:

    First i lol’d, but the i was like D:

  89. YO DAWG says:

    WIN FTW!

  90. ryan says:

pretty harsh, but it is canny funny so iv gotta say win

  91. Ivan Ohhg says:

OMG WTF, what an idiot :D

  92. Daniel says:

    Christopher Reeve, FTW

  93. Dylan says:

have any of you people that are saying this is offensive even thought that the guy in the wheel chair might actually be handicap and wanted to dress up as superman, not even thinking about making fun of christopher reeve….? idk, just something to think about…..

  94. Rizz Rustbolt says:

(Picture taken shortly before being punched in the face.)

  95. Das Soviet says:

looks like this one never got off the ground… FAIL!!!

  96. Patty says:

Very poor taste. Fail. And fail to all of you that think it’s “awesome and a win” You have no taste.

  97. Charles says:

    RIP Christopher Reeve.

  98. Little Girl Blue >ZAP!< Dot Org - Marius's Sista From Another Mista says:

This has GOT to be a record number of non-regular replies. Superman has got everyone so revved-up?

  99. Andrew says:

This guy is my hero. you cant make fun of this guy. how hard would it be to wake up with a breathing tube and wheel chair and still have the self determination to dress up as superman. i shun all who insult him.

  100. Christopher Reeve says:

    Okay.

    No, I am not handicapped.

Yes, the joke was offensive. That’s why it was funny.

I consider finding this picture on fail blog a huge success. I’m a big fan, one of the only photo blogs I check regularly.

Sure, I wish it had been submitted as a win, and I thank all of the passionate blog posters who supported and got the joke. But I’m happy with any sort of presence on fail blog.

Regretfully, I have yet to be able to top the offensiveness of this costume. That photo was taken in 2005, and it’s still fresh in many people’s minds.

Once again, if this photo offends you. I’m sorry, but that’s kind of the point.

    • Avis says:

Oh, don’t worry, most of us regulars got the joke AND thought it was funny. At least, I think so. I for one think the costume great! I also have gotten into hot water over costumes before…

    • InvincibleSummer says:

I am disabled, and I do use a wheelchair, and I think this is pretty damn funny! Life is far too short to take seriously. For Halloween I dressed up as a devil and was Hell on Wheels. I applaud your creativity, and I think you will find many people with disabilities or medical issues appreciate a good dark sense of humor.

    • Jessicat says:

Kipper, I love you! You’re effing awesome and I thought it was cool/weird to run across this picture on here.

  101. good job! says:

i’m surprised that my buddy didn’t submit this himself. yes, he is supposed to be christopher reeve, this was the halloween just after his death. we got harassed left and right that night, which was the point. epic win!

Christopher Reeve would probably kick that guy’s ass if he were alive to see this..

  118. Hoges says:

I think the guy is genuinely handicapped. His hands and fingers look wasted and atrophied. Legs are harder to tell because of the angle and the costume. I say outlook and sense of humor WIN.

    • Christopher Reeve says:

Once again, read the previous comments. I am not nor was I handicapped at the time of this costume. That’s the joke.

  126. Ahetma Vaakenjaab says:

Almost as bad as the time I went to a costume party dressed up as JFK with half a head. If you can’t make fun of the maimed and disabled, who can you make fun of?

  127. Josh says:

That is just COLD. It is mean spirited and evil. The guy who dressed as this is just plain evil and classless……

And I’m going to hell for laughing at it!!!!! :-P

  128. sir cream cheese says:

  149. Christopher Reeve says:

Would the person that submitted this picture please stand up? My friends and I are very curious as to how you found it.

I mean, it was on my myspace profile, so it wasn’t too hard to come by, but the question is do we know each other?

    • lots of people are eejits says:

  157. styx says:

I know the guy, he is healthy, and can walk. And unless he has an exact twin who wore the exact costume, and jacked the same kinda wheelchair from the back of walmart, then I know this guy. Epic win.

    • Christopher Reeve says:

I don’t want to say my name on here, but I think it’s safe for you to mention who you are.

      • angelsara007 says:

Dude, you are so awesome. This is a total WIN! You have always had the best costumes. Even in high school. I vote that all of your costumes are EPIC WINS!! I miss your fantastic personality and wonderful sense of humor!

  158. Jake says:

Who took this picture? The same person that took the picture of Aquaman dead in the bathtub?

  159. Stupidmonkee11 says:

Not very super now is he?

  160. Guilty. says:

Is the neck brace just a part of the costume?

    • Christopher Reeve says:

      Part of the costume.

The tubes are from an aquarium, the superman costume was from a Halloween super store, and the most expensive part of the whole thing. The neck brace was purchased at a CVS.

  161. prokercal says:

    Going to Hell !!!! Ahahahahahahah!

  162. DTS says:

This is a total win, the guy has a sense of humor and the personal drive to move forward in spite of his own personal hardships. He can take a joke and be one of the guys. God bless him on this.

Fail? this is a complete win.

  167. Sadie says:

I don’t get it he just got hurt before halloween… it’s sad really :(

    • Christopher Reeve says:

C’mon, really? That wheel chair is from the 50′s or something. Why would anyone roll around in a wheelchair that old.

Once again, that’s me in the photo. I have no physical disabilities, the costume was a joke.

  168. carny says:

    moAr like costume win!!!

  174. P says:

    fail? pffft, FTW!!

  175. Ruyvaert says:

Note: He is NOT dressing up like Christopher Reeve, NOR is he dressed like superman.

Reeve did not wear a superman costume in his wheelchair and
Superman did not have a wheelchair at all.

He is actually mixing character and actor in this costume and by doing so he is the first impersonation of the irony we all know as the fact that the superman actor was in a wheelchair. That’s an Epic Win to me.

  176. Raptor007 says:

Did some guy in a wheelchair get dressed up as Superman for Halloween, only to have everyone on the internet make fun of him for his handicap? Sad. :¬(

  177. AbdelAzeez says:

C’mon people, dont make fun of someone with a handicap. Grow up.
You wouldn’t like people making fun of you if you (God Forbid) happen to lose your legs/break your neck in an accident but love a character so much you want to wear a costume like him.

Don’t be such retards now! There’s gotta be many more opportunities to find stuff worth laughing at other than this one, so pass this one for now.

    • angelsara007 says:

Wait, you say “don’t make fun of someone with a handicap”, then call everyone “retards”. Yeah, that is offensive to people with mental disabilities. In short, you are making fun of people with handicaps.

      Chastise Fail!

  178. Kevin says:

    This is very offensive.

  179. John says:

    So much win!

  180. Liquid Monkey says:

    What? Too soon?

  181. sarah lily says:

boo to this turd for finding humor in his situation!

  182. cipher_nemo says:

Oh man, that is hilarious! :) No offense to the poor actor, but this has irony that’s just too funny to ignore for a costume. :D

  183. Vinura says:

    This is major WIN

  184. Mike Evans says:

I gotta give him points for shear balls, It’s funny, but I would never have the guts to do that

That seems about right. It’s got some win in there.

  186. Horrible says:

The original Superman is in a wheelchair and I think something is wrong with his neck/spine. This is just like the real one.

  187. Striker says:

This was definitely a win. What the hell. I laughed so hard. That guy rules.

  188. Lindsey says:

come on guys, the wheelchair is fake. he’s impersonating christofer reeves, and it’s discusting. that’s why there’s that tube too. CR had one to breathe

  189. oh dear, that’s not even funny!

  190. silent&sound says:

That’s a win in my book.

Somewhat crude, but still a win. :D

  191. agrafka says:

    definitely a win!

  192. Voice of Reason says:

I use a wheelchair and was Christopher Reeve two halloweens ago. Although, I wore a skirt, trying to go for more of a SuperGirl look, the idea was still the same. I was going with the insider v. outsider rule to an extent. And that guy is not a regular wheelchair user. It is possible that he is temporally injured, however no regular wheelchair user under 50 uses that type of chair!

  193. Gabriell blahh says:

lol yea he’s superman all right

  194. hoal time says:

Able to leap tall buildings with the use of a freight elevator.

  195. xFOADx says:

    !!!WIN!!!

  196. Yield says:

Epic F-ing insta-win!!!!!!!! This is GREAT and it looks like a decent quality costume too.
Better than some skank in a “timmy’s ho” costume. THAT is fail, imo.

  197. Dumb moron who doesn't know what the hell he is talking about says:

Actually pretty win in my opinion.

  198. OwyJoey says:

  199. marion says:

Um, why is dressing up as a disabled person offensive? : <

  200. failer says:

    Looks like WIN to me….

  201. Tracy says:

Dude, that was so rude. It boggles the mind. Apparently you don’t have a mind or manners. I hope you trip over a boulder of Kryptonite.

  202. Matt says:

I think that my be the funniest costume I’ve ever seen. I was laughing so hard for so long that i started crying.

    Absolutely hilarious!

Tasteless WIN. Hilarious, but I feel like crap for feeling that way :)

  205. Mr. T says:

    Costume WIN 100%

  206. Bradley says:

Thats not a fail because Christopher Reeve was the first Superman and thats is what happend to him in his later years.

  207. banana says:

I feel that this is more of a win than a fail…

  208. GrammerKnottzi says:

Did anyone else notice that it’s beginning to look like /b/ in here? U:

  209. argentinass says:

WTF!!!!!! dude that guy it’s so sensible as family guy and i mean it

  210. Isar says:

    woa, that’s soo rude….
can s/o please breake his legs?

  211. GoddamnBatman says:

That’s cruel to label as a fail.

  212. Oh man, that is hilarious! :) No offense to the poor actor, but this has irony that’s just too funny to ignore for a costume. :D

  213. paul says:

How does one come up with that idea?

  214. Mollir says:

Well it seems you people don’t have hearts. How would you like it if you were disbaled and people teased you like you are teasing him. Don’t judge someone untill you walk (or wheel) a mile in their shoes
