i know mate, i hate it when this stuff happens. I bet he had no thought in his mind of hitting a pole today when he left his house, but i bet they designed that pole to withstand a car hitting it. really he was testing out the workmanship on the pole. he left his numberplate there so he could give them a full report on how the pole performed. THUMBS UP FROM ME!!!
I knew a guy who was knocked down by a drunk driver who did the same thing – left his bumber with his registration plate lying next to the boy he had left for dead.
Yeah – he went to prison!
the car was just trying to get into a tight parking place when it slipped and accidentally the pole.
One always leaves a bit of one’s identity behind when there is a massive pole involved.
subliminal messages!!!
look at the license plate, it spells 666…
omg it’s everywhere, i’m going nuts o_O
AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGHG where’s your tinfoil gear when you need it
From most vehicle jurisdictions, both registration plates need to be displayed on both the front and back of cars and jeeps, while only one plate needs to be displayed on the back of motorcycles. So they may be able to track down the car that lost its bumper and give it back as insurance, if they can find it.
Ford Pinto? Hmmm … no, it has the license plate between the tail lights. Not the bumper, with the lights in it. I wonder how this person managed to dent this part and still keep the bumper? Maybe they did this before and lost the bumper already. I can just see it: “Police have now added the final piece to their collection of parts necessary to determine the identity of the serial hit-and-run driver who has been terrorizing light poles throughout town for the last six Friday nights. News at 11.”
I accidentally started a slip’n'slide chain reaction during an ice storm about 12 years ago. I had just gotten this brand spanking new Saturn SL2 a month before. After said slip’n'slide where my car was hit by a lunch truck (my fault, I was trying to get out of the median) the driver in that truck was nice enough to take me to the ER because my back locked up and would not relax. He had hit the gas tank side of my car, so I left the car back in the median. I figured, “Eh, fark it, if the cops got a problem with it, the plates are on it.” Then a cop did stop by, and s/he got rearended by a co-worker of my husband’s! About ten vehicles were hit altogether, but I was the only one who went to the ER. Lucky. And the co-worker who hit the cop got a ticket, but was able to fight it off, even w/o my help (I did offer).
ha thats a bumper from a nissan hardbody truck lol and for who ever thought that was a strut lmao thats the cap for the street light globe, anyway the truck doesnt have struts but i can see how this happened my guess is it was a drunk teen or really drunk adult that in all honesty didnt wanna pay the price for getting caught drinking and driving and when they realized they could leave the did so in a rush and jus said screw the bumper not thinkin hmmm my plate was on that they can still find me haha either way lessoned learned and thanks for the texas comments guys were not all idiots
This was in Lubbock, TX about 2 blocks from the Texas Tech Campus. The drunk return for their bumper about 3pm the next day or about an hour after the photo was taken. The license plate isnt blurred because they shouldnt have left it there.
meh
Mooh
i guess they’ll find him by the plate he left
damn, it’s soooo obvious, i’m sorry.
That car shouldn’t be running, looks like a part of its strut is gone.
maybe it was a hit’n'push back home
it’s only gay if you push back
i thought it would be gay to rub back
or arch back
but it’s all acceptable if there is a bit of reach-around action going on. It takes a real man to take one up the schiffer!
Nice come back.
cum on your back
oops, i meant “come on, you’re back”
Omgz, were did he go? ):
he came and went
why thank you! *longtimenomanlysqueeze*
Top of the pole, not a strut.
I’m pretty sure that’s part of the street light he hit…
So she’s struck again. Give me some credit!
Also obvious is that the caption should be “How will they ever find HER”
No, because a women isn’t stupid enough to leave the evidence behind.
plus on average women are better drivers than men anyway.
Is that Homer Simpson??
i would have sooo enjoyed it if the thing however it’s called would have destroyed the wheel case
Just him the clamps, Clamps!
*facepalm*
Just GIVE him the clamps, Clamps!
Failblog is lame now because of things like this.

what a funny place for a pole anyway.
Clearly it’s the poles fault!

I once saw a dead bumbler. Bummer!
did he get bummed in prison?
Possibly. I don’t know how common bumming in prison is in this country
this fail failed to peak interest.

Hit and run fail. And damn, that’s a tough pole!

Jim Halpert – The Office Season 2 (the injury)
*tries really hard not to make a crack about Texas…*
Good to know the license plate wasnt blurred out in this pic. Now we can find out who the douche was and pizza bomb them.
