i hope she drew out £10,000 before returning to the car.. so when the handbag falls off, someone will pick it up and take the £10,000…. which means she woud have paid dearly for her retarded mistake… some people should just be shot.
Agreed. And the “low quality” aspect (making it look more like a snapshot instead of a staged photo) looks photoshopped, as well. Normally I don’t bother with “fake!” comments, but since this IS a cliche, it’s not even a particularly interesting or amusing fake. If a fake entertains me, that’s fine, it’s why I’m here. I’ll also accept a lame real “Fail”, considering some people even fail when they fail. However, an un-amusing fake is just… *shrug* no fun.
Not to mention, if it was real, the minute she started moving the coffee and possibly the shopping bag would have fallen. So if it’s not ‘shopped, there’s superglue involved. lol
i must say… the bald man is definitely the best part of the whole picture… real or not. he’s that man that feels he must lean all the way out the window to inform you something is wrong. there’s always that one person.
Uuuhh… this is my first post, ever, but seriously: side view mirror just happens to block the license plate, bald guy cartoonishly leaning out his window, groceries perfectly stacked and balanced and…if a woman had her purse over her shoulder, her groceries in her left hand and a coffee in her right (based on object placement from driver’s side approach) then why/how would she put her purse Behind her coffee, closer to the center of the car? They would be linear, from her left to right (but then you wouldn’t see the coffee from the rear view.) Plus, a photographer who had the proper camera and time to blur the fore and backgrounds in traffic? This is staged. Failure to fail.
Did I mention completely unmarked products? The brown paper bag, the stuff in it, the coffee cup, both cars, and again, the license plate… nothing is recognizable… on purpose.
The first tip off for me is why she would put all of that on top of the roof? What else was she holding that she had to put everything on the roof. Wouldn’t you put the groceries in the trunk, back seat, or elsewhere. And what was she holding that she had to put her purse on the roof. Wouldn’t she get the purse down to get her car keys?
I say it is a photoshop fail. An unbalance shopping bag in that position would not have survived any movement of the car. Besides I can see no indication that the women is on her cell phone, which you KNOW she would have been.
Not sure about the ad, but it sure is an old pic, and, as it was pointed out before, a carefully composed one… Look at the noise, no cell phone camera, cheap point & shoot or expensive DSLR creates that sort of noise, that’s good old fashioned film grain. Also, look at the depth of field, you need a bigass lens for that effect. Unless you are one of those old fashioned pro photographers, you ain’t gonna haul around the photo gear necessary for this shot.
Busy Mom syndrome…you know you have it. I’ve seen worse. I saw a woman put the baby seat on the roof and drive off. Luckily, someone else saw it and stopped her before she got out of the parking lot.
And my Father did this, with a shopping bag. Believe it or not, shopping bags will stay on the roof for a half decent amount of time if they are heavy enough.
meh
I say extra storage space win. Think of all the stuff you’ll be able to fit inside the car now.
i hope she drew out £10,000 before returning to the car.. so when the handbag falls off, someone will pick it up and take the £10,000…. which means she woud have paid dearly for her retarded mistake… some people should just be shot.
Wow. Were you left on the roof of a car as a child?
Hey, lady: you forgot to put your baby up there to hold the groceries!
The baby is holding the steering wheel already.
The word cliché… Is funny if you think about it.
Watch out for the overpass.
It will be OK till someone makes an underpass at her.
I’m willing to guess this is a woman!!!(kinda obv cause of the bag mind!)
hahaha
could be a tranny
I carry my shopping on my head too, distributes the weight throughout the body.
You mean the head of the car? I think that’s called roof.
Unless your car has a head, then it’s a toilet.
i also failed like this once, had a cup of coke on the roof and when i drove backwards BAM! all over the windshield.
A sticky situation indeed.
Did you died?
no! read the post, he didn’t drink it!
actually i did a diet because i did not drink it
Haha, now pay attention to capitalization, get an avatar and you’re in for a treat.
and how can i provide myself with such a glorious luxury item like an avatar?
en.gravatar.com
I failed using gravatar =/
If you uploaded a pic etc. clear your cache.
oh wait..
okay now i’ve got it. thanks k@ (:
Look… Shaun has a monobrow.
*giggles*
no that’s called “hair”
best thing for cleaning a windshield….diet soda…I use it all the time *L*
The traffic lights look photoshopped in. Looks like a car in a parking space.
I must say that this looks indeed staged, with the meat cap guy leaning out of his window and the paper bag skillfully balancing on the roof and all.

yes I agree with conformist138 on this one yes
*snork*
Okay, or…maybe less?
I don’t care.
The bald guy was painted by Edward Hopper.
looks more like a darger illustration
Not to mention, if it was real, the minute she started moving the coffee and possibly the shopping bag would have fallen. So if it’s not ‘shopped, there’s superglue involved. lol
and the side view mirror perfectly covering the license plate…
Yeah, just like the moon landing was photoshopped.
Roof ornament fail.
Nice smooth driving, though. Credit where it’s due…
There’s a couple of dead bodies in the trunk, no space for groceries.
should have tied them to the roof
mmm strap-on dead people
dead people should always have a strap-on when riding in a car
slow motion
I’ll have that coffee to go, please.
where would you like it?
The cliche is missing the baby on the roof.
…it appears to be driving the car behind.
obviously shopped
Me too, it was only a midweek bits and bobs one though.
snap! I was also out bobbing for bits!
*squeeze!*
*appletartsqueeze*
Always!
*conjourdances*
*head rotates 360 degrees*
your will be done
Custard, not pea soup!
Ewwwwwwwww, that won’t be nice with apple tart you know.
*sigh
*attempts to eat it up again*
sorry about that
i think your right…. tomorrow i’ll try and drive with a full coffee on my car (for science) but that looks impossible cause of the tilt
i must say… the bald man is definitely the best part of the whole picture… real or not. he’s that man that feels he must lean all the way out the window to inform you something is wrong. there’s always that one person.
*looks around frantically*
*hides among the potatoes*
Perhaps he must lean out because he tied a deer on the hood of his car and it blocks the view

congradulations. you’ve solved your first case. this message will self destruct.
ehem. since no one has bothered to say it yet, i would just like to say…
FIRST!!!
Did it cross your mind that there may be a reason why no one bothered to say it yet?
SECOND
*ahem…..we do not do that!
5th!111!!!!0o0o0
These performance artists, always taking it to the next level…
I think i already saw this situation in a movie oO
Don’t ask me, which one, i just got the feeling.

ha. don’t tell me that you all have never left anything on the roof of your car…just hope you remembered it was up there before you drove off.

LAST
sorry, not quite.
why is it that people always have to ruin something funny? if it is indeed staged, let it be.
Is that… is that Walter?
He scares the crap out of me! Achmed FTW
I say it is a photoshop fail. An unbalance shopping bag in that position would not have survived any movement of the car. Besides I can see no indication that the women is on her cell phone, which you KNOW she would have been.
you can easily tell this is a old pic for an add about forgetting stuff lol.

That’s so clearly photoshopped – all the stuff would have gone flying as soon as the car started moving.
that guys bald head is a FAIL
FAKE AND GAY
why has nobody else noticed that the car in the background is flying?
Smooth acceleration win!
This is like a perfect stock photo for forgetfulness.
Free coffee!
Busy Mom syndrome…you know you have it. I’ve seen worse. I saw a woman put the baby seat on the roof and drive off. Luckily, someone else saw it and stopped her before she got out of the parking lot.
…there was a baby in the seat at the time.
And my Father did this, with a shopping bag. Believe it or not, shopping bags will stay on the roof for a half decent amount of time if they are heavy enough.
lmfao women drivers
But Driver WIN.
I hate to break the chain but I don’t think this is photoshopped.
If it is they did an excellent job of placing shadows in the correct places. JS.
Ummm mommy? the chicken just leaked on me……
I’ve witnessed something like this. It turned out the woman was suffering the early stages of dementia.
The bald guy sticking his head out the window is going to get hit in the face with a purse and a bag of groceries.
notice its a purse, therefore a woman…
Has it occurred to anyone that this might be the flag for that night’s Party Crashing?
Thank you! I thought nobody would mention this!
Total Fail! Valuables have to be kept in the boot, not on the roof!
You forgot to put your coffee there too.
So, is the cliche in the license plate being fire dept, as in “where’s the fire?!” to someone in a hurry?
you forgot something man
