It still sucks becuse it still is in imperial (which is used only in the US) not in metric (which is used in the rest of the world) and Longcat has still a fixed height (10,000 ft) and not simply “over 9000”.
Get a sense of humor.
Wow, is this the same shirt that was only available to purchase from 25 December 2009 until 27 December 2009, and then was GONE FOREVER? Someone needs to go look up “forever” in a dictionary – I’m fairly certain it’s not a synonym for “until next month”.
This is the fail in this post.
This is not the first. Earlier this week they had a re-run of the “one time only” evolution shirt.
Perhaps they printed too many, or ran out of ideas? Regardless, I can sort of see how the original business model may not work so well. “Limited edition” now.

Nope — a lot of us were asking to buy the shirts after they were gone. I bet they do it again later — I think it’s pretty cool. Already got my shirt.

I am curious. Why is there a “women’s” style shirt, yet the ‘men’s’ shirt is also considered ‘unisex’? It appears that you are perpetuating the “male is default, women is not” dichotomy.
Why not just offer the two different cuts as ’standard’ and ’slim’? I’m sure there are other alternatives to the two I proposed. It would be really great if that change could be made.
Despite the fact that this comment could be construed as complaining just for the sake of complaining, I really love the cheezeburger network of sites. They bring great funny and levity to me everyday. I just think it could be slightly better in the merch department.

LOL, the only fail I see is in the comments of the people who are pissed off about this. It’s a shirt, yes it’s based off of a meme, last time I checked memes aren’t owned by anyone. So if someone wants to make shirts based on memes go right ahead, it’s fine by me.

Have you already run out of other people’s ideas to steal for your shitty shirts? Here’s a new idea: a failblog shirt with the Lolcats or Failblog logo on it. Your sites are full of stolen content.
I keep browsing the site, and these… these abortions keep popping up. I love the site, but the shirts are so utterly deplorable it’s upsetting and rage-inducing. Was there no market research done at all? And what’s worse, I see no sign of it stopping. Rather than paying attention to how their “product” is faring [and the reaction is a very resonant "No" across the board, every time], they just… keep pumping more of it out.
Whoever is marketing this garbage has completely underestimated the age of their target group by about twenty to thirty years, let alone the mentality. In a year or two, I forsee them shutting the sites down from lack of incoming revenue and being completely ignorant as to why.
Also, did they gank their writer from Lillian Vernan? Stop talking to us like we have grandchildren! You are not being cute, you are being an eyesore.
I do find it ironic that the crap they try to sell to us is the same garbage we’d post to make fun of. It’s like they’ve removed the middle man.
I suspect these are actually a joke, considering how freaking horrid they are, and that none of them are actually for sale. This is the lie that allows me to sleep at night.
