well i for one find diseases like this funny and would expect no less from anyone else should they observe me under the affect of such a disease because i wouldnt f*cking know what was going on and even if i did id hopefully still remember that i laughed like them before
wtf is this?!?!
last time I checked failblog was a website that shows funny fails.
This is just discrimination against a handicaped person!!!…
sad, poor(not her, failblog!) and just not funny.
Please TAKE IT OFF THE SITE!
Yeah, agreed. Mental disabilities…not funny. I kept hoping that the guy next to her was about to do something fail…that it was him we were laughing at, not this poor woman. Whoever posted this, fail. Big fail.
I also agree this video should never have been posted. This person clearly has some sort of disability, possibly schizophrenia.
To the person who took this video:
Why don’t you hang around a VA hospital or a school for crippled children. I’m sure you can get some hilarious shots of people falling out of their wheelchairs or tripping on their crutches. Real funny stuff.
BTW if you’re too dense to get it, that’s sarcasm, you insensitive piece of sh*t.
And a big “f*ck you” to fail blog for posting this.
And before the dipsh*ts tell me to “lighten up”, let me add this:
I have a schizophrenic brother. I have heard him screaming at night at the demons only he can hear; I have seen him flailing his arms at monsters only he can see; I’ve seen him laugh at jokes only he can hear.
Mental illness is not entertaining; it is tragic and terrifying. Tragic because the person with the illness suffers EVERY DAY of their life. Terrifying because diseases like schizophrenia can strike any young person; usually in the prime of their life.
My brother was diagnosed at 20 years of age. He’s 50 now, and must take several medications a day, in order to behave “normally”. But he still hears the voices and hallucinates. And the drugs make him feel tired, numb, and depressed. Ask him how funny he thinks it is.
I come to failblog to laugh at the unintended screw-ups we are all apt to make; not to mock the unfortunate innocent victims of horrible illnesses.
I agree, this is a new low for failblog. I don’t come here to expect politically correct humour, but having a go at somebody who is clearly mentally ill is pathetic.
Can you prove to me that this person in the video has a mental disability? Sure, it looks like it, but I’ve seen people do crazy things on airplanes for no reason.
Can anyone here prove she’s not? What kind of person would make fun of her w/o knowing whether she is sick or not? I’ll tell you what kind; immature and/or callous people. I expect children to laugh, and for the adults in their life to point out why that is wrong. If you are over 13, and you are laughing at this woman, you just might be an as*hole.
The subtitle of the video says “Sanity FAIL” . Therefore the blog owners are themselves suggesting she is insane, and that mental illness is a “fail” that should be ridiculed. Would they also say a person with cerebral palsy or Parkinson’s disease had failed, and encourage people to laugh? Are the tremors of Michael J Fox and a drooling Stephen Hawking also FAILS according to this blog?
And they don’t even attempt to hide her identity, which would at least preserve her dignity and privacy. Really low. It would serve them right if they get sued by the family.
Those who laugh at this woman, and then want to convince themselves that there is nothing wrong with her, if that’s what it takes to make you feel better about your reaction, go ahead and lie to yourself. And hope that you or someone you love is not stricken with a terrible disease.
Yeah, I visit an Alzheimer’s ward at a nursing home every day to see my elderly father, the man who loved me and raised me, and to see a bright, witty, and funny mind that has been ravaged by a disease. You should visit such ward one sometime so you can appreciate the humor that is alzheimer’s.
Why so serious? I fail to find humor in a disease that has caused the person who has loved me and raised me to no longer recognize me. It is a living death. That is why.
my biological father died in a fire, and you have pyro in ur name. How can u joke about pyromaniacs you insensitive jerk.do you admire pyromaniacs…creep.
god u guys are morons people make up stories about their parents disabilities or deaths to get attention, probly not even half of the stories about dead parents, or break ups, or whatever, you read are real
Amen. My great-grandmother developed Alzheimer’s in her early 70s–a woman who, up to that point, had been a loving, caring, physically strong wife and mother. Not only did she forget who we were, she grew uncontrollably violent, and so had to be put into long-term care, where the disease left her a frail shell with no ability to function, mentally or physically, until her death at 79. Add to that, my mother’s youngest brother developed Alzheimer’s at the ungodly young age of 37, and died at 42, unable to recognise his wife, who nursed him until he died. “Funny” is the last thing that it is.
coming from a health professional: some mental disorders can frequently be funny to observe. If you don’t take a moment and laugh at the situation, you’d crumble under the weight of the despair.
this is funny. alzheimers, not so much. but this is funny.
I agree. I’m a mental health professional and seeing things like this… perhaps this person doesn’t have a mental health problem, but there’s always that possibility judging by the way they’re acting… I just don’t see the humor in this. It makes me sad.
you’ve never laughed about a patient? that, more than the video, should make us sad.
if someone were to tell you she were doing this voluntarily, it’d be funny. so laugh at the surface of it, then worry yourself about whats beneath, if you’re so inclined.
I’m not a mental health professional, but I can absolutely understand that mentality!
Many times, you can either laugh or cry… Find humor in a situation, or be crippled by the hopelessness.
This works for some people and not others.
While most people can laugh but still understand the seriousness, some just take everything as a joke and those are the people who give us all a bad name.
It is one thing for you, someone who has to deal with crazy behavior all day long, to try to lighten your load with humor amongst other health care professionals. I have no problem with that attitude. You’ve got a tough job.
But, IMO, it’s pretty unprofessional, and very insensitive to mentally ill people and their families, to encourage the general public to laugh at the mentally disabled.
The mentally ill suffer enough. They don’t need the people who are supposed to be helping them, encouraging others to see them as entertainment.
I dont think Alzheimer’s is a laughing matter, or that this woman should be laughed at either, i just dont think that what this woman is displaying is Alzheimer’s. To me it looks more like Autism. One of my best friends has a brother who has acute Autism and it looks almost exactly like this.
Nope. Tourette is different than that. People with Tourettes syndrom don’t have a mental handicap like this person seems to have. Either way, nothing to laugh at.
You don’t know what you would want if you were “crazy”. You are not crazy, you have no idea what it’s like to have a mental disability or illness.
If you do have such problems one day, then you will discover people with mental disabilities are avoided by pretty much everyone but those who love them.
For most people, it doesn’t matter that your disability just makes you a little bit strange (not dangerous nor a nuisance). The simple fact that you’re somehow abnormal and that it’s a psychological problem will make people avoid you. Few people are willing to overcome your problem and be your friend.
So I doubt you will want people to laugh at your problem, because that will just remind you they notice it and they are bothered by it. It will remind you of why the only people who still call you are your family and your best friend.
And for the record, I think saying “If I had such problem/disability then I would want people to do this and that” is just the way selfish douchebags justify their despicable actions. In the current situation, mocking someone’s dsability.
Not that you, PodMonkey, are a douchebag, but what you said does make you look like one.
Yup. You’re right. The woman in the video is clearly bothered by the fact that the guy next to her is currently pretending that she doesn’t exist. In fact, I think she’s going to start sulking any minute now.
I’ve known several people with various screws loose in the nugget. The ones that have accepted it don’t care much about it, same with anyone who has an abnormal characteristic. They deal with it, get a chuckle out of it when they can. I have very poor short-term memory. I tend to forget things almost right after they happen unless I’m really being careful not to, in which case I have to repeat what is said a few times in my mind to remember. Rather than cry “Don’t make fun of me!” when my wife laughs at it, I just nod and say that my “Chronic Neuro-Flatulance” has reared its ugly head again.
Ever think that I might actually be someone that has overcome their own short-circuits and has learned to accept them?
No, of course not. Someone with no handicaps would think it impossible to accept or overcome a problem they’ve never experienced and cannot imagine having.
uhm if you realize that then you probably also can figure out that just being depressed by people like this instead of taking it in stride is what causes many people to abandon those with mental issues. If others would join her a bit and see the humor i’m sure she would be happier than say if she was just ignored.
I’ve been seriously disabled all of my life and I’ve struggled just to do daily activities… I will tell everyone from personal experience, sometimes it is depressing as hell and I cry but sometimes if I don’t just laugh at it all I would die. Humor IS the best medicine sometimes.
@3424: You’re right about the fact that everyone avoids someone who is odd. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when I was 11 or 12. Everyone thinks I’m weird. But I agree with neurological disorders are NOT funny.
Concerning the whole Alzheimer’s conversation: I can sympathize with those who’ve gone through a “living death” because I was fairly close to my grandmother on my mom’s side and when I was 11 or 12, she had a stroke and I went to see her before she passed away when I was 16. She couldn’t recognize me and was in her own world much worse than I do (being autistic, I’m in my own world a lot myself). It really was almost like she had become a shell of her former self and I regret that I had seen her in that condition.
Concerning those who think neurological disorders are funny: There are funny things that happen due to it, but that doesn’t make disorders funny. Like since I’m autistic, I’m a klutz and I laugh at my clumziness a lot. That doesn’t mean that this video is funny. I was cringing at the not-funny-ness of it all. I don’t see a fail, in fact I wouldn’t be too surprised if the lady in this video was/is very autistic. That doesn’t mean she’s to be laughed at all the time.
People laughed at me all the time and still do because of my autism and it just depresses me because I don’t intend to be funny all the time. Just give people like me a break.
I agree completely. This is wrong. Failblog, you let me down. Please do not post videos or “fails”-which this was most certainly not- like this again. Ridicule me all you want, fellow commenters, but I did not find this to be humorous in the least. This targeted developmentally disabled people, and it’s not funny.
The irony in the comment ”me” left is much better than the video itself.
Oh and if you are going to call someone an idiot. Check, double check, and triple check your grammar and spelling. You mean ”You’re” not ‘Ure’.
:’D
You’re welcome!
On the topic of the video, this is in poor taste. The passenger in this clip obviously has some sort of mental instability.

If I was that poor guy next to her, I think I would have snapped a while ago… especially since it looks like he paid for business class, only to get stuck next to that insanity. He deserves an award for managing to ignore that!
My point exactly! Even though some people can’t help the way that they react or act in public, there’s no reason to overexacturate (grammar police plx?)
Anyway, being a passenger on that flight must’ve been tough. I hope it wasn’t a five hour flight or moar!
even if she’s mentally ill, there’s nothing wrong with asking her if she’s okay, and then asking her to calm down. True, you don’t know what the reaction will be, but just sitting there and taking it? why? why not speak up?
It appears this video is of an individual who may have a developmental disorder. I’m not comfortable supporting the act of filming such a person and posting it to a website for public ridicule.
Agreed. If this behaviour is drug or alcohol induced, that’s one thing but since none of us knows merely viewing this if it is, it should be assumed that a disorder is involved. It’s wrong to laugh at that.
For those who think he should have: maybe the man next to her didn’t react because he has an intelligent, compassionate and understanding heart. Something more should have.
This is awful and sad. I can’t believe that you would post this. This woman is obviously mentally ill, and she shouldn’t be ridiculed for it. I’m ashamed to be a fan of Failblog right now. (Sure, maybe she shouldn’t have been flying alone, but she’s sick!)
ICAM. I was waiting to see if the guy next to her did something dumb to warrant the title of this one. I was hoping Fail Blog didn’t sink so low as to make fun of someone with a handicap. I guess I was hoping for too much.
I do not share the same opinion of you. If some mentally deranged person is willing to use this kind of service, he/she should be stabilized before doing so. Neuropharmacology has several options of neuroleptics or weak sedatives. If something bad happens and the patient is in this condition, it may be a liability for all the other passengers.
neuroleptics = anti-psychotics
From greek: lepthos = thin
Quetiapine (AstraZeneca’s Seroquel) is a very efficient drug, but can increase mortality in dementia-related psychosis. As we DO NOT KNOW what derangement this lady has, we should be cautious about prescribing stuff.
Are you actually suggesting people with a mental disability should be sedated every time they go in public or use a public service?
And why? Because they are a bit annoying to others when they behave like the woman in this video?
I think you are much more insane than this woman. And I wish they sedated people like you when you plan to post something on the Internet.
I must admit that the sedation part may be wishful thinking. Although a review article from the New England Journal of Medicine states: “An acutely agitated, psychotic, or violent passenger may be sedated with a benzodiazepine if it is available in the on-board medical kit.” on april 4, 2002, but I am unaware of the current FAA advices.
But, if I am insane, these guys who wrote this article are too, and the editorial board of the NEJM – one of the most respected medical journals – who published this are insane too.
All of this have reasons. Psychotics already tried to hijack aicrafts and may be a liability.
That doesnt look like “development disorder”, that looks like “mental illness”. That or they decided to take drugs to make the flight go by faster, and overshot the dose.
Regardless of the reason… someone on the ground should not have let this person onto the plane. If they are not capable of conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, other passengers should not have to put up with them.
Why? They let obese people fly, too. Have you ever had the joy of feeling somebody else’s sweat run down your arm? I have to put up with that, while this lady is mostly harmless, just loud, but so are children…
But you’re worried that some old lady might achieve that?
Well, she’s obviously enjoying the flight, why would she wanna open the emergency exit? (Doors can’t be opened inflight). She might be annoying but most probably no thread.
Oh I forgot.
Everyone here lives in the same timezone as you do, so yes, when you are at work, everyone else should be too, even if they do night shifts, or live on different continents.
Is it weird that I”m not at all surprised by this clearly bat-sh*t crazy woman? …. Oh wait. I guess seeing a dozen or more exactly the same (or worse) people than her everyday does tend to make you rather blasé…
I feel sorry for the guy next to her though. He’s practically melting through the window while trying to ignore her.
Enough with the holier than thou nonsense. She’s not “obviously” mentally ill. Nobody here knows what her issue was. It’s just as likely she was drunk, overly medicated or coked out… Actually, I think any of those options are far more likely than her being “mentally disabled.”
It doesn’t look like autistic behavior. She/he is trying to actively engage the guy by the window – to the point I was afraid he’d get poked in the eye or something.
The main fail I see is that someone who seems to need supervision isn’t getting it. On an airplane. Some poor people are getting chucked off planes because they “look arab” and other fliers freak out about it, yet this person can flail around, poke at a fellow passenger and do all sorts of outlandish things with impunity? Where is the air marshal when this stuff is going on?
Maybe the guy at the window and possibly some other people around her are her family and/or escorts? Or maybe it’s a panic attack or something. And the reason they’re all (without reason) afraid of “arab-looking” people rather than this woman is 1) How many people do you know like that can build a working bomb? 2) Some people veiw this as a “photo oppertunity”.
It is VERY Autistic, CarmenT. My son has autism and he does the exact same thing. There are different levels of Autism. Not just the “rocking back and forth and ignoring everyone around them” kids you see on 20/20 or 60 Minutes.
I’ve been exposed to a number of people on the autism spectrum. I’ll leave it at that. The grabbiness this person exhibited towards their fellow passenger seldom shows up unless the person gets angry, and this person isn’t angry.
Your son is a sample size of 1. His variant is his and his alone. You’ve got to keep that in mind.
Haha right…the classic “shooting gestures” exhibited by people who get high. I love how everyone here offers some kind of diagnosis. This one is clearly the most informed. So what do you think…is it The Marijuana?
I guess it’s possible, but she seems awfully happy and chipper for that to be the explanation. I’m sure an autistic person probably would be likely to have a very hard time in that kind of environment, but the autistic people I’ve met tend to get withdrawn or angry in those circumstances.
Oooh, making fun of the mentally ill! It’s my favorite! Next, let’s post some pictures of people with Lou Gehrig’s disease under the heading ‘muscle control fail!’ Or of funny people in wheelchairs–legs fail!
No, the best would be to post funny pictures of all those collapsed buildings in Haiti–structural fail. Hahahahahaha!
Meh. I have friends with bipolar who act nuttier than this – I myself am struggling with depression and panic disorder. I still thought it was funny. Lighten up, Francis.
Or we could video tape people typing raging comments about people they diagnose in 60 seconds of video as being mentally handicapped instead of drugged or drunk. We could title it “Psychiatric degree fail.”
You just watched an internet video. You have not diagnosed her as autistic, you’re just being self righteous.
Of course I haven’t diagnosed her. It definitely seems more likely that it is a mental condition than drugs or alcohol. You, however, seem perfectly comfortable assuming that she must be under the influence.
You guys do know that telling the other commenters how much you dislike the fail isn’t going to do anything, right? If you don’t like it, tell the appropriate people.
She is suffering from Hyperoxdementia, a rare but mostly harmless condition that comes from the combination of certain, normally benign prescription drugs, and exposure to drastic changes in environmental presser. Similar to how nitrogen can build up in the blood wile comming up from a dive can cause the bends. except for the symptoms, will affect even the most docile person dramatically, makeing them appear as if they were drunk. The systems will go away once presser evens out.
I am sure this woman was horrified when she learned of her actions.
Thats a pretty exact diagnoses from only observing for a minute, you must be one of those great doctors who instantly know what is wrong with people without ever having to see them. I on the other hand, which you probably already know by reading this, have accute back pain and need some really good muscle relaxers, please send perscription in the mail k tks.
Hyperoxdementia is a form of altitude sickness known by the airlines ad HOD. And this is why you do not see any attendants or sky marshals paying any attention to her. In the 10 years I spent in the air I saw it 2 times. in each case the person was normal before take off and then became more ‘excited’ as the pressure increased one calmed down once as we landed the other after some time in air.
You can’t assume she’s mentally ill. Some old folks are just kooky (some young folks too), and some normal people just get excitable on an airplane. People need to give FailBlog a break. If you were to delete all the potentially mentally ill people on this site, there’d be nothing left to laugh at. lol
Tardives Diskeneisia (I am almost positive I spelled that wrong, but spellcheck wouldn’t know it anyway) can have the same appearance as this. And it is the result of prolonged use of anti-psychotic medication. The kind of meds that have no recreational applications.
And you KNOW this? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? My aunt has a neurological disorder that causes her to slur her speech. People always assume she is drunk. It’s sad, and you shouldn’t judge people without knowing their situation.
So the letter from the crazy lady saying the world is only 6000 years old is bad to make fun of too? Because the 2000 posters on that fail should be ashamed of themselves!
*Wags finger at everyone*
Believe me, I love FAILS as much as the next person, but laughing at this is just wrong to me. She clearly has a severe mental condition, and we’re making fun of her for it? I don’t think she’s really aware of her behaviour, so this is really unfair.
….Actually, I don’t blame us for laughing at this, I’m disgusted at the person who took the time to video tape this, and the person who was obviously taking pictures of this poor woman.
What is funny is at the very end someone off camera says “are you ok?” and she(?) instantly looks normal and in a very normal voice says “Yeah I’m perfectly fine.”
Some of her gestures and mannerisms remind me of a child I worked with who had various issues. While I would agree that making fun of the mentally ill is not cool, I also think that people should lighten up a bit. Particularly since you don’t know why she’s behaving that way. Could be mentally ill. Could be a reaction to drugs and air pressure like someone suggested. Or it could be illicit drugs (she really doesn’t seem drunk to me).
Whatever it is, if I was the guy sitting in the row with her, I would be asking a flight attendant to move me but since I’m not him, I will freely laugh at him for being in that situation.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’d gladly move to where he was sitting. People with autism or mental disabilities or whatever this woman has are infinitely smarter and more sensitive than regular business-going induhviduals. Sometimes it takes loosing your reputation to gain your life. Or something somebody famous said somewhere….Am I insane for saying this?
Are you politically-correct losers serious?? This video is hilarious! If we can’t laugh at the crazies then why don’t we just stick them all in the looney bin so they’re not such a huge pain in the ass to society. She should have been kicked off the plane for such ridiculous behavior whether she was nuts or not. The other people on the plane paid for their tickets and shouldn’t be stuck next to someone who’s entirely batshit crazy without being able to laugh at her retardation.
I agree with Mary. And I’ve been in an insane asylum, it makes visitors with even strong minds go bat-guano crazy. If you have any conscience at all you’d take that back. So please give me your adress so I can come over and hit you in the stomach with a crowbar.
I have a mental disorder myself and if I was acting like this woman is, I’d expect to be ridiculed too. IF this woman actually has a mental disorder, then she should be on medication. She shouldn’t be allowed to fly like this. Parents with whiny children have been kicked off of flights, why should this be any different.
Everyone complaining about making fun of the disabled needs to STFU. And crazy people need to take their meds!
I agree with you entirely. As a person with a mental illness also I take my meds regularly and would certainly expect to be escorted off the plane if I behaved like that. Likewise with stupid parents who bring screaming babies/children on airplanes. Morons.
What I can’t stand is self-righteous little genetic dead-enders who get their panties in a twist if a baby makes a sound on a place. They’re babies. Sometimes, when you have a baby, you need to fly somewhere. Babies cannot be ‘made’ to shut up.
Someone wiped your ass once and put up with your puling and puking once (and actually, those babies are the ones that will be wiping your ass when you are old and no one cares about you). Just because you are too self-centered to further the human race doesn’t mean you get to live in a hermetically sealed bubble. Get over yourself.
I’ve just read through all the comments and was surprised that no one had the response I did–that being on a plane with a person behaving that way (I don’t care why she was) would give me a flaming anxiety attack.
Then again, I’d take my medication for that and be unconscious for the rest of the flight, so I probably won’t notice after the first half hour of hyperventilation and off-the-charts blood pressure.
I would be most interested in how high the stress levels were for the other passengers. One person’s perfectly fine flight (she didn’t seem to be frightened or in pain) is not equal to the stress and discomfort of the dozens or hundreds of other passengers.
How is it all right to let people like that on a plane without an attendant?
That person might be loud and distracting, but she didn’t seem to be a genuine danger; swinging one’s arms and calling out “Right on!” is hardly something to be feared. So why should she need an attendant?
THANK YOU. My thoughts exactly. I have a phobia of flying that sometimes causes anxiety attacks, for which I am in therapy and for which I have a prescription. However, on a recent flight for which I was particularly rushed, I misplaced my medication and had to take the flight unmedicated. It was unpleasant, but I kept my anxiety to myself (as I always have — the only people who ever even notice are traveling companions, when I have them) and got through okay. I would NOT be able to keep it together with someone like this sitting near me. Someone like this woman could very well possibly cause a full-on medical problem for me, which makes putting HER on a flight in this state dangerous to other passengers.
Hell, the main reason I don’t find this fail funny is because I find it scary instead. But, just as I don’t have a problem with people laughing at my phobia (it’s irrational! I understand this! When I’m not in the middle of an attack *I* find it funny!), I don’t have a problem with finding the humor in other people acting irrationally, for whatever reason they might be acting that way.
That was probably some 1.5 hour flight – I had to put up with some guy just like that sitting across from me who was freaking out and going insane on a 15 hour flight. The best thing a person can do is put earbuds in your ear and ignore… even if you’re not listening to anything.
The woman is emaciated, and she is younger than she looks because she has lost most of her teeth. She has the hallmark appearance of a meth user. Add this to her behavior, and I would say she’s cranked pretty high on meth right there. Her appearance is that of every meth head I’ve ever seen – if that were not the case, I’d agree with those who mention autism or other mental conditions. The meth in her system is making it very hard for her to stay in her seat, and she feels pretty good. She’s not nervous or frightened. I’m surprised no one else here picked up on her physical appearance – but maybe you haven’t seen these addicts. It’s pretty sad.
Self neglect + a poor public health provision (total lack of dental care) + drinking sugary soda is what does it.
Most Americans treat their teeth pretty badly (hence the high incidence of cavities) but make up for it with interventionist dental care. Take away that dental care and you get “meth mouth”.
Basically the only thing that causes dental decay is sugar.
The other types of “acid” do no harm at all. Not unless you’re deliberately holding diet soda in your mouth for minutes at a time for some reason (the phosphoric acid in diet coke is a very weak acid).
Dude, you need to catch up on some Intervention. Meth makes people lose their teeth. Like, crazy fast. Nice to know you don’t live in an area where it runs rampant.
Oh, shit, that gives me an idea, I should make and sell black market dentures.
Plenty of prescription drugs reduce saliva production at least as much as meth.
And yes it’s the acid the bacteria produce and the ‘stickiness’ of that acid and the bacterial plaques. This only comes about because of the sugar in your diet.
The acids in your diet (of which citric acid is the worst) are basically harmless unless you were mouth washing with them for some reason.
Meth mouth is a myth. This is just what happens when you lose your dental insurance and don’t look after yourself.
It makes a nice story because lots of Americans have so little to distinuish themselves from the ‘poor’ that their health insurance is a point of pride for them (see the current fight over healthcare).
I can. This looks like Bipolar 1, manic phase.
Of course, I’d need a LOT more history on her before I made any sort of diagnosis, but she’s exhibiting pressured speech, excitability, inappropriate affect, and what looks liek grandiosity.
A previous poster mentioned her constant facial motions, which resemble tardive dyskinesia, which is the result of long term anti-psychotic usage.
Chill out people. Being mentally handicapped sucks, but being treated like less than a person is worse. I have close relationships with several mentally handicapped people in my life, and there is one thing they all have in common. They all understand (for the most part) that they are different and may never do the things that other people are able to do, but that’s no reason to treat them differently. There’s no reason that we can’t laugh at this, especially since nobody knows what is really wrong with her.
I, too, am very close to developmentally disabled people. My sister, two of my nephews, and most of the kids I’ve worked with have autism. You’re right to say that some of them understand that they’re different. However, my adult-aged sister will tell you that they do NOT appreciate being laughed at. In her own words, “Just because I’m different doesn’t make it ok to be mean to me.” The only laughter that should come with this is that she is clearly very happy to be on that plane. We should be sharing in her joy. Not poking fun.
Exactly. I do feel sorry for the lady, but her condition is self inflicted. Do a quick search of videos of people on meth and you will notice a pattern…. and its not that they all have alzheimers, or schizophrenia.
Actually this is quite common behavior for someone who is experiencing a schizophrenic episode. They are out of touch with reality and often behave inappropriately due to their delusions.
I am an avid fan of failblog… it is my favorite source of entertainment. However, I am disappointed by this so-called “fail.” The person clearly has a mental disorder–probably a form of mental retardation. Funny or not, posting a video of them on a site like this is inappropriate and sends a disturbing message: that people with mental disorders are a FAIL.
Yeah, I have to agree with some of the earlier posts – laughing at the someone who is obviously mentally disabled or handicapped makes this a Failblog FAIL
I can see that she’s obviously got a problem, but I think that it isn’t right to inflict her on a fuselage full of people crammed together like sardines for a god-knows-how-long flight. If I was on that plane I’d be pissed as hell. The people caring for her need to be more responsible and either medicate her or find another way to travel.
You have the type of attitude that put people like this woman, my sister, and two of my nephews in mental institutions to be forgotten and abused back in the day. She deserves to be on that plane just as much as you do.
I’m wondering why Ran thinks that there is necessarily anyone caring for her. Perhaps that fellow next to her is so patient with her because he knows her; perhaps he is in fact her “attendant”. Or her grandson, or nephew, or son.
What’s exceptionally rude is that people recorded her–and then put it on the internet. Appalling.
“Clearly fail” – as in the commenters who have said “Clearly, she is bipolar” or “Clearly, he has a developmental disorder.” It’s clearly *not* that clear; we’re numerous comments in and haven’t even agreed on the sex of the person (who, by the way, is clearly the person who decided Sarah Palin would be a good candidate for vice president).
Anyone’s better then Biden. My DOG would make a better VP. I wish people would leave Palin alone. She’s bright, she speaks her mind, and unlike Hillary “I’ll stay with my cheating husband because that’s the only way a woman can get votes” Clinton, Palin is a TRUE feminist.
The assertion that “anyone’s better” doesn’t mean you should just take the next person up the list and nominate them for VP. I think this person would make a better VP than Palin. At least s/he isn’t claiming to be seeing Russia from somewhere over Colorado.
She made rape victims in Alaska pay for the lab work on the rape kits if they wanted to pursue justice. Just rape victims, not other crime victims. That isn’t feminism. It’s misogyny. And vile.
I doubt it, as the above comment is grammatically correct – with the possible “prescriptive” exception of the sentence fragment “And vile.” But as that fragment is used for emphatic effect, I think in a descriptive sense of the use of English, it’s permissible. “That above comment,” however, would qualify for Engrish if we were being picky.
She’s not “bright”. She’s a spectacular idiot who melts down as soon as she gets an unscripted intelligent question. I flush things on a daily basis with a higher IQ than Palin.
Personally I would vote for Tina Fey before Sarah Palin
The first thing I thought when watching the video is: Autism.
Her flapping, uncontrolled gestures. The way she speaks, in catchphrases and echolalia.
It’s exactly how my son acts.
I’m greatly disappointed in the FAIL Blog community for posting this and at my fellow humans for being such dinks in thinking this is funny.
There are no physical symptoms of schizophrenia or any mental illness.
The muscular ticks and repetitive movements schizophrenics develop come from the antipsychoctic drugs they are prescribed.
Those drugs have a 50% chance of causing parkinisons like symptoms after 10 years and a 90% chance after 20 years.
Google “tardive dyskinesia”.
This is one very good reason never to have any kind of mental breakdown.
You are likely to be given antipsychotics even with no history of mental illness, and even a short period on these drugs (a month) has a 10% chance of casusing permanent brain damage.
You are quite right about the older antipsychotics but there are some newer drugs that are much better and do not generally lead to parkinsons. Still, it would be really unfortunate to have schizophrenia regardless…
And the flight attendant didn’t say anything to the pilot about this why? I’d be afraid she’d go completely insane and try opening up and jumping out the door or emergency exit!
If I’m ever on a flight with her, I WILL knock her ass cold!
Meh. My bad taste radar’s going off. Even though we can’t diagnose her with anything, it’s pretty obvious that she’s mentally ill. Not so funny, and not in the Failblog spirit. We’re here to laugh at stupid people, not the mentally disabled.
how do you know she isn’t drunk i mean isn’t it kinda wrong of you to just go off and say she is mentally ill i mean possible yes but maybe she is a stupid person maybe she is high or drunk or god knows…. something else i bet you watched the whole thing didn’t you so don’t that make you just as bad as the person who posted this….
The posting of this video as a fail and most of the comments it got made me realize even more that most people have become a plague for this world.
How can you laugh at an illness like that? I suppose all you people who thought it was funny also laugh at cancer patients. How can you put this video and this situation on the same place with stupid people trying to park a car.
Fail Blog admins, please remove this video from your list. It has no place there.
Posting this video is a FAIL. This poor woman is obviously mentally ill. If this was your family member would you be laughing? Why don’t you post some crying Haitian children as your next video? That would be just as insensitive. There is a difference between a fail and cruelty, and this belongs in the latter category.
If you can’t laugh at it, you’re taking it too seriously. That applies to everything – absolutely /everything/. Life itself is a joke – the only meaning to be found within it is what we give to it. Once you let go of what you assume to be important, you find the things that really are important.
Mental illness is hardly a minor thing. But can it be funny? Absolutely. Laugh – laugh, and be merry. Don’t do it around the person in question if it would hurt them (and as you can’t be sure, err on the side of caution), but for your own purposes, nothing is taboo. Your rights end where everyone else’s begin, but barring that, you’re free to find humor in any situation you care to find it in.
That goes for comedians, politics, kites, puppies, snails, egg beaters, mental illness, death, cats, cats eating cheeseburgers, Hypnotoads, or whatever else strikes your fancy or your humor.
The difference is that most of the people laughing at this are not laughing in a “merry” way. It’s a mocking laughter, because Failblog is about exploiting stupidity for our amusement. As such, posting this video was lewd and inappropriate.
To each their own, and I even get where you’re coming from. The only issue I have with this video is the privacy issue, though – laughing at something considered taboo like the symptoms of mental illness is far from exploitative, in my opinion, unless it’s actively coming at someone’s expense (home invasions being a great example, but not so much in a public place).
I’m all for laughing at people who deserve it, but this is sick. This site should be for poking fun at people who lack common sense, not people who have mental disabilities. I’m sure this woman and the people who love her have enough to deal with when people stare at her in public for something that isn’t her fault, without some scumbag filming her on his phone and posting it on the internet for the rest of the scumbags of the world to stare and laugh at too. This isn’t a matter of “lightening up.” It’s a matter of dignity and privacy.
Excellent point about the invasion of this person’s privacy.
I’ve made other comments in here; repeated them a few times because I feel that strongly about making my point, which is essentially the same as yours.
If i saw someone making a video of my schizophrenic brother, that person would minus a camera phone.
I’m not sure why you all say she is “ill” I’m pretty sure she is a meth head. I live in an area where meth is an issue and people way to hopped up act just like this lady. Hell she even looks dry skinned, dirty and toothless, like a user.
Mm yeah she must be ill, would hate to be shown on the internet to a mass audience in that state.
If u find this funny, why don’t u go to a hospital or a mental home and go laugh at them, i think there is something wrong with u.
agree with the “bad taste” camp. lost an ex and a good friend last year to schizophrenia, and my heart breaks for people like this. taping and posting it for public ridicule is abusive. an offensive blemish on a 99.999% funny site.
She is having a good time! I don’t know why you people have problem with that. Are you trying to imply that mentally impaired people cannot have a good time? And try to be funny? And laugh? And try to involve you? And be happy when they see you are laughing with them? Or at them? Don’t we all occasionally make asses of ourselves to make someone laugh? Oh, sorry, that would not be you, cause you are waaay too serious and … uptight… to ever do that.
Life is too short, and this person is having more fun then you are or ever will with that attitude. Learn from those you are calling impaired.
Cheers!
Both my beloved grandmothers had Alzheimers before they died, and they were both hysterically funny. It’s fun in a tragic way, but if you never allow yourself to see the hilarious in a sad situation, your life will be a lot heavier than it needs to be.
I agree, I am lucky enough not to have any family members with ,emtal illness’s (I think, I might be wrong cause there is quite a lot) but If you were serious about all the bad things that happened in life, everytime you watched the news you would become chronically depressed. Lifes to serious to take it seriously.
just a thought… i like how there is an alzheimers ad on left, top, right, and bottom. doo noo doo noo!!! (twilight theme, and not the new gay twilight, im talkin old school)
I didn’t like this.. I don’t understand whats fail about a person with mental retardation. Maybe its because Ive lived with my autistic brother my whole life, I don’t know..
Ok, the actions she makes might be “funny”.. but laughing at the fact shes retarded isn’t. Its insane how many people (thinking its mental disabilities) think that just the fact she is, that its funny.
I feel bad laughing at this, but the reality is, if I had this same issue, I’d want people to at least get a good laugh out of it. She seems like she’s having a blast.
Mental health issues…are all of you doctors or what??? My first impression was that she’s high on something. It’s much logical and more easy than to diagnose an already difficult do diagnose disease via a recorded video in a who-know-what-happened-before environment.
I think she was scared to fly, and when the plane landed, her feelings of relief were so overpowering that she showed that relief in such a manner. I think she is just very happy, overjoyed in fact, that the plane landed safely, and that it was a good landing. I bet she shimmied and danced all the way down the isle and off the ramp to whoever was waiting to greet her. Maybe she had a little bit to drink (do they still serve those little bottles of alcohol on the plane?) and maybe this too increased her euphoria over surviving such a scary plane ride. Some people are just scared to fly and I think she might be one of them. Like me! I’d feel that happy too, but unless I had a few drinks in me, I don’t think I’d be able to let loose like she did, LOL!
This woman is funny! and she knows it! LOL Thats why she’s doing it. Even if she has mental issues, people like that aren’t stupid, they know when they are doing something people will think is funny. My Grandpa had dementia and so did my Grandmother, and they both did things like this because people thought they were funny. Yea it’s a bad disease, but isn’t EVERY disease? Lighten up people.
You’re an uninformed idiot. People who are mentally ill are not having a good time. They SUFFER. EVERY F*CKING DAY! My older brother has schizophrenia. I have seen and heard him suffer.
And they cannot control their behavior, unless they take very strong medications that leave them feeling numb, tired, and depressed (according to my brother.) Get educated before you run your mouth.
sorry guys, but this is not funny at all. this woman is sick, she has a terrible desease called athetosis, which kills your ability to controll the moves of your body.
sorry. not funny.
Ok so you should just stop laughing at all the fails in this site. Or any other photo or video that showed people hurting them self. For most of them it was not very funny. Like the guy in the golf cart could have had a serious injury and was hospitalized. Is it right to laugh at that? So just cut the hypocritical crap and laugh
This is not a fail. This is clearly a person with a disability. Please remove it. I have a disabled child, and if somebody posted a video of him purely to make fun of/laugh at him, I would be heartbroken.
People, practically every thing posted on failblog is a result of a mental disability of some shape or form, the most common of which being “stupidity”. The only difference between this and most other posts is that this involves a rarer disability.
I admit it’s likely that she has a mental disability but I agree with the earlier post’s that we dont really know, she could be drunk or high.
“Ok so you should just stop laughing at all the fails in this site. Or any other photo or video that showed people hurting them self. For most of them it was not very funny. Like the guy in the golf cart could have had a serious injury and was hospitalized. Is it right to laugh at that? So just cut the hypocritical crap and laugh. – Shuenqui” I agree, almost every video is not funny to someone, like the section that had all the trees that were cut down go wrong. I doubt the person thought it was funny when the tree fell on them and they were hospitilised. It would be great if we could actually get the opinion of the women in question, if she was able. Who took the video? If it was a family member or friend and they were the ones to post the video I think it would be all right, but if the person had no permission to post the video, and the family didn’t want it to be posted, that would be wrong.
I agree with the people who say this isn’t funny. It’s fricken annoying. I don’t know what I’d do if I was in that guy’s place. If I was on the aisle I’d ask to move, but being trapped in I’d probably be stuck. The only one who may know what her problem is is the woman herself, despite the 50 posters who’ve commented that she “clearly” has one condition or another.
One way or another there’s no way I’d want her on my plane. Probably stuck with her, though.
And before the dipsh*ts tell me to “lighten up” let me add this:
I have a schizophrenic brother. I have heard him screaming in the night at the demons only he can hear; I have seen him flailing his arms at monsters only he can see; I’ve seen him laugh at jokes only he can hear.
This is not entertaining; it is tragic and terrifying. Terrifying because schizophrenia can strike at any young person; usually in the prime of their life.
I come to failblog to laugh at the unintended screw-ups we are all apt to make; not to mock the unfortunate innocent victims of horrible illnesses.
I didn’t find this funny, but I know I’d be a bit scared if I was sitting next to that lady. I was made very uncomfortable watching this. I do wonder why they would allow people in her condition to fly like this and cause a disruption, but then again some people would wonder why we let babies on planes for the exact same reasons. However, people shouldn’t have to put up with total strangers invading their personal space. Just my two cents, not trying to be a d*ck.
Autism, n.
1. (formerly) an abnormal absorption with the self; marked by communication disorders and short attention span and inability to treat others as people
2. see retardation, imbecility, etc.
Cheer up people. This woman is completely effing oblivious to her condition. Stop projecting your own abysmal self-pity onto her. You egocentric bastards. Laugh at her instead: that way she is at least contributing some positive value to the world.
Agreed. I used to serve a lady who looked alot like her and acted the same at a cafe I worked at. She was clearly having a great time. If I ever lose my marbles I want it to be like that.
Oh and to “you think this is funny”, I am guessing you would be the least tolerant if you happened to be sat next to her.
I would have asked the jerk recording her, to stop. So guess again.
I would ignore her behavior (as best I could) , except in the following situations: If I were on a plane/bus/train and felt threatened by the erratic behavior, or thought the person was in distress, I would quietly alert the authorities to check on the person.
In any event, I would not get out the camera to record her, and post it on the internet for mindless people to laugh at. It’s an invasion of her privacy, and incredibly insensitive.
My point is about compassion and understanding, not sorrow or pity, for the afflicted. Those who are mentally or developmentally disabled don’t deserve to be ridiculed, on top of everything else they have to go through. Allow them the dignity that their disease does its utmost to take from them.
There is a line between comedy and cruelty. Most people wouldn’t laugh at a retarded person for not getting an obvious joke, or a person with no legs falling out of their wheelchair; or mock bald children who lost their hair to chemo, or people who cannot control their behavior due to an illness. It would be a shame if this site has decided they want to cater to the people who would.
It is possible the person in the video is not mentally ill, but has another affliction that causes her to lose control over her behavior, while at the same time being perfectly sound of mind. In which case she would KNOW you are mocking her, and why, but can’t do anything about it. Still think that’s funny?
Sorry…But if the person who shot this video is reading this ( i will be posting on youtube as well) please please please READ THE OPERATORS MANUAL TO YOUR CAMERA BEFORE YOU USE. maybe then you might understand Shaky, uncontrolled video, in any situation is not acceptable in any way shape or form. Ty for your time
Now, see, FAIL Blog, if you had posted a video of someone with a mental illness being stupid –regardless of– their mental illness, that would be great. I’m all for equal opportunity mockery. However, it’s just not funny when the situation is directly caused by their mental illness.
And no, I’m not particularly concerned for the woman herself – she seems to be having a good time – but mainly her family. If anyone doesn’t get it, think about how this the family might feel if they found this on the internet. Not only are they probably going through watching her lose her sanity, but then some jackass posts it online. Lame.
Everyone who feels that this post is unethical should click “Contact Us” at the bottom of this page and write directly to the FAILBlog staff. That is the best way to persuade them of the inappropriateness of this post.
“Ok so you should just stop laughing at all the fails in this site. Or any other photo or video that showed people hurting them self. For most of them it was not very funny. Like the guy in the golf cart could have had a serious injury and was hospitalized. Is it right to laugh at that? So just cut the hypocritical crap and laugh”
Sorry dude… if you laugh at even one of the fail blog posts than you are just being a hypocrite. its not funny to you because it affects you in some way (and if i were in a similar situation as yours i probably would feel the same) as all the other posts of accidents are offensive to the people who lived them or identifies with them. so before you get all righteous think about others and reflect on your own actions.
I can’t believe this video has been up for almost a week and it hasn’t been removed… massive fail, failblog. It seems like most of the people here agree with me too. Mental illness is NOT FUNNY and watching this video made me want to cry, not laugh.
I’m so pleased Failblog are posting videos of the mentally ill.
As a doctor, I’ll be able to upload plenty of videos of other hilarious situations, such as patients who are vomiting after chemotherapy, people suffering grand mal epileptic and diabetic seizures, and pysch patients drooling on themselves after being given thorazine (to name but a few comedic classics).
I’m also delighted to see that Failblog don’t see any need to preserve privacy or dignity, so I won’t bother myself with that either.
Hey doctor!
Sou you are saying that she is mentally ill for certain. Nice doctor you are. How did you made this diagnosis? Could you PLEASE teach me how to exclude all the other causes of the excitement presented by the “patient” in discussion?
you guys take stuff way to far into thought did anyone stop to think maybe the old ladie isn’t a stiff and maybe she was drunk you know you can drink on planes it is funny so until you prove to me she has a mental illness i am lmao
Why do you think that we need to prove to you that she is mentally ill before you would stop laughing? I would think that a sensible person would feel the opposite, that you wouldn’t laugh at it until you knew for sure that she wasn’t mentally ill. Either way, this video really isn’t funny. Even if she is just drunk or high I don’t see any humor in it. If she is drunk, its pathetic, not funny.
omg you people need to lighten up. if you dont like it just chill and watch some other funny fails. you dont know anything about this person so dont get mad at us for getting some humor out of it
you all that are hating on this video need to shut up! it’s funny!!! i highly doubt she has someting wrong with her, if so sorry, but it’s freaking halarious! so back off.
I thought she was mentally retarded, but then at the end someone asks “are you okay” and her face becomes normal and she responds in a perfectly pronounced voice “yes I am perfectly fine”.
This is going to be one quote filled comments section!!
SHE’S GAY!
the man beside her must be like ‘plz control yourself mom…omg…’
We need someone to do subtitles, PLEASE! I can’t hear his insane cheering!!!!!! D=
her*
or is it? I really cant tell – my grandad looks exactly like that person.
Oh, my, look what we have here. A typical fail-blogger recording his mom with a camera phone!!!
well i for one find diseases like this funny and would expect no less from anyone else should they observe me under the affect of such a disease because i wouldnt f*cking know what was going on and even if i did id hopefully still remember that i laughed like them before
wtf is this?!?!
last time I checked failblog was a website that shows funny fails.
This is just discrimination against a handicaped person!!!…
sad, poor(not her, failblog!) and just not funny.
Please TAKE IT OFF THE SITE!
word.
As far as I can remember, Failblog has NEVER removed a single fail. They may have before I found it, but I doubt it.
Even the ‘fail’ that everyone considered racist, you know, the multi-thousand comment flame war about peoples different religions…ect
Meth is a hell of a drug.
Cool story, bro.
Shame on you Fail Blog! MAJOR FAIL
I agree, this is a new low for failblog. I don’t come here to expect politically correct humour, but having a go at somebody who is clearly mentally ill is pathetic.
My gf is bipolar and I’ve seen her do stuff… liek she once cut her own arm like a chess board, it was horrifying.
Anyway, I think this is funny. I do. But at the very least, they should have censored her face.
“Awh but that takes time, and we don’t like to work!”
Then don’t upload things like this, where you make fun of a clearly mentally insane person.
I agree with pissed-off-guy up there: Major FAILblog Fail
No wonder the “most watched channel on youtube” has been banned NUMEROUS times.
Image if that was your mom, aunt or grandma all over the internet.
“Sanity Fail” in the video. Proving her sanity would do nothing as this still shows Failblog thinks that this person is insane, and is mocking it.
can’t be that bad a condition, he’s still alive after 30 odd years.
he goes nuts and walks in front of a truck, that’s nature or natural selection whichever you prefer.
face it, if you can’t laugh at it then you are afraid of it. and if you are afraid of it, then the terrorists have won.
I agree. This isnt funny.
Yeah I agree she is definitely mentally handicap. NOT FUNNY.
WTF I totally submitted this video a month ago, who the heck is boxman0527.
someone whos cooler than you
totally
me!!!!! hahahahahaha
o snap epic pwnage
grandma and meth, do not mix them…….
She clearly has a mental health problem and you’re laughing at her?
Mental health problems are just god’s way of light-hearted humor.
Like alzheimers.
Why so serious? I fail to find humor in a disease that has caused the person who has loved me and raised me to no longer recognize me. It is a living death. That is why.
I’m with you.
There’s no point in laughing at sick people.
I think she’s just high from the lack of O2 she’s getting on the flight.
Too much O2, actually.
that’s why the joke is funny.
its a joke and its funny…. SO LAUGH GOD DAMN IT!!! stop caring about peoples feelings so much
Congratulations. You’re a creep.
you wouldn’t be laughing if it was your grandfather.
my biological father died in a fire, and you have pyro in ur name. How can u joke about pyromaniacs you insensitive jerk.do you admire pyromaniacs…creep.
god u guys are morons people make up stories about their parents disabilities or deaths to get attention, probly not even half of the stories about dead parents, or break ups, or whatever, you read are real
You’re incredibly even sicker than the woman is. What a waste of food, to feed you.
I hope you die soon.
Now laugh at your impending demise dumbass.
“Funny” is the last thing that it is.
i lold
coming from a health professional: some mental disorders can frequently be funny to observe. If you don’t take a moment and laugh at the situation, you’d crumble under the weight of the despair.
this is funny. alzheimers, not so much. but this is funny.
Coming from another health professional, mental disorders are never funny. And this is not funny either.
Coming from me, this is funny. And why shouldn’t it be? Obviously this person was having a great time! I don’t think they mind…
it’s not a mental disorder…. the coke bag she swallowed before getting on the plane burst and she’s high as a kite!!!
I think either that or she is drunk as a monkey’s ass
I’ll consult a professional comedian, not a health professional, on the issue of whether this video is funny, TYVM.
Yes.. let’s never laugh again. It may upset someone.
agreed!!!
u poor person, be strong xx
Mental health problems are fun as hell (c)
DUDE… WIN!
My diagnosis is manic phase of bipolar disorder.
It’s lupus
[H]
Probably has Tourettes syndrome.
Nope. Tourette is different than that. People with Tourettes syndrom don’t have a mental handicap like this person seems to have. Either way, nothing to laugh at.
Agreed, probably more like Dementia, which really can be funny as hell. Laughing at disabilities isn’t funny. Laughing at funny disabilities is funny.
Honestly, if I was crazy, I’d rather people be happy than sad. What’s the good of bringing sadness to the world?
I’m avoided by pretty much everyone except those who love me too.
Mental health problems can be self-inflicted, such as consuming too much of a mind-altering substance..
You mean like Crystal Meth? Cuz it looks like it to me. I feel bad for the passengers around him.
I’d say it’s a “her”.
Totally meth, she even looks toothless. I’ve seen people on too much meth and they act just like her.
Yes we are.
I agree with you, this is really bad taste…
Yep. Bad taste. Left me feeling.. gross for having watched it.
Kill yourself, Curly Andy!
Yes…Yes we are.
i am pretty sure that a meth habit is not a mental health problem
way to be a debbie downer
I agree completely. This is wrong. Failblog, you let me down. Please do not post videos or “fails”-which this was most certainly not- like this again. Ridicule me all you want, fellow commenters, but I did not find this to be humorous in the least. This targeted developmentally disabled people, and it’s not funny.
totally agree…not funny at all, it’s sad
ure an idiot
The irony in the comment ”me” left is much better than the video itself.
Oh and if you are going to call someone an idiot. Check, double check, and triple check your grammar and spelling. You mean ”You’re” not ‘Ure’.
:’D
You’re welcome!
On the topic of the video, this is in poor taste. The passenger in this clip obviously has some sort of mental instability.

And before you tell me to “lighten up”, let me add this:
I have a schizophrenic brother. I have heard him screaming at night at the demons only he can hear; I have seen him flailing his arms at monsters only he can see; I’ve seen him laugh at jokes only he can hear.
Mental illness is not entertaining; it is tragic and terrifying. Terrifying because diseases like schizophrenia can strike at any young person; usually in the prime of their life.
My brother was diagnosed at 20 years of age. He’s 50 now, and must take several medications a day, in order to behave “normally”. But he still hears the voices and hallucinates.
I come to failblog to laugh at the unintended screw-ups we are all apt to make; not to mock the unfortunate innocent victims of horrible illnesses.
Is that Robert Murraine sat next to her/him (I can’t tell)
She seems a little flighty.
And high-spirited!
Quite the altitude.
Her spirits certainly got a lift.
She needs to slow her roll.
It seems like she isn’t even terrestrial.
PS – “Right on!”
she’s high as a kite!
I want whatever that ladys on…
I want a plane too
Seat, I already have one.
damn that cool
my first first!
your first first fail
Probably not the first…
And likely not the last either.
The middle of many?
Nah, doesn’t sound good
nope
second…by a few seconds…..not first.
High altitude training.
This is why free alcohol on the airplane is a bad idea.
*was a bad idea. these days they charge extra for breathing.
And they wonder why nobody wants to fly anymore…
One of the many reasons I take the train whenever possible.
You obviously never traveled on Southern Rail through East Croydon.
Well, no… but I have travelled thirty two hours coach on an Amtrak train.
AND YOU’RE ALIVE!?!?!
I dunno, the last time I took the train to Hawaii it was a little weird…
I’d imagine you’d see some pretty amazing sights down there!
God i would slap her sooo hard she’d stop right away.
Go ahead, slap the crazy lady, see what happens.
Unfortunately im not capable of reversing time and teleporting thourgh space. It’s a pity.
Have you ever seen what happens when you slap a crazy person? They don’t always react the way you might think.
Well.. I guess another slap or maybe punch would fix that problem. Atleast she would sleep all the way to her destination.
Oh, let him try…a few nights in jail probably wouldn’t teach him compassion, but it would certainly be satisfying for the rest of us.
I like that idea!
As well as for the other inmates.
I like how kind you are. I bet that if anyone behaved like this next to you all the long hours you need to travel youd stay calm like this
I mean if shes mentally ill. Ok, she should be let on board wihtout caretaker. If she got drunk and started behaving like that, she deserves the slap.
Don’t mess with the Gohan!!!
Take that back.
Starfish is the … male starfish.
Don’t mess with Dave Gahan – or his mom on a plane.
Well of course she’s excited, why, she’s having tea with the emperor of venus tomorrow!
So, she flies all the way to Venus, and all he can offer her is tea???
it’s Magic Tea.
Patience win!
If I was that poor guy next to her, I think I would have snapped a while ago… especially since it looks like he paid for business class, only to get stuck next to that insanity. He deserves an award for managing to ignore that!
He’s just lucky there was an empty seat between them.
Business class on Southwest? Now that’s funny.
My point exactly! Even though some people can’t help the way that they react or act in public, there’s no reason to overexacturate (grammar police plx?)
Anyway, being a passenger on that flight must’ve been tough. I hope it wasn’t a five hour flight or moar!
Exaggerate. Although I’m not sure what grammar has to do with it.
even if she’s mentally ill, there’s nothing wrong with asking her if she’s okay, and then asking her to calm down. True, you don’t know what the reaction will be, but just sitting there and taking it? why? why not speak up?
sNAKES On the Motherf–n’ plaaaneee win
OMG~~ She freaked me out!! I am glad that I was not on that plane!
Now thats quite the choice… would you rather fly with a suicide bomber or a complete maniac?
Because those are your only choices?
No, you’ve also got screaming baby, snoring lummox and seat-kicker. See? The airlines haven’t taken away all of your options.
I would have been begging for the screaming babies.
Yes.
There’s one on every flight…
RIGHT ON!
Headshot is your friend
*double taps*
i wouldn’t even tap her once
Haha, which rule was the double tap?
Rule #4
That’s right!
I also enjoy the always wear your seatbelt one. ^-^
She’s just happy because old bags fly free!
Right on!
Don’t you mean THIRD? *flees*
Strangely enough, my safety dance does look a bit like that.
why the man near here don t kick here ass? xD
Here here!
I can hear that from here
She looks a bit like Erica Terpstra, from the Dutch NOC/NSF
Only if Erica Terpstra lost 100 kilos/220lbs
It appears this video is of an individual who may have a developmental disorder. I’m not comfortable supporting the act of filming such a person and posting it to a website for public ridicule.
STFU and laugh dude..
I laughed… at your spelling!
I luv trolling xD
The best trolls can spell. Just sayin’
I would think you would be typin’, oh oh oh or do you got one of those cool little voice to text programs?!
Gawd, I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’m outta this fail.
Yeah, I wasn’t going to post at all on this fail…I’m busy at work anyway. Perhaps there will be a bonus fail later when I have some time.
Yeah, real busy….
Busy at work fail.
Would it be ok if instead of a developmental disorder, she was crazy because she took too much acid in the 60′s?
I’m fine with it. The internet was created for anonymous public ridicule. This website is evidence!
My thoughts exactly.
I thought she was just excited that the plane survived the flight. I know I would be.
Not developmental, mental illness.
That’s a prime example of a person who has Bipolar 1 d/o in a manic phase.
She needs Seroquel or Lithium
Looks more like schizophrenia to me. She seems to be very out of touch with reality as people tend to be when having a schizophrenic episode.
Agreed. -1 to failblog.
don’t worry she is just a drunked douche
totally agree with Sara. The subject is clearly mentally ill. But she is not as pathetic as the tough guys who want to abuse her. man up.
So, it is indeed a fail.
you mean anti-psychotics? or sedatives?
I’d prescribe Seroquel first, and try Lithium Carb 2nd.
neuroleptics = anti-psychotics
Assuming she’s handicapped… Fail? I think no. Hilarious? I think yes.
However, I’m still banking on a combination of Old + Crazy + Seat Upgrade + Booze.
I don’t know why people insist on throwing upgrade into the mix — this was a one-class Southwest plane with the middle seat empty.
I assume they’re seeing the leather looking seats and assuming it’s a step up from coach.
Grazy grandma
No sound at work, what was she saying?
Looks like Gilles de la Tourette (off the top of my head)
That doesnt look like “development disorder”, that looks like “mental illness”. That or they decided to take drugs to make the flight go by faster, and overshot the dose.
Regardless of the reason… someone on the ground should not have let this person onto the plane. If they are not capable of conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, other passengers should not have to put up with them.
Agreed.
Why? They let obese people fly, too. Have you ever had the joy of feeling somebody else’s sweat run down your arm? I have to put up with that, while this lady is mostly harmless, just loud, but so are children…
The difference is I’m not worried that children will try to open the airplane door at 20,000 feet.
But you’re worried that some old lady might achieve that?
Well, she’s obviously enjoying the flight, why would she wanna open the emergency exit? (Doors can’t be opened inflight). She might be annoying but most probably no thread.
I know from personal experience with the right….persuasion…..the doors will in fact open in mid-flight.
Do any of you have jobs? Like Seriously?
no i have 38 years old and i live with my 15 cats
They recorded you! call your lawyer!
What the hell does that have to do with anything?
No.
I ate the jobs and they were yummy.
NOM
Oh I forgot.
Everyone here lives in the same timezone as you do, so yes, when you are at work, everyone else should be too, even if they do night shifts, or live on different continents.
Just another 9/11 Truther expressing how the plane is being flown by the Government….it’s an art, y’know.
The important question here is how did she make it through airport security, because obviously she is the bomb?
Maybe she’s flying from Slovakia
I’ve heard that they like bombs on airplanes
Or maybe from America. Most people here are like that. And that’s how AirTran gets most of their American passengers.
She’s obviously mentally ill, for whatever reason. I don’t find it funny to make fun of people with problems beyond their control. Sad.
was about to write what Tiffany said, but she beat me to it… I’d say it’s a fail on the part of whoever filmed/posted it…
hey she’s having a good time, and everybody else is amused – so a win all around!
Except for the guy sitting at the window. He’s a Patience Win.
Also, Teeth Fail.
Clearly she’s mentally unwell. Anyone mocking her should be ashamed, as should the owners of this site.
Making fun of the mentally ill sucks. Shame on whoever posted this.
Was anyone else thinking of that one scene in Beavis and Butthead Do America?
Yeah, come on Failblog, have some standards. This is not funny at all. She’s obviously mentally ill.
Enough with the holier than thou nonsense. She’s not “obviously” mentally ill. Nobody here knows what her issue was. It’s just as likely she was drunk, overly medicated or coked out… Actually, I think any of those options are far more likely than her being “mentally disabled.”
No, I’m almost positive this person has autism. Our neighbors growing up had an autistic son who was an adult and looked and acted extremely similar.
i’m going to disagree. Bipolar 1. Manic phase
Exactly, no one here knows what her issue is. Therefore no one here should be judging her.
This lady is clearly high. I have seen this before from other high people. She even seems to be doing shooting gestures…
Haha right…the classic “shooting gestures” exhibited by people who get high. I love how everyone here offers some kind of diagnosis. This one is clearly the most informed. So what do you think…is it The Marijuana?
Was this a scene from “Reefer Madness”?
Shame on you Failblog. Do the right thing and remove this one. Thanks.
Sorry you’ve crossed the line here. Publicly ridiculing the mental ill is not funny.
So I’m guessing we should all stop making fun of you…
I believe you must be trying to troll at Phil Collins
I’m almost positive this person has autism. The nervousness of being on the flight is probably causing an ‘episode’. This is not funny.
I guess it’s possible, but she seems awfully happy and chipper for that to be the explanation. I’m sure an autistic person probably would be likely to have a very hard time in that kind of environment, but the autistic people I’ve met tend to get withdrawn or angry in those circumstances.
Urgh, this is so obviously staged. An idiot whoever mistakes her for being insane.
haha, gimme some of those drugs, please!
boxman0527 FAIL
What on earth posesses someone to film this *and* submit it FB.
*goes off to vote AWFUL on all video fails*
It’s only Rubber Johnny’s mom.
WIN!
If you don’t like it, tell the appropriate people.
omfg.. where the hell are the air marshalls when you need them ?
She is suffering from Hyperoxdementia, a rare but mostly harmless condition that comes from the combination of certain, normally benign prescription drugs, and exposure to drastic changes in environmental presser. Similar to how nitrogen can build up in the blood wile comming up from a dive can cause the bends. except for the symptoms, will affect even the most docile person dramatically, makeing them appear as if they were drunk. The systems will go away once presser evens out.
I am sure this woman was horrified when she learned of her actions.
Thank you wikipedia….
Presser? Like an iron?
Or do you mean pressURE?
I’m confused.
Thank you, House, but we speak frickin’ English here in America.
Just because your vocabulary is limited doesn’t mean his/hers has to be…
100% agree with Sara. A real low for failblog.
Not as low as your mom went on me last night.
Zing!
You can’t assume she’s mentally ill. Some old folks are just kooky (some young folks too), and some normal people just get excitable on an airplane. People need to give FailBlog a break. If you were to delete all the potentially mentally ill people on this site, there’d be nothing left to laugh at. lol
Take a good look folks. She is not mentally ill, she’s tweakin. No teeth, twitchin, constantly moving her mouth, this is why drugs are bad, mkay?
Tardives Diskeneisia (I am almost positive I spelled that wrong, but spellcheck wouldn’t know it anyway) can have the same appearance as this. And it is the result of prolonged use of anti-psychotic medication. The kind of meds that have no recreational applications.
Tardive Dyskinesia. Absolutely.
Long term anti-psychotics use – especially on the older anti-psychs.
I’m calling Bipolar 1 on this one.
And yeah, shouldn’t be up on the web.
And you KNOW this? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? My aunt has a neurological disorder that causes her to slur her speech. People always assume she is drunk. It’s sad, and you shouldn’t judge people without knowing their situation.
Jasin: So it’s OK to mock people who have a drugs problem?
So its not ok to mock people drunken mistakes like a girl falling out of a window or one of any other number of alcoholic fails on this site?
“Not fail at all. Rather it was a good laugh.” -Tristan 2010
She’s wearing a Sigma Tau Gamma shirt!
Pretty sure I smell crack here.
Sorry, that migh’a been me…
So the letter from the crazy lady saying the world is only 6000 years old is bad to make fun of too? Because the 2000 posters on that fail should be ashamed of themselves!
*Wags finger at everyone*
Flying High.
failblog’s first fail.
Just the latest one
Believe me, I love FAILS as much as the next person, but laughing at this is just wrong to me. She clearly has a severe mental condition, and we’re making fun of her for it? I don’t think she’s really aware of her behaviour, so this is really unfair.
….Actually, I don’t blame us for laughing at this, I’m disgusted at the person who took the time to video tape this, and the person who was obviously taking pictures of this poor woman.
Very low.
Like your IQ…
its just an american, nothing to worry.
RIGHT ON!
SW flight to Vegas. That’s not even abnormal.
How the hell did this person get past airport security?
Hah nice.
0:17 sec. WON!
I’ll have what she’s having
All the world is a failstage. And all the men and women merely failures.
Therefore, I and You are the Center-Stage Stars. (At least at the scene where someone locks me in a trunk and pushes me down the basement stairs).
It’s not funny to make jokes of people with a mental disease.
Then we can all forget about pwnring your sorry butt……….
well.. someone is high – and it ain’t me!
ADD 100%.
That video is a real failblog fail. Those who think this is supposed to be funny are the same people who failed in primary school.
Actually I have a Masters degree and I’m laughing hysterically at the nutty woman.
Thou hasth just been pwnrd by a nerd.
The other people on the plane paid for their tickets and shouldn’t be stuck next to someone who’s entirely batshit crazy without being able to laugh at her retardation.
please don’t breed.
I agree with Mary. And I’ve been in an insane asylum, it makes visitors with even strong minds go bat-guano crazy. If you have any conscience at all you’d take that back. So please give me your adress so I can come over and hit you in the stomach with a crowbar.
Hahaha what a loser!! She’s such an idiot. Totally okay to laugh at her!
Agreed dude.
…arguing with people on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics.. you might win, but in the end you’re still a retard.
I have NEVER heard that before! Thank you for blessing us with your unique wit. So creative.
Mate babies are annoying lil brats if they scream constantly.. just smother them
Give it another 20 years and it’s your medication that will make you like this.
I love how people feel big about laughing at the mentally handicapped. Nice going, douchebags.
I don’t feel “big” about it, it’s just incredibly hilarious.
Looks funny, though I would not dare to post such a video.
The best thing a person can do is put earbuds in your ear and ignore… even if you’re not listening to anything.
plain and simple- they shouldn’t allow people like that on a plane without an attendant. ever.
As adults, it is their right to do what they please. It’s against the law to force her to have an “attendant.”
Hey there Dr. Phil, I don’t know what kind of meth addicts you hang around but this woman is insane, plain and simple. No drugs just batshit crazy.
Larry,
It’s a meth addict all the way. You have no idea what you are talking about. You are like a child who wanders in to the middle of a movie…..
Meth does not make people lose their teeth.
I know who this lady is! She’s the Grandma from Hey Arnold.
Sir/Madam:
Please accept one (1) internets.
The effect of LSD.
I don’t find mental illness funny.
Yeah, but switching Grammy’s meds before the flight sure was….
This is bad taste. The woman is clearly mental. Laughing at mental people is lame.
Hey Mr. Good Samaritan. Calling them “mental” is also in bad taste.
I’m not laughing.
The guy sitting next to her is hot.
2nd that.
And patient.
Which increases the level of hotness.
Hey man, that is now funny…
Looks like meth to me
I think she took an extra Ambien before the flight…
I can = I cannot
FAIL
It’s the diabeetus.
OMG! GRANDMA!!
*waves at screen*
I know she’s mentally ill, but it reminded me of Fear and Loathing.
“WE CAN’T STOP HERE! This is BAT country!”
Not poking fun.
flying is great… perhapse a slight exaggeration on her part though?
“Right on? Right on!”
omg… I’m not even freaking kidding that’s my friend’s grandma. I’ve met her. I cannot believe she’s FINALLY on this website lol!!
Is she on mushrooms or something?
No wonder she in first class, she gets OFF the plane sooner. XD
So who should be responsible for HER actions. And your qualified to diagnose schizophrenia how ? From watching a video. Man your good. Hahahaa!!
People are laughing because it’s funny. Period. Not one of these people knows the whole story about this woman. Get off that high horse.
Maaan!! she is TRIPPING!
This is what happens when you switch Grandma’s meds
I don’t care.. I’m totally laughing at the whack-job who hasn’t had her crack in the last hour..
Fail for posting this- mental health is no joke..
Appalling.
Seriously doubt that the guy next to her is her attendant, as he seems supremely uncomfortable and looks like he’d rather be dead.
I do agree that this video should not have been posted. It’s not funny.
Wow, you have incredibly lousy genetics, please, do your part to end mental illness and don’t reproduce.
Palin also thinks rape is ok. Are you first in line?
The assertion that “anyone’s better” doesn’t mean you should just take the next person up the list and nominate them for VP. I think this person would make a better VP than Palin. At least s/he isn’t claiming to be seeing Russia from somewhere over Colorado.
She made rape victims in Alaska pay for the lab work on the rape kits if they wanted to pursue justice. Just rape victims, not other crime victims. That isn’t feminism. It’s misogyny. And vile.
Can we put that above comment ^ on Engrish?
I’m greatly disappointed in the FAIL Blog community for posting this and at my fellow humans for being such dinks in thinking this is funny.
totally agreed. either autism, or some sort of psychiatric disorder. and neither one is a laughing matter.
You took way too many of the wrong pills granny. In retrospect, the plane ride didn’t bother you. Win.
I’ve been really disappointed with some of the things FB has been posting lately. This isn’t funny, its disrespectful.
This is the sort of person that flies Airtran
So that’s where Johnny the Homicidal Maniac’s ‘happy pills’ went. Gramma…..Come here…..They got your picture on FailBlog!
I was waiting for her to get tazered or something. Disappointing.
Even if she isn’t autistic, this is still wrong because there is the chance that she could be and in that case would be very offending
This person clearly has autism. You’re laughing at her, but the funniest thing is under her quirky behavior, she’s probably much smarter than you are.
Which isn’t really saying all that much.
G-GRAMMA??!?!?!?
Considering that they clearly are disabled with special, making fun of them on a website isn’t particularly funny.
Enough is enough, I’ve had it with dis mutha duckn’ ADHD on dis mutha duckn’ plane!
And the flight attendant didn’t say anything to the pilot about this why? I’d be afraid she’d go completely insane and try opening up and jumping out the door or emergency exit!
If I’m ever on a flight with her, I WILL knock her ass cold!
Epic tard is epic.
i totally agree with you
I suppose this is a patience win because the passenger next to this crazy person didn’t even moved once except at the end. Haha.
Parents were related :O
This is so not funny…
…It’s a disease…
I’d laugh at everyone making such a big deal out of this if the person in the video really isn’t mentally handicap.
Y’know, the scary thing is that she and I would be like twins.
That honky grandma be trippin’!
Okay. I want to see that remixed with a fast techno song on Youtube. NOW. That would be so hilarious.
Posting this video is a FAIL. This poor woman is obviously mentally ill. If this was your family member would you be laughing? Why don’t you post some crying Haitian children as your next video? That would be just as insensitive. There is a difference between a fail and cruelty, and this belongs in the latter category.
I would have got her number.
Don’t judge me… a slumpbuster is a slumpbuster.
That’s my home town!
Me use crack? Nah, never.
Lighten up, guys.
Thank you.
FAIL blog should really take this down. 0/5.
Agreed!
definitely a terrorist. someone check her underpants. (i’m not doin’ it!)
she obviously has some mental problems, or is perhaps drunk or on drugs…either way it’s not that funny.
You heard shim, “I’m perfectly fine.”
What Failblog means is this is an Ultra Epic Win. Planes are boring as shit, kudos to this lady.
As long as they don’t catch her out, that is.
I’m not sure why you all say she is “ill” I’m pretty sure she is a meth head. I live in an area where meth is an issue and people way to hopped up act just like this lady. Hell she even looks dry skinned, dirty and toothless, like a user.
clearly a tweeker.
longest………….plane……………ride……………….ever………………….
Mental retardation isn’t really that funny.
Maybe she’s just wasted
xD
That fail is offensive. She clearly has a genuine mental impairment. People should treat her with understanding rather than ridicule.
I have been a long-time Fail Blog fan, but this has turned me off Fail Blog for good.
Agreed.
*mental
just a thought… i like how there is an alzheimers ad on left, top, right, and bottom. doo noo doo noo!!! (twilight theme, and not the new gay twilight, im talkin old school)
Nan!?!
oh and ”This is going to be one quote filled comments section!!” – Avis’ – Aja” – Jesus -cloral
Tourette’s.
ohohoh look at this, mentally ill, that’s so fail and funny fo sho
I feel bad laughing at this, but the reality is, if I had this same issue, I’d want people to at least get a good laugh out of it. She seems like she’s having a blast.
Laughing at mental health issues is low, I’m almost glad she’s unaware that people are laughing at her.
good one failblog…..i guess.
Mental health issues…are all of you doctors or what??? My first impression was that she’s high on something. It’s much logical and more easy than to diagnose an already difficult do diagnose disease via a recorded video in a who-know-what-happened-before environment.
Anyone know if she’s single?
Failblog FAIL, in my opinion.
UH… TOM ARE YOU FILMING MY LEFT BREAST?
Avisa, ol’ chum… you couldn’t be more right
sorry guys, but this is not funny at all. this woman is sick, she has a terrible desease called athetosis, which kills your ability to controll the moves of your body.
sorry.
Jesus was there.
UMG A TERRORIST
This is not a fail. This is clearly a person with a disability. Please remove it. I have a disabled child, and if somebody posted a video of him purely to make fun of/laugh at him, I would be heartbroken.
My heart goes out to you. I agree that fail blog should remove it. It mocks the mentally ill.
I am outraged, because I know how much people with disabilities suffer, be they mental or physical.
My brother is schizophrenic. I have seen him suffer horribly. When people laugh at the disabled, it makes me angry, and very sad.
People, practically every thing posted on failblog is a result of a mental disability of some shape or form, the most common of which being “stupidity”. The only difference between this and most other posts is that this involves a rarer disability.
drunk
The person is obviosly mentally unsound. Thats not funny.
If it was a family member or friend and they were the ones to post the video I think it would be all right, but if the person had no permission to post the video, and the family didn’t want it to be posted, that would be wrong.
woah… *someones* been taking some pills to make herself loopy… she must hate flying enough to take *that* many pills
What if she doesn’t have a condition? What if everyone’s just overreacting and she’s just a crazy old cat lady? xD
Whatever. I sit next to people like this on the bus all the time.
It’s Woodstock somewhere!
wierd how alzheimers is pretty much the only advetisement that shows up on this fail. :\
what are you doing on failblog, Hmmmm?
oh snap!!
how sad, she’s senile.
I agree, this has no place here. She is obviously schizophrenic. If you found this funny, then you need to check yourself.
My brother is schizophrenic and acts this way, and worse, when he is off his meds.
Not funny at all to those of us who have mentally-ill loved ones. This video is a downer. Big fail for fail blog.
Shame on you, fail blog! MAJOR FAIL
weird creature…
GRAMMA IS HIGH
SAD PANDA.
Why is everyone so sad?
How is this a fail?
Thank you for the great suggestion. I just did.
Sorry dude… if you laugh at even one of the fail blog posts than you are just being a hypocrite. its not funny to you because it affects you in some way (and if i were in a similar situation as yours i probably would feel the same) as all the other posts of accidents are offensive to the people who lived them or identifies with them. so before you get all righteous think about others and reflect on your own actions.
how can you laugh at this? she is obviously disturbed..
wow that woman is crazy.
Oh the fun we will all have now.
If she is drunk, its pathetic, not funny.
chill out. it was funny
Remember kids, schizophrenia, Turrets, & drugs don;t mix.

Right On!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That’s not funny. He’s austistic.
“A Chip Off The Old Block!”
HILARIOUS!!! Drunk or not….ill or not…still HILARIOUS!
Sucks to be sitting beside her.
is she high?
the dude near her is HOT!
This is what happens when your family tree doesn’t branch!
you all that are hating on this video need to shut up! it’s funny!!! i highly doubt she has someting wrong with her, if so sorry, but it’s freaking halarious! so back off.
I thought she was mentally retarded, but then at the end someone asks “are you okay” and her face becomes normal and she responds in a perfectly pronounced voice “yes I am perfectly fine”.
This person is suitable for a madhouse
funny as hell! maybe it wouldnt be funny if it happens to your loved one, but since she is not then you can LAUGH YOUR LUNGS OUT!
