yeah, its a casino here in Reno and the guy always has weird ads going, he appears in them all. Weird guy, crappy casino.
Yeah, it’s true. Can’t remember which Casino, but it is actually intentional. The owner (who is pictured) is trying to go for humor, even though it comes off very much the opposite. I would always see this Billboard driving on the I-80, which would almost make me crash every time.

Saving money where? Extra photo editing work means more money.
If they had a photo for the old womans body and face, why did they need to photoshop the guy’s face in? Most photos of people’s faces actually contain their facial features.
Y’know, it’s possible that they had him put on a wig and a different shirt, then they’re only paying 1 guy to use his likeness and not two. As far as a photo editor being more expensive, you forget that they are gonna need to edit the photo to get rid of the background ANYWAY so putting one picture in front and slightly to the side really isn’t going to take that much more effort or time.

Hey, if that’s who I think it is then that ad is from one of the local casinos right here in the Reno/Sparks area. The owner/operator does odd ads like this now and then; has fun with his promos.
You’re correct — this is from the Sands Hotel/Casino in Reno. The guy pictured is the president of the place, and has done ads of this nature before.
Given that the ad is intentional, this is more of a failblog fail than anything else.
Actually, this ad was trying to get younger gamblers to bring their parents in for the 50+ discounts offer through their players club. He is supposed to be a mamas boy seeing as he “looks so much like her.” The Sands has never been good at advertising, but I can say that this is not a fail and is intentional.

I remember this picture from when I lived in Vegas. It was a bingo ad that some dude plays with his mother, and they looked the same. I didn’t think it could get any more stupid than it was.

The thing about this is this is a terrible’s add. Terribles is a group that owns casinos here in nevada. I living in reno see this sign a lot. The person in the photo is supposed to be a man named John Szony(or some other similar sounding gob shite) or some crep like that, and the woman is supposed to be his mother. He’s actually the owner of the company I guess, and it seems that their media department is piss poor, and arse broke.
He’s the casino owner, and it’s not that they’re broke, it’s just been his gimmick for years. Litterally, years.
