I’m honestly not sure what anyone’s sexual orientation would have to do with the video or any of the comments, but if this is the news clip I saw earlier today (guy stealing Coke machine by dragging it out of its resting place with his truck), I’m pretty sure the nice people on the news said the driver was drunk.

I think the word you should be paying attention to is ‘stole’. As in the illegal taking of another person’s property without that person’s freely-given consent.
He was trying to steal the money from the machine and that is why he didn’t stop for the police.
it doesn’t matter whether he stole it for the money or the coke inside it. he stole it. full stop.

It’s the redneck version of a James Bond pursuit-evasion device.
Someone shoulda told them to unchain it from the truck BEFORE they tried to drop it in the patrol car’s way. Or just stick with the oil slick / smoke screen device.

Failblog fail. this is a video of someone who stole a soda machine and decided that the best way to take it was to strap it to a hitch on the back of the car.
It took me a while to figure out what was going on. I thought the machine was a bad censor blur for the car license plate until I saw the soda pattern.
