Well, it is at least last season – Wigan Athletic (whose captain Mario Melchiot of the Netherlands is, um, getting the boot – and is the Arsenal man whose shorts number is obscured by Paul Scharner Nicklas Bendtner?) don’t have JJB Sports as shirt sponsor this term.
that wasnt from last season, at the latest it was the 07-08 season which i believe thats when it was from as Bendtner really didnt feature till then. I know it was then at the latest because because that was the last year in which arsenal had those jersey, they had new ones starting in the 08-09 season

Let me agree that, as a woman, I feel really bad for guys when that happens to them. I cringed.
It seems like America’s Funniest Videos and the like enjoy showing people getting hit in the nuts but I don’t think it’s funny at all. I’d prefer not to see it.

As a parent ( or indeed as a reasonable human) I also cant see the entertainment value in a toddler walking into a swing and taking it in the forehead. People on these funny vid shows seem to be sent into paroxysms of laughter by the sight of a child getting hit in the head….wtf.

I enjoy help the permanently baffled. It is something of a vocation. And since you definitely fall into that category, I shall try to explain in simple terms.
First I shall number your, shall we say, thoughts.
1) “Was he trying NOT to kick him in the nuts?” Since the approved target is well to the left of the kicker; the answer is that his target was not the soccer ball, but a very unsportsman like below the belt blow.
2) “It is an accidental, painful, kick in the nuts.” Here we see the result of your disjointed “mental” processes. In statement no.1 you state that the kicker was trying to kick him. Now you aver that it was an accident. What are your readers supposed to make of this?
3) “Extremely unfortunate.” Who could argue with that? Not I certainly.
Now that I have addressed why your comment was a fail I shall move on to why the picture is a fail. It is funny. On this site humour is the goal. Comedy is a strange entity. Perspective is a major ingredient. If I slip on a banana peel, that is a tragedy. If you fall off of a cliff, that is comedy. If someone quickly places an enormous mattress at the bottom of the cliff, so that you are not horribly maimed, we are back to tragedy again.
Here fail does not necessarily mean failure. I hope that this helps make things clearer for you.

You should go outside every once in a while.
You know, there is this big hot ball of Hydrogen that pumps light and heat out there, and causes photoshop-like outlines on top of people’s heads…
The outline should be basically even across all people. It’s not. It appears on different sides of different people, and is absent in some places that can’t be attributed to shadow. I’m fairly certain that it is fake.
