I am registered disabled and drive a very big van (truck to you Americans….). It’s not a fancy pickup with jacked up suspension, just a normal 22ft long, 9 foot high Mercedes van, but I can’t count the number of times that predjudiced people have assumed that I must be using disabled parking spaces fraudulently and it’s pretty upsetting.

Just because it’s a large, unusual vehicle doesn’t mean that it isn’t adapted to allow it to be driven by a paraplegic. I have various things fitted to allow me to climb into the cab and it’s fully adapted to hand controls.

Next time you think about letting down someone’s tyres think about whether you are actually reacting to your own bigoted idea of what a disabled person is capable of doing, rather than considering that we are just people with the same interests and eccentricities as everyone else – and that includes monster trucks, if the person is interested in them.

And just for the record, I’m female and tasteless though that pickup is, I don’t think that anyone should be barred from owning one purely on grounds of disability!

Yours is the second comment to say this “is obviously a car show” so I also ask you how it is obvious. Where I live, the sight of two or more shiny Ford trucks parked next to each other without state-issued front license plates would be fairly common and would not indicate a car show in itself.

I currently reside in a state that does not issue license plates for the front of the vehicle, in a region of the state where the sight of two or more shiny Ford trucks parked next to each other would be fairly common.

That’s a nice tall suspension apparatus for an off-roader. I mean, I can drive it over ALL types of terrain, especially sharp crests and valleys as well as deep rocky rivers and lakes!

Allow me to explain:

The picture is at a FORD sales center. They obviously ran out of space so used a section of the customers parking lot to display the automobiles.

Note the lighting.. the American symbols..the shiny,new and clean Ford trucks parked in a row..i count three. This picture was taken at a Ford car dealership in Florida. Note the Palm tree, the lack of license plate at the front of the automobile and the fact that ..

This was taken at Mesa Riverview in Mesa, Arizona. If you look behind the truck, you see the stars for the “Toby Keith” bar. In that area there are only around 10-15 parking spots, so I assure y’all it was not a truck show

Instead of a knife, simply use your multitool(e1 has 1 now dont they?) & firmly grasp the air valve with the pliers & give a firm twist and pull manouver. Should take you all of 1 second to make his/her day. They then hafta take it to a tire shop to fix it, lol.
