Don’t worry. It’s not actually illegal. That’s just what some people are saying. High school students should be required to take an entire year of WHAT QUOTATION MARKS FREAKING MEAN and then another year of the difference between a plural and a possessive. Of course, people with IQs over 80 will be able to test out of those.

as, if you get a lighter and some silly string, since the silly string contains compressed air, when you blow it over the fire of the lighter, it will cause a big flame to eprupt and most likely burn something. So its probably illegal for arsonic purposes.

So you’re saying for 36 hrs I cannot use, posses, sell, or buy silly string. BUT for the other 8700 hrs of the year I can. That just makes no sense.

Blatantly unconstitutional, as it is a violation of the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution, by way of the 14th. Outlaw Silly String all year long? OK, if you must. Outlaw silly string specifically on a religious holiday? Violation of the Establishment Clause.

I looked up Silly String, and yes, that is an actual Hollywood, CA bylaw.
And I also found that a town I used to live with bans the stuff, and actually treats it as a “weapon” just like firearms…
