i read half the comments, didn’t find anyone who was smart enough to notice it was faked, came to the bottom to write a comment and saw what i was going to write two posts above me. MLIA. It should actually be either not on Failblog, or posted as a “WIN”. This post is too long but no one will actually read it. BTW reason, im no genius, and this is my first post on this site, but there is always at least 60% interesting/stupid commentary that is entirely unrelated to the FAIL. I think that’s the point. xtra points for actually looking at the picture though.

Am I the only one that is painfully aware that this is fake? The pictures of the Coke cans are blatantly attached to the outside of the machine. This was probably some “prank” pulled by a 6th grader. Glad to see it sparked such exciting / stupid conversation though.

actually the thing is if the pepsi company goes there and sees its cooler being used exclusivley for coke products, someone can get sued, i know this because my dad owns a restaurant and we have a coke cooler and we’re only allowed to use coke products in that cooler. retarded laws, maybe its because we live in nj -_-

Definately From a US Navy Ship. It has the NavyCash card reader in it. When you are at sea for several months at a time, whatever you have, goes in the machine. You will see coke in pepsi machines, pepsi in coke machines, etc. Just cross your fingers and hope that the button you push actually gives you the soda that is on the picture

This looks like one of the soda machines we have on my ship (USS Enterprise CVN-65). Alot of times they just stock it with whatever they have on hand and change the pictures for the buttons accordingly, the machines were just originally Pepsi.

Actually, it’s both… Traditionally it was “NO COKE, PEPSI,” and then one of the last ones switched it up as the punchline for the sketch. It’s not the most well-known of that series of sketches, I guess, but it’s one of the last ones they did.

Ha ha! When I was stuck in Japan we would travel two hours to get to Tokyo, to visit the American Pharmacy in Ueno Station. American Pharmacy carries lots of foreign food and beverages and we would stock up on Mexican Coke and American Cherry Coke. Not fun carrying it home on the train but so much better than Japanese Coke. Which is super cheap, and super nasty >_<
